View Full Version : My first Bikini/Figure comp! Sep 18th & Oct 16th 2010!

Hey guys! I'm about 11-12 weeks out from my 1st comp!!!! Super excited but very worried about my glutes and hammies! I have very bad knees due to being a professional horse back rider for years! It is a lot of ear and tear on the knees, so it is very hard for me to do glute/ham/or thigh workouts..Squats and lounges hurt bad, along with the leg extension...it's hard but they have grown a little bit .

Right now I'm a 5'6" and at about 135lbs w/ a BF% around 20%..not to sure on that b/c I have to get it checked out soon.

My cardio is an 60- 90 mins at my THR of 155 and I do it 6X a week along with my normal weight lifting 6X a week.

I'm very worried about leaning out b/c I have never even been this lean befor! I come froma heavy family (except my dad) so I'm working against gems here..and thanks to my mom I do have cellulite altough it is getting a bit better! lol

I eat 6x a day about every 2.5 hours. i have about 1300-1500 cals, 80-120grams of crabs ( I cycle them ) about 150-170 grams of lean protein and i'm not to sure about the fat, but usaly not that much..How does everything sound so far?? LOL I will post pics once I hit 30 posts..the sit wont let me : (

My 1st show is for the USBF and if the hve bikini I'll do both bikini and figure as long as I can cross enter that is cool : )
and my next comp is Oct 16th for the INBF nd I'll do the same if they allow cross entering!!

I'm super excited but very never that I will look to flaby in the butt area! lol but then again this is my 1st year and I have allll winter to bulk up for 2011!!!!!

Are you using a coach? If not, I'd reccomend paying for some expert assitance since it's your first comp. If you're going to do it you should do it right! There's plenty of guys around and I reccomend some if you'd like.

Also - Bikini competitor eh? Pics plz. ;)

LOL! iI'm not leaned out yet! I do have a trainer/coach but I figured I will need all the help I can get!!

I'm just very worried about leaning out!!! I'm never even been this small befor! EEkkkk

Okay so my eats for today will be:

M1: 5 egg whites and 1 whole egg with 1/3 cup OATMEAL WITH 1tbsp natural PB

M2: 1oz whole grain pasta w/ 4 oz grilled chicken w/ some diced tomatoes

M3: 1oz whole grain pasta w/ 3.5 oz turkey meatballs (I make them clean) w/ some diced tomatoes

M4: 1 can light tuna in water w/ 1 cup of sauted veggies and 2 slices of whole grain bread

m5: 4 oz grilled chicken w/ 1 cup greens

m6: pro-shake post workout

my workout will be biceps, triceps, chest, delts and work on my inner thighs

75 mins of cardio at THR of 155 on the stairmaster, then ellpitcal and maybe end with some jogging to the treadmil : )

Okay so my cardio ended up being 45 mins stairmaster and 45 mins elliptical! keep my heart rate right where is should have been the WHOLE time!!! YAY!!! melt fat melt!!!

This morning my fiance had to get up at 5 so I woke up too and was at the gym by 5:45 to work out my legs a bit befor work..Was SUPER hungery so I ran to QuickCheck and grabed a Pro-Bar..some kind of Atkins diet pro-bar..Hate haviong to eat one, but I didn't have any meals planed yet and wouldn't have made it throght the workout w/ out some kind of food! lol
After work at 6:00 I'm headed back to the gym for my cardio...ot sure how long..maybe only 75 mins at my THR b/c my back is a lil sore..(I have bad nerve damage from when my horse threw me literaly threw a fence!)

eats for to day are:

Snake per AM workout: Pro-bar

M1: 1/3 cup oatmeal w/ 1 TBSP natural PB and 4 egg whites

M2: 1oz whole grian pasta w/ 4oz of grilled chickne and some (2TBSP if that)natural
tomatoe dressing

m3: 1 can of light tuna packed in water w/ 1 cup of sauteed veggies and 1 slice of Ezeckel 4:9 bread

m4: 3.5 oz turkey meatballs

M5 Pre PM cardio: pro-shake

m6: post PM cardio: 4oz grilled chickne w/ 1 cup greens!!
