Gran Turismo 5's Collector's Edition Climbs The Amazon Charts

With a firm release date set for PlayStation's most successful franchise, it looks as if "hardcore" fans of Gran Turismo will be wasting no time with the normal copy of the highly anticipated title.

According to Amazon.com's Best Seller's list, Gran Turismo 5: Collector's Edition has been steadily climbing the charts and has peaked at the 23rd spot and rising at the time of this article's publication. Gamers will have to wait until November 2nd to get their hands on the game in America, which is still four months away, but those who are aware of its release date seem to have no problem putting money down for the Collector's Edition, despite the $99.99 price tag.

The Collector's Edition of Gran Turismo 5 will include the following (according to Amazon):

Sup PS3 brahs, havent posted ina while....been busy meeting new Brazilian chicks. Not srs....but I DID meet a new Columbian chick thatd been workin out at my gym for the last year or so, that Id never spoke to her cause I was already in a relationship with my ex. She kinda looks like Shakira, but with a bigger ass. Been out once already, did not smash....but much groping and fondlin was involved. I'll get it soon, talk to her too much already not too.

Anyway, far as PS3 goes.....been playing that new Singularity game. Game is actually pretty good IMO, reminds you alot of Bioshock. IGN gave it a shiity rating, think like a 6 or 6.5 or something, but they just smokin that shiit. Game is about a solid 8, definately worth a rent especially if you liked Bioshock 1/2 at all. Have only been playing SP though, not many people even play the MP so no real point.

Yeah she's fun, but tsubaki's dmg output is rediculously low. Huge payoff if you know her crossups well and know how to mixup well.

Not like anyone plays, lol. But I see player's have found a way to become unlockable with full auto aimer in RDR. Just played some Freeroam. I try using normal and expert aim mostly. As casual gets really boring. So once I noticed this low level player could take 4 and 5 shots with a Buffalo rifle and I would die in a single shot. I was like ok, what's going on here. So I switched to casual for auto aim. What I found out was I couldn't even lock on to this guy at all. In fact two other players came over and he was killing 2 out of 3 of us more then not. I've noticed this before with other player's that just seemed god like with their scores. This player had a mic and so did I. I was asking him about me not being able to lock on to him at all. All he would do is trash talk. Just so burnt out on online.

btw, I'm level 50... him 13.

I read the developers wanted to make him come across as more of a superhero and less dark and generic as they felt he was in the last game. I felt the ambiguity worked the last time bc he could be good o evil depending on how you played. Hard to see this new guy as evil

Well its complicated. Most people wont be too fond of it unless you're a serious fan.
I love it though.

But there's a certain lag between timing so you have to adjust to that. Secondly the serious pvp happens in a specific area. Any other place and youre going by chance that you'll find Someone.

The fighting itself is the biggest reward. Other than that you get souls if you kill black or blue phantoms. And if you kill the host as an invader then You gain your body form back.

Secondly if you're invading be prepared to be double teamed and dirty tactics (except if you're in 4.1 then those chances are reduced)


Invading makes it much harder to win but you get more action like that.

I think? Not like theres any other good FPS games out to play online. Killzone 2 isn't very good IMO. Headshots should be headshots..I find it extremely annoying when people don't die after I pop em in the face.

Skill? Well.. the one thing I wish the game had was a death counter because mine would be through the roof. NG wasn't really that much of a challenge, stick with long range and magic when possible, most things just want to die.

NG+ wasn't too bad... Maneater being the only exception. He'd cough on me and i'd die. Raged fairly hard until I brought Warding to the fight. Meant I could now take three hits instead of 1, so didn't have any problems since. Just gotta get through killing 1.5 boss, and i'll be done through that play through.

If you do/repeat an area enough times, you memorize where every enemy is. Makes not dying a fairly easy, extremely painful process.

i definitely plan on going back to clean up trophies, but not sure if im up for the farm part of it....

i've seen the tactic used to kill those turtles. just seems too time consuming, id fall asleep with controller in hand.

What I did man was I set up my PC monitor to my PS3. The monitor has an HDMI, so it worked out nicely. I put the monitor next to my actual TV and killed turtles while I watched movies or listened to some tunes

If I were to go back and redo it. . .I never would have picked up the game


And Batman: AA is next for me. Just three more games to clean up plats in!

I wish I could get the last 3-4 trophies for MW2 spec ops. The few nights I've tried with someone online we'd just get slaughtered and raged. I've got lots of other trophies to earn for other games.. just the fact of the matter of making that game complete.

I take back about what I said about Singularity being good. Game is fukkin gay. Got to a point in the game where its literally impossible to pass in the predicament Im in, playing on hard anyway. U get attacked by 100 bugs, trying to open some sewer door, which kill you in two hits. But when you try to heal yourself, the animation to heal takes so damn long, you die WHILE you are healing!! SHIIT IS FUKKIN GAY!!!! I'd literally have to start the game again to get more TMD ammo, just to get past that point in the game, pissed me off so much I sent it back. But what makes it extra gay, the game wasnt even hard until I got to this one part! I havent been stumped at any part of a game that long since that down flight back to Hades in GoW3, and have never been TOTALLY stomped . But I knew that wasnt impossible, just frustrating.....THIS shiit is impossible! Yes mad. I need a new game to play now, probably gonna go back to Uncharted 2 or something till Fallout: New Vegas comes out.

I need to get back to playing some games, haven't been on in days. The fan in my PS3 seems like its been getting even louder and I haven't had A/C and with the recent heat we've been getting in New England I've been nervous that I'll get YLOD, only been using it to watch movies lately

I just realized something about sharing games/maps/dlc... you can only give away to 5 different people. Once that person holds your account on their PS3 then he can download all he wants but you can't give it to another person.

I tried giving my friend the map packs today and it reads that I already have 5 accounts up.. 2 from miscers and 2 from my friends at home and 1 for myself. This sucks man.

I've got the same problem, only I'm in NYC. When it's really hot, my place can't handle an A/C and my PS3 running at the same time. My PS3's fan always blasts when I'm playing a game (don't have that problem with just DVDs) though. I was hoping to finish up Red Dead before I head out of town next week, but it doesn't look like that's gonna happen. And I'm so close, dammit!

Sharing is easy. All you have to do is create a new user and buy the new map packs. Then give your email and pw to a friend and have them redownload the map packs onto their systems up to 4 other ppls. 15 bucks split 5 different ways = 3 bucks each.

I screwed up yesterday cus I bought the map packs on my main account and you can only share with 4 ppl and I already shared with 2 miscers, and 2 friends from home. If I had created a new user I could have gave you and fred the maps since my friends basically paid for it.

If you dl from ur main account, yeah you can share up to 4 peeps (or 5). Once your select your 4 peeps they're the only 4 peeps who can dl ever. Lets say you wanted to share with another completely different 4 peeps from ur main account... you won't be able to, however; if u used a sub account then you can share again with 4 other peeps. sounds confusing but easiest thing is to use different accounts.

Don't rush through. Take your time around corners and areas you haven't explored yet. Don't engage multiple enemies at once - try to break them up. Always keep that shield up.

I've been raging hard on NG+ plying Demons Souls, but in the process I've found a way to not lose any souls even when I die. It first happened after the armored spider fight; I was chasing the crystal lizard and got killed by the miners in the narrow tunnel. It also happened about five times afterwards in the stone shrine; I was defeated by the Adjucator because I was playing sloppy (and I'm level 72, which I think must be low) and I just died several time on my way back to the boss, but I did not lose a single a soul no matter how many times I died. I don't know if it's well known....

All I do is completely turn off my PS3 the second a killing blow lands on me, and once I turn it back on, I'm alive, with all my souls. And, even after all those deaths, the 100,000 souls that was left behind after being killed by the Adjucator was still there once I finally got to him.

The first couple of times doing it, it was out of pure frustration. Then, when I thought I was onto something, I recreated the glitch purposely. This would ruin the game for most people......

If you were yo google cheats or something along those lines. That one is listed out there as a way to save souls. It says to push the controller PS button and quit game very fast just as death happens. So you quit the game before the games auto save takes place and restarts you with lost souls.

Enjoy this colorless demon's soul farming/duping technique

Get a black world tendency and go to the mob that drops the colorless demon soul. Get him down to one hit left and search for a pvp world to invade. At the second flash of "invading world," land the final blow and pick up the stone. You will enter the pvp world with the stone you picked up and when you leave, the mob will respawn and you will be right back where u left off. Rinse and repeat! Enjoy your buff gear!

Sort of a mindless shooter game with RPG elements - felt like Bioshock 1.5 more than anything. It doesn't hold a handle to it's predecessor System Shock, but it's worth playing for $8. You can sell it for $15 easily and make a little scratch after beating it.

RDR is at least 5x better than any GTA game....even though it is made by the same people with and the same TYPE of game. Cant really explain it, but is much much better.

Yeah it did, I wonder how the story of 3 is gonna be. You KNOW they'll make a part 3. I need a new game to play. After you beat the main story on RDR, the MP is just meh. And Im not a trophy whore so dont really care about going back to get platinums. If I can force myself to look past those bootleg graphics on Dragon Age, I might be able to get into that one. When I rented it the 1st time I couldnt play more than an hour cause of how it looked, I'm too spoiled with good looking games now for a 3rd gen game to be lookin like that. Anybody got any good games in mind people usually sleep on, but are really good?

Have atleast enough faith(16) for the spell second chance.

And two-handing a mirdan hammer is really good versus both types.
Aim for dragon upgrade as its very easy to get a pure stone.

Its not cause its not a great game. Its just that once you beat it, its nothing left to it. And if you play on Titan first, then do all the trials, you can get platinum in it fairly easy. Doesnt really have any long term value like Demon's Souls where you can just play forever, like Galindo's obsessed ass.

Yes for the best builds you usually wanna have as few points as possible into strength. Just enough for your main weapon.


They are strong for 3 reason.


1. Fully upgrade weapons.


2. Or the spell cursed weapon.


3. Or the spell light weapon.

i REALLY enjoyed Dragon Age... played through it twice, and am going to dl the expansion and play through again... graphics arent great, but the story is good, imo.

Can you get on the online part of the game? I get an sync error message now. Did some looking up and thousands of player's are also having the same issue. That games online has been a huge epic fail since it came out. With the Dev's always jacking with the stats, to server issues to now can't even get on it.

I'd say just focus on a weapon/s you like and go with the corresponding build.

My so-little-health-a-dredgling-looks-at-me-and-I-die approach hasn't been all bad. Besides raging like a madman most of the time, just using a spear and shield combo to constantly block while attacking.

On a side note, finally beat NG+. False King was a bitch as he'd always punch through my shield and kill me in one hit. Risked it and used an eye to get into body form, and on the way to him some black phaggot invaded me. Some tosser with a 2H sword. I ran all the way to the lift to get into room with False King.. and the phaggot jumped in with me. Basically, fought him in the lift and all I did was strafe, hold block up and stab... and actually kiled him! Had cast Ward the moment I got into the lift so that helped as well.

Anyways, fought the king by just staying at medium range, keep Warding up and spam soul arrow. Felt good :)

Was having a great time with GOW1 until all this damn underwater swimming. Then came this one hole you dive in and you gotta swim fast to avoid this moving wall. Sure many of you know the spot. Well after dying some 50 times I just turned the PS3 off. Controls are garbage for this game under water. Sometimes you can get the speed shot to work. Most times not at all and death. So reminds me of GOW3 and the less then prefect lag controls.

Here's the GOW1 part I'm at... figures this guy would make it look so easy. I can get down the hole and make it to the first pit most of the time. But when he comes up, he doesn't shoot forward that far at all. The walls comes to fast and it's death.... about 50 times now, lol. Right at the start of the video.
