I just had a capsulorrhaphy done last Tuesday on my shoulder because I was suffering from a dull ache all around my shoulder which the doctor said was being caused from some laxity in my shoulder and that by tightening it would alleviate much of the symptoms. I never had any subluxations or dislocations just a general dull ached. I am a week out and I still feel that strange ache around the back of the shoulder but not as bad. I am still in the sling and realize I am fresh out of surgery.

For anyone who has had this surgery I have a few questions:

1) How was recovery?
2) How long until you were able to walk without the sling?
3) How long until you were able to return to weigh training?
4) I am wondering if I am able to walk on the treadmill to maintain some activity in my life? Of course I will consult with the doctor tomorrow. Any thoughts though?

i just had this surgery last week. looks like i'll be in a sling for another 3weeks. they originally thought i had a torn labrum but when they went in loose ligaments were all they found. how has your rehab gone? are u back lifting yet??
