View Full Version : Question about food- 1 week from abs competition

I have an abs competition next Saturday and am trying to have my abs look as good as possible for pictures we are taking. 1st place wins $350 :). Anyhow, I have been taking 1 cheat meal off a week on Sunday night and this has worked well for me. I have dropped about 10lbs of fat and added muscle and tone in 2 months. I have been doing the p90x workouts plus a lot more abs workouts. My body fat percentage is 6% currently and I currently weigh 150lbs, I don't believe I want to go much lower as I am almost 5' 11". I basically eat calorie deficient throughout the week and give myself 1 night off a week on Sunday night (I do a feed from about 5:30pm till about 11:30pm, eat as much as I can). I was wondering if I should not do the feed this Sunday (as the following Saturday is competition) or if I should just stick to my routine as I have been losing fat with what I have been doing (I have heard there are physiological benefits to a feed, leptin levels increasing which is a hormone to reduce fat). My abs are looking great and I am getting cut up, but wondering if I would help at all by skipping Sunday feed. The nice thing about the feed is I get tons of energy for Monday's workout... I would be a bit nervous about my energy levels and weight dipping too low if I don't get my feed. Anyhow, any suggestions would be much appreciated. Also, any other tricks for the week before would be awesome.

flaming hot cheeto puffs. the puffyness absorbs fat and the hotness burns it.

aside from being lean all you can do is water/carb manipulation like a contest/photoshoot prep
