So I played vs Florida in an offline dynasty I have with one of my friends. I used my custom playbook and lost 63-13...(I was FAU).

Next game I played vs Michigan St. with the Multiple D scheme (ran the exact type of player I did with my custom playbook) and held them to 17 points...

I think custom playbook is fuked up bigger than I expected. Not to mention sometimes all my plays would disappear and once my time to pick a play ran out they stood in a huddle and didn't even try to tackle the ball carrier.

Yeah I should have. Even if I lose against ND, I won't restart cause I have no legit proof that it froze and I don't want people using it as an excuse in the future.

Also, I read this on OS and I use to do it. Take your game out when you're done playing. Keep it in the box. When I was doing this, no freezes. I kept it in for a day or two, and had two freezes in a matter of 4 hours.

so did you guys notice the game playing differently between weeks 2 and 3?

Do consider that we are using bad teams. Similar feelings were held at the start of the last dynasty. our players just arent going to be stars. once we use better players, QB's will be more potent and good WRs will stand out

each slider was adjusted 5 or 10 pts (approx)

QB accuracy should be dropped for both user and CPU
Pass blocking is up for both
Pass Rush is up for both

QB Accuracy – 10 // 35 (Updated 7/24/2011)
I went 40 for both, maybe 45 for both

Pass Blocking – 70 // 70
I went 60 for both, maybe 55


WR Catching – 45 // 45
Went 45 for both

RB Ability – 50 // 90
left both at 50. we will get raped at 90. in my other OD with A-A difficulty (im Utah) a CPU USC w. 90 OVR Marc Tyler ran for about 6.2 YPC and they passed maybe 5x the entire game. i started to run the 46 defense and still couldnt stop him

against Kentucky. star QB out, star RB out. 66 OVR Soph RB plays like a beast. Kentucky is the definition of average, but this RB got 16 carries for 81 yards and a TD. no way in hell a guy like him should play like that.

im moving down CPU RB ability, CPU run blocking.

I did eventually play again because I remember earlier int he thread that if it freezes that sim until you win. After 4 tried I just played it and won.

I guess I read it wrong and you said if it freezes uploaded the game, but with :42 left I figured it would matter lol.

playing my cousin's friend. tie game late in the 4th and i'm milking the clock for the GW field goal. i decide to go for the kill shot on 3rd down (he has 1 timeout left) and jacory harris decides to go full retard and take 12 seconds to throw a streak pattern. i get sacked and it sets me back for a 56 yard FG. i hit it off the right upright (strong college kicker leg) and he drives down the field and hits a FG with 2 seconds left.

now i'm pissed b/c i've outplayed him all game and he's whored the same 3 plays all game. he decides to kick it to me instead of squibbing it....

i bounce it to the left and get the most blatant clip in the history of football thrown....no call. i keep going and his guy has the angle on me (at this point i'm standing up yelling "go, go, go" at my tv like a phaggot). he user switches to his player and i cut inside and get past him. i start to get dragged down at the 2 yard line but my guy gets thrown towards the endzone for the TD.

plus, this game should be an easy 1000/1000. i dont go for the perfect score very often, but this is do-able.

the toughest achievements appear to be:
- win by 35 on Heisman, but you can change the sliders and turn off offsides. more of a hassle than anything
- win a game w/o scoring an offensive TD and having less than 200 on offense (just play 1 min quarters and kick FG)
- put on player lock (LS button), and get a pick 6
- spotlight a WR and get a INT (just takes time)

The laptop has been getting blue screens of death lately (and it's password protected), the 360 I bought cheap from Ebay, and the TV is crap - bought it refurbished on eBay 2-3 years ago for a little over $200. The idiots must not have realized what my external HDD was, because they didn't take it - and it was hooked up to the laptop.

I like it a lot more than last year.

In 2011 you could throw for 500+ yards and 5+ TDs on any team in the country every game. It got to the point where it really wasn't even fun.
I was frustrated when the game 1st came out with WRs dropping balls when they were hit, my QB not being able to throw the ball as fast as I wanted and balls that got batted down. I'm still annoyed at the super LBs knocking down passes but that's about it.

Your QB shouldn't be able to flick his wrist while throwing off his back foot and hit a WR 50 yards down the field. The whole game is a lot smoother and plays better than in the past.

The only thing I've noticed about the run game is sometimes the lead blocker will miss the guy in front of him and go block the safety....but I haven't noticed major problems in the run game.
If your averaging 2.2 yards a carry than it has to be you brah.... not the game.

I my OLine was absolutley 100% dominated and embarresed by Ark State... Obviously all sports game have hidden code that randomizes the difficulty (without us seeing) but this was over the top. Washington should have a Top-25 running game in the country.

My passing game was bad, but not AS bad. The running game was just a complete joke... I tried to pull all of my NCAA skill together and focused on what I needed to do to start moving the chains.... NOTHING. It's what I call the "screw you code", its a hidden multiplyer that tries to make every game feel "different" that producers use. This year it's absolutely over the top. brb raping my OLine that is on average 15 overal rating points higher, ON EVERY SINGLE RUNNIGN PLAY.

im siding more and more with the CPU unfairly dominant line play. i won my last game, but twice on the goal line, for 5 of the 6 plays, all FIVE of their DL immediately beat my OL off the snap and tackled the RB.

and I know vaughn is a good player and is quite knowledgable of this game. if Polk (who is a stud in real life) can barely run the ball against Arkansas State, then either vaughn sucks (which he doesnt) or the game is bad.

Amid my furious rage, I turned off my Xbox while the results were uploading. The second after I turned it off, I realized I dun goof'd. I'll just have to super-sim and make sure I lose.

I had the most insanely unlucky game though. I muffed a punt which they recovered and later on in that drive they had a 3-goal on the 1 and Pardon threw to a guy on an out route that was clearly out of bounds, but they ended up booth reviewing it and called it a TD. Then with a minute left in the game down by 8, SMU had the ball on a 2nd-and-goal on the 2 and Pardon throws an INT to my MLB and I bring it down to their 40, but my DE tried jumping the snap and got called for offsides. Not to mention they returned a kick-off with 30 seconds left in the half (I didn't squib because I didn't want to give Pardon good field position as he was picking apart my D with surgical precision) :(

we were planning on doing one, but online franchise mode wasnt upgraded this year so most of us lost interest and would rather stick to offline franchise mode

Edit: I play on World Class and get atleast 5-8 fouls called against me a match. They never calls for me. Whenever I try to shoot from outside the box, the defenders block it easily. Help me:(

The fouls are always lopsided when playing against the AI, so dont worry about that. I'll just list some things that made me better.

1) Watch some real football games, it actually does help you see how you should work the ball up the field.
2) Try learning how to control your pace and work in and out of small spaces.
3) Learn to use the give and go passes.
4) Find a formation you like to use and stick to it and learn it.
5) Dont just try and push the ball up field, push it back and forth, side to side.

I win a lot vs CPU, but my biggest problem is keeping the ball in tight spaces. Always, always lose it. And I used to use sprint ALL the time, but now I don't as much and they still take it easily away from me.

Do you use R trigger (no stick movement) to shield ball? I use it a lot to keep the player in control of the ball, and shields away the defender.

so much insanity and confusion. it came down to a GW FG from his 3 yd line. I won 30-28, but it was beyond epic.

-I accidentally toggle into onside kick in the middle of the game, cant get out of it, accidentally kick it 5 yards and give him the ball on my 35
-my QB dives instead of slides, fumble at my 40 with a few mins left
-greek scores with 2 mins left to go up 28-27, i drive down and get to his 13 with 16 seconds left, he tries to freeze me. its 3rd down, i run to his 3. timeout with 3 seconds left, kick the FG


time to pass out!

•Custom Playbooks
With this Title Update the missing play issue that led to a number of problems when using Custom Playbooks has been fixed. Not only is the issue fixed, but you will not need to recreate your playbooks! Any existing playbook will have the fix applied, and you will be able to continue using that playbook without issue.

•Tendencies
As with the Custom Playbooks resolution, the fix to the issue of edited player tendencies changing will not negate any previously edited roster file. The fix will be applied to both those existing files, as well as any new roster file that is created.

If you are in a Dynasty or Online Dynasty you will not need to restart as long as your Dynasty is still in year one and you have not advanced past “Training Results” in the off-season. If you are before this point, the update will be applied to your existing Dynasty/Online Dynasty and the tendencies will be correct for all players going forward. If you are in year two and beyond, the tendency issue impact will be less and less as the players graduate/are cut from the rosters.

In addition to the tendencies issue, we have also included both the ability to edit height and weight for players, as well as the option to edit the rosters of CPU controlled teams. In an Online Dynasty the commissioner will have the ability to edit the rosters for other human controlled teams. These were both big requests from you in the community.

Finally, a bug was fixed with the profanity filter that was preventing many common names from being entered. Now, any name can be entered, for offline use. A profanity filter is applied to Online Dynasty when the Dynasty is created. If you prefer to opt out of this filter, you can set the Dynasty to Private and the profanity check will not run.

•Freezes/Crashes
A major focus for this Title Update was to address any freezes/crashes that were found. There were a number of these issues fixed in this Title Update including a crash that occurred when there were multiple TeamBuilder teams in an Online Dynasty, as well as a crash that occurred during the downloading of an Online Dynasty file.

•Gameplay
Increased the acceleration of QB’s on Speed Option plays.
Improved WR blocking, especially on option plays
Fixed an issue where defenders assigned to play the curl to flat/buzz zone did not engage immediately when the QB scrambles past the LOS.
Fixed an issue where safeties with inside deep ¼ zone would drop back instead of read-and-react on run plays.
Fixed an issue in Nickel Cover 3 where the flat zone defender didn’t move as the QB was running at them.
Fixed an issue with Double Outs from 4-2-5 Normal where the RLB wasn’t blocked properly vs. certain formations.

•Highlights
Fixed an issue that caused a blank photo to be uploaded leading to issues with other highlights being uploaded.

•Dynasty
Fixed an issue in Online Dynasty where injured players did not remain injured when the week advanced.
Fixed an issue where a player’s injury time was only reduced by one week when going from Conference Championship week to Bowl Season. Players will now be back for their Bowl game if they should be off of the IR when their bowl game is played.
Fixed an issue where coaches that changed jobs could get stuck in a state where they were still listed as coaching at their old school on the Players Leaving screen, leading to a Transfer Failed issue.
Fixed an issue that occasionally prevented Dynasties from advancing to the post season.
Fixed an issue with the schedule that prevented entering the Virginia Tech vs. Boston College game (fixed for both Dynasty and RTG).
Fixed an issue where recruiting related trophies/achievements were not unlocked properly if you signed an extension in that season.
Fixed an issue with Program Stability where the grade would drop from A+ to D+ in one season.
Fixed an issue with the Unlock All Promises PDLC not unlocking properly on the Dynasty website.
When viewing an Online Dynasty invite, added information to show what type of job can be selected by default.
Fixed an issue when in the off-season where player stats did not match up between the web and console.

•Road to Glory
Fixed an issue where CB’s could not audible after earning the ability to do so through Coach Trust.
Fixed an issue where HB’s could not flip the play after earning the ability to do so through Coach Trust.

•Online
Fixed an issue where player’s online stats were not displaying promptly on the Online Leaderboards.

•Week Advance Anywhere
