I've been on 10-20 grams of carbs since sunday the 13th (carbs from natural peanut butter and carrots)

Should I start carb loading on friday or saturday?

No one can answer that since no one has worked with you. Everyone reacts differently but most likely you can handle a lot more carbs than you think since you are so depleted. You should have planned this already though.

My show is Saturday and I'm starting tomorrow(Thursday). I'm doing 605 grams of carbs tomorrow spread over 10 meals, probably again on Friday too depending on how I look. I expect I'll need way more to completely fill out but I want to be safe and rather come in a bit flat since I'm sure I'll do well either way and don't want to risk anything.

I've been carb depleting too. Feels bad man amirite?

Thanks brah that has helped me out

Feels very bad man, all I can think about is food, I've left everything far too late, not even got a posing routine yet

Hey man, I might go with that then

I've been taking a bit of laynes prep advice on board, all with a grain of salt cause I'm too lazy to go into mega details

Brah while you are here I have a couple questions, do family have to pay for tickets, why is there a day show and a night show?

I wouldn't bother with a mega carb load, if you don't know what you're doing it could do more harm that good..

Anyone who needs a seat needs to pay, family kids etc.. Morning show is symettry and mandatories/call outs with other competitors and the night show is your individual routine which isn't judged in alot of feds but IS in the BNBF..

Alright I wont do a massive one, was thinking around 250-300 carbs

How about if they stand lul wat

Fuk, my mum don't want to be there all day, looks like i'm getting the train up by myself looking, brown as fuk

I'm so done over, cant back out now though, spent so much money and put in so much effort for this comp (apart from preparing etc)

Just fight it out for a bit more and you'll be glad you did.

I'm actually only 1.5 weeks out and am hating life right now (lol), and feeling the same way you are. Let's just tough it out for a little bit longer :)

Everything would be ok if i was prepared man

I still need to book someone to apply my tan
posing routine (got the music sorted)
I have no idea what i'm going to eat in the next few days and need to sort out Marcos

Only good thing is I've finished all my workouts prior to contest, and I'm just about lean enough to hit the stage

Depends, you could front load this week then back off thurs night/friday/saturday and then load up sunday morning a few hours before the show. Or you could deplete all week and start your load thurs night.

Don't worry about the routine. I haven't practiced mine either. I have it in my head and the song but I'm kind of winging it. It's not judged so focus more on mandatories for pre judging. For your routine just do the mandatories to some music. Boring but it works.

Yes, family has to pay to get into AM (prejudging) and PM (Finals). It seems you are not quite ready for this:"no plan for carb up", "too lazy to go into details" "almost lean enough" "not practiced", scheduled tan, no hotel, etc". These are the things that should have been taken care of weeks ago so you are not stressed out about anything. You should glide into the last week with no questions or worries about anything.

Agreed. Leaving all that til the last minute almost assures that you will **** something up or forget something. That's why they call it contest PREP, because you prepare for the show in every way possible. If it was just dieting it'd simply be contest diet and nothing else to it. It's already stressful enough having to get up on stage and compete after weeks of dieting, the last thing you need is more crap on your mind to stress you out even further.

Got my tan done and it looks so bad, takes away the definition and is really uneven (dry skin apparently)

I feel really bad about the whole thing now, feel like throwing in the towel tbh

You aren't close to dark enough.

Don't quit. This is what happens when you "compete for the lulz" like you said originally. It takes a lot of planning and you can't expect to guess on everything last minute and have it work perfectly. You will learn for next time.

Ya but I went to every possible length to be prepared. I had 4 coaches helping me, I met with them for posing practice, for them to check my progress on the diet and tweak things, i posed for an hour a night at home, made sure my coaches would be there to help me with my tan. Even though I only had 2 weeks, I made sure nothing would be left to chance or forgotten the day of the show. That's my point, I did more in the 2 weeks than he did with his entire prep.

Trust me, the last week plays GAMES on your MIND man. I just experienced it myself on Wednesday.. Felt like I was going to look terrible and feeling bad. It's now the day before my competition and I now feel confident and as if nothing could stop me.

Don't stop now!

open your hands up during transitions.. it will look alot better, and remember to squeeze from the legs up when you pose

Thanks man, you should place well

My tan looks so bad because I shaved right before it... ended up irritating my skin with rashes and cut etc, yet another mistake lol

I really have been a bit naive to the whole competing thing, I've learnt alot though and will be fully prepared for when I next compete

Alright thanks for the tip man, I had only planned the first 15 seconds and made the rest up lol

I was working on my mandatory poses yesterday, and I didn't look too bad under artificial lighting

Thanks man but theres no chance in that, just being realistic, you get judged on your posing routine and I dont even have one workout out

I just took a shower and now i'm back to square 1...

Do you have dream tan? What are you using? IF you can get a hold of some dream tan, start putting on multiple coats. The key is to REALLY, REALLY work it into the skin. I actually slap it into the skin, almost like your trying to pack the pores or something. You should slap it in to so hard that your skin turns red. If youre doing it correctly you wont lose definition and you will be darker than most colored people. When you think you look REALLY dark and almost ridiculous.......add another coat.

Nope, I'm screwed, I already owe my brother money for getting my tan done and and dont have any money left

Only have about half a bottle of my jan tana tan left, I really cant be bothered with it all now

Don't worry about the routine too much...judging is done at AM prejudging. Results are tabulated before you ever hit the stage at PM show, that's mainly just for fun and family to see you onstage.

i know its just the comp diet making u behave like this but man dont u dare give up this close, you've done all this hard work and you definitely look ready to get on stage and put on a show. Just get your mom, neighbour or anyone to put another few tan coats on and go do your comp and enjoy it!
