Wow, what a stacked lineup! Good to see some familiar names place well and win. Natural bodybuilding just keeps getting tougher!

I had three photographers assigned to the show. One backstage and two from up front. I am waiting for the pics.

Speaking of scores, I got my score sheet in the mail the other day from the Natural Connecticut show. There were 5 individual scores even though I thought there were more than 5 judges. Are those numbers the placing that each judge had me in?

Two of the judges were Test Judges, so their scores were not included.

Hey Rich,

How's the new judging system working so far (The 3 score system)? Or is it too early to tell? Are you going to be at the Mid-America show?

Hey Raphael,

So far, it is working out well. It makes the show a bit longer, but it has definitely helped in the decision making process. Its one more tool for the judges to use to make the right call.

Between the magazine and the new newspaper, I'm too committed here to go to Indiana. Its a shame because Dr. Joe puts on a first class show! I have to go to Italy in October for the NBFI Italian Championships, in between the US Cup and the Worlds here in NYC, so that will make the Fall pretty tight.

I would think the scoring is now easier for the judges - - more clear cut based on the rounds on what to look for. Hey if you want me to go to Italy in your place I can take that hassle off your shoulders. Ha!

It also helps competitors understand what they need to work on and why they placed where they did.

No Italy for you. Too much awesome food over there, too close to the Worlds I hope to see you at!

Yes makes sense. Symmetry, Muscle Mass, Conditioning -- easier to judge and good for the competitor.

Not sure on the Worlds yet. Going to decide after the Mid-America. My wife and I are looking to go to Italy in 2011. Italian food in Italy - a bodybuilders dream....HA!
