Yup. Capital City is July 17th so I'm talking with 3DMJ on whether or not I should do the pro division in that show or go for the am. If I do the Amateur I could win my IFPA card as well which sounds nice to me.

Great job and representing for the tall people
Looks like you had a great support group with you, which had to help with an experience like this.
You really dialed in everything perfectly. You held on to your muscle mass while shredding all the excess water (you didn't have any fat to shred. lol)
I sure wish someone had gotten a rear double bicep pic because that's your best pose. But all the pics look incredible. Glad it was such a great experience for you.

new photos looking awesome dude.
what was the feedback from the judges?
imo. I think more development on the hamstrings and the Vastus lateralis of the quadriceps will make you even better :)

Pretty much none. Just applied dream tan #2 the night before, slept in it, then touched it up in the morning and applied it to my face, hands and feet.

Feedback from the judges was only positive comments. I know I need bigger quads, lats and upper chest. My hammies could use a tad more work too but they are in a good enough position for now compared to other lacking bodyparts.

Seriously, the best part was that Robbie looked like he had done this many times before. So poised, and in control the whole time. Dude was simply built for this ****!
Biggest Natural show in Cali coming up, and he is going to leave a dent.

LOL you don't want to know but I'll tell you. 2.5 weeks out and Berto actually had me eating more than I had been to fill me out for the show. He lowered my fats and protein a little bit but upped my carbs tremendously. I was probably 6-7% when I started my diet.

I hadn't really been dieting. I just kept it very lean year round. I think I started cleaning up my diet maybe 2 weeks prior to hooking up w/ 3DMJ because I began contemplating doing a contest so I figured if I was going to I should stop snacking on whatever crap I had been eating. But at the highest I was never over 8-9%.

So you dieted for a total of under a month? Damn.
It's gotta be hard putting on size when staying that lean no? I mean if you're within a few pounds of stage weight all year long then how are you going to make improvements?

This is what I'm going to change somewhat this offseason. Since I never competed I never cared to get into a bulked state. I liked staying lean year round and I let the hard work and time put into lifting put on some size slowly. Once I'm done competing this year I'm going to talk with Berto and Eric about what I can do to stay somewhat lean but take in enough food to be able to make improvements. I think if I can stay within 15lbs of stage weight I'll be fine. I've finally started understanding my diet much better and I think this offseason is going to be full of tremendous gains. I had capped myself previously with low carbs and higher fats to stay lean year round but I was very flat as well.

Too bad the striations aren't as visible as in your no tan pictures.

I think 15lbs is a good goal, and I have a feeling some food and some higher frequency leg training will be in order for you my friend and you'll make some great gains
