agreed. i played over at my brah's house the other day and went with the sandy ravage SPAS class with host advtage and both games of regular TDM had over 40 kills and no more than 6 deaths each time.

very few console games have dedicated servers. its difficult.

and client-side hosting is much easier to do on a console. considering a console doesnt do anything else other then play games (at one time), the connections can be pretty good.

i would love dedicated servers for consoles, tho. but how would you do them? like pc servers where players can purchase server room and pay per month? or have MS or the game dev set up dedicated servers you play off of?

in the case of the latter, just think of the pain of having the servers go down. atleast with client-side hosting, you dont have that issue.

Nothing makes me rage more when I'm playing TDM than having my AC-130 in the air, unlocking my EMP, and not being able to use it because one of my phaggot teammates decided to noob tube and get a triple kill to end the match.

Nerve used to be the leader of CON/GODS and all those clans with the same kids in them so ive played with most of the kids i listed since cod2. Hecz came towards the end of cod2 when it was being fazed out for the last time.

I put hardline on it and it works decent but those last 2 classes are pretty much secondary dominant, which means I use the SPAS more than the UMP, and I didnt like the SPAS without stopping power

Im a run and gunner and the turtle beach helped me. When I have to reload I hide behind a corner. Headset tells me if anyone is coming for me while i reload. Also works when ppl spawn behind you.

i love that level. I have played that over and over again just cuz it's fun.

the moment you hear that deep tune that signals that a Jug's on his way, you just kill whomever you have around you, and you camp with the sniper. Be ready, have some cover, and have a good field of view in all directions.

Initially, I would hide on the initial airplane and take out the 1 or 2 dudes who were close using an AR, and then I'd immediately switch to the sniper and start headshotting him from as far away as possible. That's the key. Headshot the sumbitch with the sniper.

Go through to the halfway point, kill EVERYBODY before you get the computer thing downloaded, and then go up to the top of the inside of the airplane shell and take out a few more dudes so that you can jump down and get into the airplane shell to the left. You can drop down inside that thing pretty well and keep yourself mostly covered, pick everyone off, and then once you hear the music, duck down, switch to sniper, reload and wait.

Yeah just finished playing a game of demo on Vacant, bunch of randoms on my team against a party, I was shocked that my teammates were actually trying hard to win, not to mention none of us had mics, and there was only one commando phaggot on the other team, we ended up winning in OT.

The biggest surprise was there was no one using noobtubes or any high explosives with danger close, Vacant is the perfect map for that shiit. If every game were like that, I would never put down this game

i love that level. I have played that over and over again just cuz it's fun.

the moment you hear that deep tune that signals that a Jug's on his way, you just kill whomever you have around you, and you camp with the sniper. Be ready, have some cover, and have a good field of view in all directions.

Initially, I would hide on the initial airplane and take out the 1 or 2 dudes who were close using an AR, and then I'd immediately switch to the sniper and start headshotting him from as far away as possible. That's the key. Headshot the sumbitch with the sniper.

Go through to the halfway point, kill EVERYBODY before you get the computer thing downloaded, and then go up to the top of the inside of the airplane shell and take out a few more dudes so that you can jump down and get into the airplane shell to the left. You can drop down inside that thing pretty well and keep yourself mostly covered, pick everyone off, and then once you hear the music, duck down, switch to sniper, reload and wait.





no kidding. I swear, everytime I play on Favela, I get a painfully annoying story of how stupid and broke commando is.

I actually got a damn hitmarker with the Barrett on a commando lunger the other day.



I stopped playing on my 42" rear projection TV (shut up, it's old) and started playing on my 25" computer monitor that does 1920x1080

I play on my 52 DLP I get 1080i from it, habe moooo problem. It's about 7 years old.

if you load a full game into whatever video editing software youre using, you can trim away the excess video, and keep just the clip you need.

im pretty sure once you save the file, you dont have to worry about the full game video. unless of course you want to edit any more from that game.

When I did that, I put the clips in a file, then deleted game. When I went to play clip, it said it needed the original file..?

Have had so many satisfying last second wins in demo it's insane. some straight up sweet ninja defuses or plants and ****, demo games are so intense

edit: brad, when you save your profect file in whatever editing program you're using, it just saves what you've "edited" so far, it doesn't save your video clips what so ever. when you trim **** down, you can't delete the original file until you've rendered out the video from your program. what I do is just keep all my clips in a folder until I've got them all, edit, render it out, then delete all the clips.
you pretty much have to keep them until you finish the whole thing
if you have HUGE file sizes from the original clips, only thing you can do really is trim your clip, and render it out alone so it's just your clip you want, then delete the originals

Luttrell barely survived after being blown off a cliff by an RPG.

An CH-47 Chinook helicopter was hastily dispatched upon receiving Lt. Luttrell was the only survivor of the SEAL team. Badly wounded, he managed to walk and crawl seven miles to evade capture, during which he killed six more Taliban fighters. so I got my PS3 hooked up a few days ago finally, just after my $1/1 month xbox live sub ran out.

A few things I have observed:

1) The controllers are really weird to get used to. Biggest problem I have is that the right thumbstick is too sensitive to pushing, so I keep knifing at the air.

2) I don't see the whole "xbox > PS3" competition thing, to be quite honest. I keep running into monster f$#@ing quickscopers on the PS3, more often than on xbox. For every level 17 n00b who can't figure things out, I get owned by some sick scopers. Really strange phenomena. I'm hoping it lightens up, because they skeer me.

3) Host migration on the PS3 is worse than on the xbox

4) I consistently get into games where I am <80 ping on ps3, not so much so on xbox

5) I was missing the boat on the FAMAS. Christ almighty this thing is a beast, no matter what attachment. The 2 things that surprise me most about it are that a) it has a solid hipfire reticle and is a CQB monster. I have gone h2h with SMGs and I'm winning because I'm getting the kill with that initial 3RB and b) FAMAS + ACOG + Wasteland = beastmode. Unreal how accurate this thing is with the ACOG.

6) Commando sucks just as badly on PS3 as it does on xbox

7) So does Painkiller. I put 2 $#@ing Barrett 50-cal rounds into a painkiller guy and he STILL whupped my ass!!!

8) Of all the things I lost when starting over, I miss ninja pro the most, and it's not even close

im not coming with a TON of experience here...but i have used bth the M16 and famas, i got to say the famas is lightweight compared to the m16. sure you lose a little on the accuracy but the damage bonus is much better. will be trying out the ACOG with it

Got 250 headshots with my Spas earlier, I dont think i'll reach 500 before I put the game down...

Afterwards I got my AC130 and called it in, got a few kills but as soon as it ends the killcam pops up for me....wtf?? Watch it and a guy with coldblooded found me, stood behind and butt-fugged then shot me in the head without even leaving his number or promising that he'd call me again :(

im not coming with a TON of experience here...but i have used bth the M16 and famas, i got to say the famas is lightweight compared to the m16. sure you lose a little on the accuracy but the damage bonus is much better. will be trying out the ACOG with it

last night in a private misc match with like 10+ brahs we are going quickscoping (intervention) and throwing knives only. i setup my intervention with the ACOG scope and the normal perks.....halfway thru the game some phag starts complaining about me using the acog vs any other scope. Who is wrong here?
1: no limitations where made on attachments
2: is a quickscope not a quickscope if a ACOG is used?

seems ridiculous to me. anyone else could have used the same if they wanted. its just my personal preference for quick scoping. and for the record i wasnt even doing great...came in 3rd.

last night in a private misc match with like 10+ brahs we are going quickscoping (intervention) and throwing knives only. i setup my intervention with the regular scope the Spas and the normal perks.....halfway thru the game I pull out my Spas and start owning people & then I switched back to my intervention. Who is wrong here?
1: no limitations where made that I couldn't make a few kills with my Spas
2: is a Spas not a Kill if a Spas is used?

seems ridiculous to me. anyone else could have used the same if they wanted. its just my personal preference for quick scoping. and for the record i wasnt even doing great...came in last.

guys, just got a plasma 720p. I set the cord to hd and settings to 720p. Got everything working. But gameplay is little weird. Seems like my accuracy is off and I am slow to react to shooting people. Any have problems when switching to plasma tv? Got above 2 k/d and all my games on the new tv have been about 1-1.5 k/d. It's starting to suck.

does your connection have a bigger effect on your sniping than say for someone using a AR? i did pretty good earlier but got my but kicked a bit tonight....i would have my crosshairs right on the bastard and would miss,,,WTF MAN! never had so many hitmarkers either
