I've been trying for the last 20 minutes to sync this piece of garbage blue tooth headset to my PS3. PS3 Mass Effect ingame graphics are a huge improvement, the cutscenes suffer from VSync issues though and don't even look half as good as the ingame graphics, lol.

PSN is a solid service, and it's free. I've never had an Issue w/ PSN.

Game is pure uberness maybe one of the best games created.

I own it for PC & have finished it 3 times. Will be a day 1 purchase for me on PS3 due to trophys which i might plat & the best part is includes ALL OF THE DLC which from what i read is amazing DLC i really want to do the Shadow Broker DLC that story line is so mysterious i need to learn more.


Started Mafia 2 last weekend the game is good so far 7/10 i was hoping for a little more basically it is a sandbox game but the story line takes you from Point A - B so to free roam you sorta just have to side track from a mission.

Damn BB boxing week sale is unreal. But **** Sony for not budging, and putting their consoles on sale. Xbox's are 129, unreal deal.

Def pick up some games on this date, because they're unreal prices. I picked up Enslaved for 28 bucks brand new today at BB. The game bombed and nobody was buying it so the price just dropped really fast. I am excited to give it a try.

Every time I've had stuff like that happen to me on a console it meant the graphics card was going out...

Have you checked to make sure all of the connections are secure?

On one of my tvs I'm connected through component and if one of the connections is even a millimeter out of place the colors are all off. But the elongated objects and weird stuff like that sounds like the hardware is failing.

like the hacking? That's getting pretty annoying... hacking, recovering, decrypting... it's the same damn minigame. I had a game about 8 hours in and I restarted it. So glad I did, I was an Inflitrator and now I'm a Soldier. I was only using the pistol since I didn't have the rifle skill. Now, the assault rifle makes it much better. I do want to move to 2 after I finish 1. I want to try to 100% it.

The boss's that they have had so far are not to mess with, they are ****ing hard. Took me like 9 trys to beat the first boss. But probably put a good 2 hours into, and quite enjoy it. For 28 bucks, you can not go wrong with it. I will hopefully pick up Brotherhood and New Vegas on Boxing day.

Dead Nation voice chat patch is coming in the near future though which should make co-op much easier. Being able to communicate who is to throw flares/grenades and when can be pretty important for making it through the harder levels.

Easy? Wtf mayne, some of the bosses I have such trouble with, I almost to crane on chapter 4. But there is some real annoying parts with it like the invisible walls and detection of jumpable objects.

Like when you get to the 2nd mine spot and you encounter a mech and you have to throw trip over the thing and she falls. There is a little one foot space that you can jump from. Any other part on the platform is un jumpable, which is really annoying.

Get a slim. It runs more efficiently, and has a smaller form factor.

I'd go with the biggest hd you can afford, it's annoying deleting old game data and downloads to free up space....

You usually have to rely on the in-game interface. (Thhats why in the pm I said the xbox guide menu is better).

Hey brahs, back from my ban. I got a new controller, Ratchet and Clank, Lost Planet 2, NFS:Undercover, and Uncharted 2 for Christmas.

I have a very hard time getting into campaigns, but uncharted is really fun so far... and the online is fantastic. Lost Planet 2 is a little strange, gonna give it another go later though. Ratchet and Clank is pretty goofy, but fun. And NFS sucks, but I needed a two player game.

Have never touched GOW. I have never been a single player type person. I ALWAYS play the online games, so I am branching out and starting with a bunch of games.

The last single player games I played was Cruz'n USA, Star Fox, The Sonic series, and all the way up to T.H.U.G 2. So I am branching off now.

It helps, because a guy at work can tell me what to buy, and what not to. He is a walking encyclopedia of video game/entertainment knowledge. He owns every system ever made, and a great catalogue of games for each system.

His collection was appraised at roughly 50k. It is unreal to hear how much he knows about video games.

deadnation is not a repetative arena style game. it has a story, a well designed city with a fleshed out ambiance, and varied/challenging enemy ai. dead ops is a mini game, while dead nation is an entire game in itself.

you really can't compare the two. just saw the dead ops video, and that confirms that you really can't compare dead ops to dead nation. the enemies are dumb, u can't get surprised, repetative enemies are repetive.

try accessory settings ---> audio device settings... you should be able to set the input/output and volume controls. input should be the eyetoy and the output should be the default tv settings. the eyetoy mic isn't that great.. ppl get a echo sound when you try to speak into it.

What I did:

- Play game on Titan

- Collect the items throughout Titan game play mode

- Make many a different saves, at different points, before the area you have to go in that damn cube thing and finish it without dying (use a guide to let you know when it's coming

- Finish the game on Titan

- Reload one of the saves before the cube thing. Die many times to get offered easy mode.

- Accept easy mode, go into cube thinger and finish it without dying

I think that should take care of most of the trophies

Nah some stuff you can't find till you get more upgrades. I switched to hard and actually found it really ****ing hard. Normal is still tough. Most people just play on norm. I played on hard cuz I'm a masochist like that.

During the ongoing Chaos Communication Conference 27C3, the hackers responsible for the Wii's Homebrew Channel, calling themselves fail0verflow, gave a presentation in which they claimed to have figured out the "private key" used by Sony to authorize code to run on retail PS3 systems. This means, as a PSX-Scene forum post puts it, giving a hacker "full control of the PS3 system," without the use of a USB device.

The group will explain more when its website launches, and also plans to show a demo tomorrow at the conference. This hack is designed not to enable PS3 game piracy (though it might have that effect) but, according to a tweet by fail0verview, to enable Linux to run on all PS3s, "whatever their firmware versions."
