wtf is up with boosters in almost every FFA game. Its kinda tiring to hunt them if you have to deal with them so much. I only play FFA to unlock weapons' attachments coz i think its the best mode to do it in.

Finally got my 10 kills w/o killstreaks a few days ago playing barebones. I never tried it outside of barebones so it felt pretty good, especially since I had been playing like complete and utter crap for like 10 games before that.

Nice, yea Austin is pretty badass. I might be moving though for a job though, but I'd rather stay here.

And yea I believe it's the PS90 they sell (semi-auto), basically the same gun. You can buy assault rifles everywhere here, it's pretty damn cool. I've got a few buddies w/ AR-15's that are badass.

There are tons of guntrader websites for Texas too that have all the available firearms.

My best on FFA was 30-2, got it on scrapyard of all maps and I think it was my chopper gunner that did a lot of the damage. Rarely play FFA though, prefer dom with some teammates.

My problem is I dont aim for headshots, most of the time Im aiming down for some stupid reason and I start shooting at their legs, kick brings it up. I dont get headshots unless the recoil gets me one. Need about 120 more for the Tar...and this is using it since 2nd prestige.

The SCAR-H with extended mags should be illegal, the only flaw with that rifle is the short clip, but throwing on EM makes it a flawless weapon in my opinion

yeah, I managed to get a 5 KS on Rust FFA recently, made it into the big pipe in the corner without being seen somehow, got a double and then sat in there taking potshots while my
harrier and then pavelow took me to 30 in less than 2 minutes. Total gametime was maybe 3 minutes at most.

Yea I never aim directly for headshots either. I'm more of the 'run around like a dickhead' type of player so I just shoot them in the torso most of the time.

Domination is good for kills. I'd suggest demolition though. When you're on defense and down to the last bomb site.... demolition is great for huge amounts of kills. As is headquarters. Yes, I play for objectives. But when playing for objectives means keeping enemy players the **** out of your bomb site....

Horizontal, I have the 280 gig (or something like that... over 200 gigs) MW2 edition and have never had a problem. I put in Fallout 3 and it worked just fine so it's definitely the disk.

After 40 days of playing I guess I can't say I'm shocked, but it's still ghey. I'll probably just grab the disc from one of my friends that never play they game. Still super gay (and I tried all the tricks and all that crap).

I'm done playing this game for awhile. Getting sick of camping OMA noob tubers and onlyusemeblade phags. One TDM on scrap yard, of the 9 on the other team 3 were tubing, 4 were knifing, and the other 2 were legitly playing. Half the weapons on the ground were some pistol/tac knife. Ok on scrap yard knifing works decently because it's so close. Next TDM on rundown, within 10 seconds, a knifer runs across the map and lunges over my claymore and half a clip of a PP2000. Team was oblivious as usual. I've actually had resort to tactically camping when I'm playing with randoms since they're so stupid and let half the other team run through them.

lol just in 3 games with a booster in domination. First game I find them and ruin them. Next one Brad (jawnzer) join in and I message him to tell him theres boosters. I convince the guy on my team to let me help and i'll be the lookout, meanwhile I just message brad their location and he comes and kills them. Even the times I killed his partner I said it was a mistake and he believed me. Went on for 3 games will we finally left. Got him once while he was getting close in his chopper gunner too, his buddy tried to stop me but in dom teammates cant hurt each other so nuts to him.....i was raging too because the other team kept killing me before I could get to him while he was CGing.

just burn it to the harddrive. thats what i had to do with mine a while back. then you can just play it from the hard drive. you still need the disc in the tray, but it doesnt read from the cd, it just needs to recognize youre not pirating the game or anything.

Tar is my "fall-back" weapon. No matter what, I do well with the Tar. Not connection-dependent at all for me. For me, it's the SPAs. I'm either Sandy Ravage with it or I'm Cri1t1kal with it, based purely on my connection. I'll "miss" a shot with it when I walk up right behind them and they don't know I'm there.

Tar is easy for me.

I used OMA/DC/tube to get DC Pro for the 10k. It's kinda silly, really. There is a VERY slight bit of skill, judgement-wise to determine arc and to get the grenade into a window across the map.

however, it's too easy to get multi-kills just by lobbing tubes left and right.

true from distance aiming through a window...but when a tuber shows up infront of you its just a matter of pressing the trigger...or even from distance if your in the open its a simple kill...if not more...

Almost to 70 2nd prestige, trying to finish off a few more challenges. Been working the RPD and M4 hard, forgot how much I like both those guns.

Ok, so someone teach me how to emplace a damn sentry gun. When I place them, this is what happens

1) It "lives" for the entire time, but gets me no kills
2) It gets knifed almost immediately, and gets me no kills
3) I run around trying to figure out where to emplace it, and just as I emplace it I get killed and it gets knifed

Place it on choke points where they are hard to get at from behind but aim over a wide view. The Helipad on Highrise for example. Place it facing their spawn, throw a claymore behind it to keep it safe from behind and let it go to work.

The bridge balcony overlooking A flag on one side and B on another in rundown is another good one. It can see B flag+the bridge and is easy to protect.

Dont put it directly in front of what you want it to cover, put it off to the side, that way its harder to kill, out of the way to let baddies run into its line and easier to protect. Also dont run around with it deployed and yellow all around the map. Go to where you want then deploy it.

On wasteland put it in the entrance of the bunker, Skidrow at the end of the long hallway by B flag if you dont have it or if you do put it overlooking C on the bottom floor, scrapyard in the windows at either side of the map, underpass on the balcony overlooking B (one where you have to climb the ladder), If you can put it up high then its even better.

Took me a while to get it down, sometimes it will just get killed right away, they are hit or miss big time. Just experiment and remember to always have fun and play fair :)

I will only use it on maps where there is a rooftop, or balcony that gives you a advantage.
Ie. Sub base, on the double roof facing into main tunnel. Or on the opposite side facing b entrance.

It honestly all depends on what game mode and map you're playing. Demo sentry guns are rape, or select times in dominiation is it rape. You just havce to play around with spots on diff mapsm they're not that hard to get, so if you loose one, not that hard to get back.

probably alot of intermittent traffic on your connection. you have planty of bandwidth there and your ping time is decent. try the test at different times during the day and when other people are using the connection....you may get alot different results

I don't see how you people get 87,000 nukes. 1/2 the time I play demolition or domination I'll be on a 22 or 23 kill streak and either get killed from some phaggy spawn or my team will decide to capture every point and we'll win before I get to 25 :(

That's where your going wrong. Imo team deathmatch is the best for getting nukes, I just run and gun spawn******* everyone lol. and it doesn't hurt to have the chopper gunner either.

were you playing against a bunch of noobs? the matchmaking is horrible on ps3. i got caught in one game with 4 new(ish) people all under lvl 50. we lost like 7500-2700. i went 10-10 another dude went 10-23, then 7-15, then 2-9, then 0-18. i remember it bc i was so pissed off and i was chewing out all the guys on my team. they were ridiculous, with enemy air support theyd just run around and get killed like nuttin. i spent 1/2 the game just taking out choppers. and the other team wasnt a clan or party and they were all 2nd prestige and up. was raging that day

haha i haven't played barebones in a while but i joined a lobby tonight. what do ya know it was entirely boosters in the game. needless to say i was distraught when i realized i didnt have my RPG or semtex on any class..... but my fears where quickly calmed as i ran around tubing them down one set after another. they where pissed but i just kept quiet on the mic the whole game and listen to them rage. so after they took the time to type out some lovely fan mail i messaged back laughing my ass off. felt so good man...

Like I said, i played on my brother's 5th prestige account and I joined 6+ different lobbies. I even had to get adjusted to the new sensitivity and still whooped.

i havnt been playing barebones at all lately cause i started to miss clappin cheeks with my KS. first BB game i get into, i started late and still ended up winning with 1450 to the next guys 1050 points. next lobby was the boosters. so that was alot of fun and i should be getting back on that train
