Sup guys, I used to do kickboxing/No-Gi BJJ for about 2 years, but quit for lifting. Now I'm re-focused and ready to kick some ass!
Classes are 3x a week and the sessions focus on Standup, conditioning and BJJ (under 2 black belts of Ricardo Almeida)
On the days with no classes, I will be doing road work and yoga.
Wish me luck- First addition starts Monday! (Not going to add my 3 mile run in today, lol)

plan on fighting once I feel (and my trainer feels) I am ready. I didn't bodybuild, I powerlifted which I feel will help a lot with functional strength.
yeah, I regret quitting but in a way I used the downtime positively, my strength/athleticism skyrocketed and my perspective on life is much, much more positive. also got in a couple years of H.S wrestling.

yeah ok great that taking time off made u reflect in a better way... but yeah i was talking about just local competition like bjj tourneys and kickboxing... i know in the usa theres sooooooooo many of them its crazy... we got a bunch here too but not as much as over there.... i try to compete in every tournament i can... really helps to develop your competition and fighting skills.... im gonna go to brazil in august compete there and then the worlds at are long beach california also gonna compete there.. those are the big big ones and im expecting amazing competition, specially in the worlds... getting a medal from them would really mean alot.

Not really an official update, but WOW were the fights good tonight! Incredible performances by Leben and Lesnar. Leben really displayed his heart, chin and versatility. Lesnar showed great improvement on the ground- both in surviving the onslaught in the 1st round and by subbing carwin in the 2nd.
happy 4th of july you yanks! :D :D :D

Sorry for lack of updates- I've been battling a virus that had me bed-ridden from some time, but I am back @ 100% as of this morning!
Wednesday July 14, 2010- Cardio
Ran 3 miles to a nearby neighborhood, once there I found a park and did 20 strict pullups, briefly rested, then did 15, briefly rested and did 10. From there, I did 30 clapping pushups, went back to the monkey bars and did 15 leg raises until my grip finally gave out. Ran 3 miles back, and did the last 100 yards or so sprinting.
Will update later tonight after my yoga! :D
