Okay tommorow at noon I have a photoshoot located at the beach.
My plan was to cut off carbs tonight at 5-6 and not have carbs tomorrow morning, hit the gym around 10, have either a mass gainer or meal involving carbs ( which one of these be better ? ).
Anyways my main questions is should I discontinue carbs tonight and tommorow morning until right before the shoot as planned ( to cut off a bit of water weight ), or should I do something else?
Thank you so much.

Sounds like a good way to be flat and soft; just eat the correct amount of carbs.

Thank you sirs, i bow in the presence of your preparation wisdom.
Will not deplete carbs, and will be using green tea and caffeine as diuretics.

Wouldn't suggest any drastic changes or last minute carb manipulation. Think about when you tend to look best during the day lately, and what you do in the hours prior to that, then try to replicate those conditions for the shoot.

Eat a fatty burger right before the shoot.

Haha why so he can look bloated?
Have you ever done a shoot before? I've done plenty and that's just not smart advice. Eating it the night before maybe but again not unless he's depleted enough to use it in the right way after consumption.
It's too late now but I'm with Evan that you shouldn't change up much if you only have one day to do it.
What I would do is just keep your meals small and calorie dense ... no salads and other things that will expand your tummy. You should wake up feeling a little tighter. Keep it that way until after the shoot then do whatever you want.

Talk about a gamble... could work great if he is in a really depleted state, but odds are this would backfire and leave you worse off.

Good to see you around these parts Barn, you had a hell of a season a few months back! Keeping a journal these days?

If he's lean and reasonably low on carbs then a high fat, high carb, high sodium meal makes a huge difference.
Lee Haney told me this BTW, I've never been lean enough to try. I think Paul does this as well (fltallpaul on the forums I think).

Nope I never kept a journal, I have what I ate stored on my iPhone and once in a while I might update a stat or two on bodyspace but that's about all I ever did. I just like to workout and experiment with how my body reacts and works. Since the comps I've been staying pretty lean and slowly adding size but to be honest this post show VS. last post show ... from a bodybuilding perspective ... I gained so much more muscle and strength just saying screw it and eating. Mind you I can't do that with all this fitness model BS I'm getting into. I miss eating and lifting "heavy". I hope all is well with you and you're making good progress.

He's doing a photo shoot not a stage comp!
Either way this may or many not work even on a comp guy. You don't know how depleted he is nor do you know if his body is able to digest and process all that fat and crap you dump into him JUST before his shoot. That's why I said that if you're going to take that approach to do it the NIGHT BEFORE. I don't care who told you about it. It's not like eating fat/sodium/carbs are anything new pre comp but knowing WHEN is very important if you're going to try it and just before is not a good plan.

Hey thank you all for your advice ( and debates ) in my thread, I'm really satisfied with my shoot and glad I didn't go through with my original plan.
Anyways if any of you are interested in how the shot went here's a small gallery of the shots:
