no hate to Jay but 06 should have been Ronnie's ninth. They compared Ronnie not to Jay, but to his own previous showings which is stupid. He was only a little watery in prejudging but still looked better and owned. Yet in 2007 Cutler is a LOT worse looking than Victor but they give him the title. Ronnie should have won in 06.

they compared Ronnie to Jay and Jay won, simple
Jay had superior conditioning, better symmetry and similar mass for the most part not to mention his back shots were the best on stage for the first time ever

When someone says that Jays conditioning was better...Do they mean that his watery filled body was better or his back wrinkles?
Im sorry but Ronnie should have had his 9th win hands down if they are only comparing him to Jay. I seen the videos and the pictures and R.C wins. Did R.C look better than he did in the past? Nah...BUT he looked better than Jay thats for sure.

Coleman being a hit or miss in completely wrong... "04 huge stomach"...lol. He was seriously shredded:

"05 leg injury" wtf you are talking about... You only wanted to make an argument for the sake of it so you had to nitpick. Ronnie 2005 = better than anybody before and after him (except Coleman himself).
Coleman has never been a hit or miss. At his worst during the reign, he still was the best conditioned on stage.

Ronnie is clearly winning in every aspect except the lat spread and perhaps the back double bi. Something like a symmetry issue in his lat should not really have been enough for him to lose to Jay. If people lost out on titles over a single symmetry issue, Dorian would not have won with a torn bicep.
PS: Ronnie's legs are truly incredible in those shots. His sweep is the best sweep in the history of bbing.

Wow@European show pictures I have never seen them, thanks for posting them. Ronnie doesnt look nearly as bad from the back in those European shows. Whoever is saying Ronnie wasn't that bad symmetry wise with the lat and tricep issue are being delusional, this is coming from a huge Ronnie fan. Though I admit I remember seeing the after pics in 2006 right after the contest and always remembering them to be worse than that(not as bad as I thought lol).
Ron wins all front shots, and the thickness in sideshots are incredible compared to jay, and jay is looking soft in strange places as usual so he seem to be less conditioned than ron, even tho ron missed the mark.
Imo ron > jay from these pics.

Ronnie said after 2006 Olympia that he lost because he was black (srs, I was at one of the Grand Prix in the audience), he was holding some grudges back then so I don't put too much faith in his statements at that time.

It seems like all the competitors knew what was up. Ronnie was the 8 time reigning Mr Olympia, but everyone was chasing Jay around the stage like he was the standard bearer - Ronnie included. It's a crazy scene when you think about it. Who tipped them off to the judges scorecards?
Toward the end of the posedown, Ronnie looked totally frustrated. Like he knew that no matter what he did, he was not going to make history that night and win a 9th Mr O. I even heard a rumor that he had a mini-meltdown backstage and Lee Haney had to calm him down and convince him to go out there and take the loss with class.

Once Jay's back beat out Ronnie's, it was over.
Once HALF of Jays back beat HALF of Ronnie's. Ronnie should have won in 06, I mean come on Dorian won with missing bodyparts. Ronnie's back was injured and he tried to hide it in his rear lat spread, but that made it look like his back was smaller. Had he extended it, you would of seen the lat more. And his tri didn't help. Still I see it as:
06-Ronnie
07-Vic
08-Dex
09-Jay
Vic had Jay beat, Dex beat him straight up and Jay destroyed them in 09.
