Gonna be a freshman this up-coming year. I play 2-guard mostly. I'm tall for my position but also a little slow and can't jump too high. Luckily, I'm smarterr than most of the guys who cover me. I have lots of work to do, but I have D-1 potential if I work hard enough. I have done very little weight-lifting (started last week), but I have a good genetics with lower body strength. I'll be following our team's weight lifting program.
Here are my current stats:
Age: 14
Height: 6'0
Weight: 158 lbs.
Squat: Haven't maxed out, but my last workout I did 165x4
Power Clean: 105x2
Bench: Pretty weak upper body, I did 115x2
Strengths: 3 Point Shooting, Fundamentals, Basketball IQ, Passing, Toughness
Weaknesses: Quickness, Vertical, Aggressiveness on Offense
I'll try to keep everybody updated.

Saturday, June 26.
I spent most of today at a basketball team camp watching the varsity team play (I didn't get to dress out). Was pretty motivating, I got to see the defending state champions play and one of my friends was playing with them. They won by 30ish.
When I got home, I spent an hour working on my footwork and shooting. I did about 30 minutes of plyometrics. Now I have some stretching to do.
Not a wasted day, but I didn't really do much.

Are you expecting to be on varsity as a freshman?

nah, our varsity is pretty deep and has a lot returning from a final 8 team that beat a team with 3 division 1 players.

Forgot to update it this week. Had a good week of workouts and we won our game by 12 against the team that will be our best competition most likely.
I'll try to keep updating this from now on.

After weightlifting, I got to practice with the varsity team. Everybody was really sore.
After the practice, we played clutch, a three point shooting game. I got 2nd out of 12 the first time (against the varsity guys) and 3rd out of 13 the second time. Was pretty cool.
Really good workout for me. My Squat is starting to get up there, next legs day I'm gonna get 200 lbs. I felt really explosive on my bench jumps, even after the lifting. My legs are really stiff right now.
