I am a firm believer that everyone and anyone lives for a purpose, some know what it is and others do not. I am one who know knows and strongly believes in my purpose here on this planet.

I may not become the world's greatest natural bodybuilder, and I may not change the name, game, and face of the sport, but I DO PROMISE that I will be a force in it.

It is here after 2 whole years of taking off to improve, do, and give it all that I can in order to be better. I faced many trials and tribulations on the path/road to this time, a lot of heart break, fear, pain, and sorrow. But also joy, blessings, joy, and prayers.

I will continue my voyage and my journey but on the path to earning my IFPA Pro-Card, no breaks, no excuses, and no bull****. Always have faith and truth in yourself and you will never be stopped, as for me one thing I know about myself is.....

IF I BELIEVE THEN I WILL BECOME!!!

upper hyper

chest, bi's, and tris

CHEST

db incline press - 4 sets x 15 reps

db incline flies - 3 sets x 20 reps
*Dropped down after last set push ups to failure

BIS

ez bar curls - 4 sets x 10 - 15 reps

db hammer curls - 3 sets x 15 - 20 reps

TRIS

overhead rope extensions - 4 sets x 10 - 15 reps

str8 bar extensions - 3 sets x 15 - 20 reps

CARDIO

40 min elyptical

NOTES
My right pec was pretty tight and was a bit tender while warming up so I lightened up all my wieghts and basically did the higher rep range of my sets and squeezed and focused on form. I wont lie my chst is so sore today (in a good way). I think it was the higher reps and great focus on reps chest was crazy pumped, as for arms went big and hard!

yesterday was an off day, the Mrs. had to work late so I had to go home to let the dog out and let him play around, then had to head in the direction I just came from to hit up the new gym I go to, had to wait 30 min to get signed up. Then took me 15 min to get started as the place was slammed and I had no idea where anything was :smh:, i got it in but took a huge adjustment to get used to the place and the environment. Gonna pick it up today and will make up this session next week, I have no workouts to waste grrrrr.

I used to hate going to different gym back in the day but now that I travel I honestly enjoy the different stuff, plus I end up going at funky times so there usually isnt much traffic in there

Never done well with the Lower Volume, Guess it is working for you but do you ever do higher volume with more exercises and sets??????

I do higher volume on Fridays for my legs my routine is setup as a power/hypertrophy routine 1 day power movement for my lower body with a power rep set scheme then 1 day where it is a bodybuilder/hyper style rep set scheme.

I too have done a good deal of trial and error to see what my body responds best to and I am just now starting to put all the pieces together. Some inspiring stuff going on in here, keep it up bro!

Not bad numbers are going very little at this point but still going up, finished with 90's on incline for 13, did 115 for 12 on z curls, so not bad at all!

Umm at this point none i use my flat bb press for my power days, but also to my chest isn't fully proportioned my upper chest is lacking so that is why i focus more on my upper pecs.

Free Weight with the Bar Coleman style or Supported or Unsupported Machine

I used to love the Free weight ones with 25s to get a better range of motion but no where in my gym that has something to keep down the back of the bar. When you use 8 25s u need something holding it down

I used to love the Free weight ones with 25s to get a better range of motion but no where in my gym that has something to keep down the back of the bar. When you use 8 25s u need something holding it down


I do the Coleman style w/ a barbell, I stack/place 4 pies on the back end of the bar to keep it weighted down and push the bar again the wall, I also use quarters for the range of motion better stretch and pump, but I used 9 this past weekend so 8 is good I guess lol ;)

All my tats have meaning kid the one on my left shoulder i got when i was 16 my first tat, it says in Chinese "Blood, Sweat, Tears, Heart Soul" = what life is all about, my left wrist is my name + my right wrist is my moms name meaning we ride side by side she is my best friend.

Ummm my right forearm got a scroll with music lyrics, more Chinese saying "Strength, honor, Knowledge, Courage, Power", rosary set with a banner saying God's Child, I got my dads name, and my moms fiances name.

The chewies may be seem like a lot to eat, it is about 55 - 65 a day (depending) but when they taste like candy and you are dieting they are absolute heaven its like cheating with no guilt :D

I was 205 on my heavy of weighing in yeah, plateaus are a mother, greatly appreciate the feedback and the support :)

Right on bro. I went off creatine along with a few other supps during my cut, mostly just to clean out the system with the intent of adding them back slowly at a later time. I figure that way I can truly assess their effectiveness on my training and development. Just gotta experiment ya know.

I got 95's on my last set of db inclines for 13 reps, 45 on each side for 13 with ez bar curls and extensions ehhh w/e lol!

I generally take 60 - 120 sec rest in between.

HA HA I actually am deloading on all my power movement exercises this week, my numbers ar elittle by little dropping but am down from my off season weights, way off lol

BUT I am still strong compared to what I was w/ my first show, and on my auxiliary/hyper days movements weight is stil pretty decent, I have been hitting that peak where poweris MIA.

That is a Huge level of progress. Each time you diet you should be stronger than the last time.

Keep up the great work. I am super happy with my strength on this diet especially in my upper body as that was the first thing to go during my diet because of my shoulder injury

If your training, supplementation, and mainly DIET is on point you can make strength gains and progress while dieting for prep and also while trying to make lean mass gains.

So yesterday i decided to do something different, I love BullRush it is my favorite Betancourt Nutrition supp, and to me it is very versatile.

Nice plug! :D I would even say that Bullrush could be taken pre-workout as well for vasodilation.

If your training, supplementation, and mainly DIET is on point you can make strength gains and progress while dieting for prep and also while trying to make lean mass gains.

i have thought about it being I literally live 30 secodns down the road froma high school and bringing my dog, but I honestly know I wont push myself as hard outside as I would on the treadmill (mental thing)!

I am actually looking at doing 40/50 yard sprints and some car pushes :)

You will dig these bro, no HIIT is harder than this IMO. I love the track! Sprint the straights, and walk the curves. You hit the wall at about the 3-4th interval, were with usual ones I don't start feeling the same brick wall until maybe the 6-7th one.

I agree, Running outside is much better, as long as u do it early in MIAMI lol after 9AM it is too hot

My rest days on Wednesday and Sunday but I do HIIT cardio so really no rest lol been going at it 7 days a week coming upon 11 weeks now :)

Been working 6 days a week, plus hitting the gym 6 days as well for the past 6 weeks and I can feel it taking it's toll. Had to take last week off from lifting due to overdoing it.

I am sure you will come up with something to kick the motivation in gear again. Maybe some biking outdoors or rollerblading on the boardwalks will make it refreshing again and not so much like work.

Was in the gym at 8 am, I was off from work and decided why sleep when I should be working on being great. So i hit it early and hard. Plus the Mrs. was from work and wanted to spend some quality time which is always very important. We hit the movies saw Avatar: The Last Airbender in 3D a def must see, and hit the plazas and little shipping stores. Had a great day and spent some great quality time together which we needed was a very productive and blessed day!

The flick was sick in my eyes, the only thing I didn't like was it was a little scripted and choppy, but graphics were sck and there will eb sequels to the story!

As far as it being good for an 8 year old it def is perfectly fine the movie is produced by Nickelodeon so I honestly feel you can take your 8 year old.

ThePredators looks ok, I wont lie I am very ify about the movie and really hope it isn't disappointing the Predator movies are def on my top 10 list of movies of all time so we will see.

I think the biggest Testament to your hard work and the new improvements that you have made is that each week you are looking leaner with the same level of thickness, That is a huge thing with Natural guys and BB in General they believe a are alot bigger than they are in the Off-Season, You Really cant tell if you have made those gains until the fat is gone, Plus I also thick that when you lift heavy like we both do you create Thick Dense Muscle Fiber that stays with you unlike if you do those fluff and buff workouts that so many of people do

Thank homie greatly appreciated really means alot!

Taking a 2 year off season helped but the main thing I can attest is my diet, trainnig, cardio, and my Betancourt supp regimen is on point w/ everything all day and everyday!

I am even amazed to how dense and heavy I have remained over the past 13 weeks, plus I made sure I gave myself enough time to trim nice and slow so that i can keep that hard earned muscle.

I look at myself in the face everyday kowing I am doing everything that I am supposed to be doing to be the best i can be, and everyones kind words and having my back helps out GREATLY!

So quick shout out to my family, friends, small fan base, and Betancourt Nutrition fo rholding me down and having my back!
