5/18
Well I officially started the Keto-cuts contest. I am really looking forward to doing this. I have gotten very lazy this year due to my career. I'm a teacher and I switched grade levels, so it has been a busy year. I am also almost finished my master's degree.

About two months ago, my mom took a heart attack. She has high blood pressure and cholestorol even though she is very skinny. Many health problems are in our family, so I knew it was time to really get in shape and make this my new lifestyle, not just my for the moment to prepare for summer. I feel like every winter, I'm like a bear that hibernates and gains weight. IT'S OVER NOW!!!

I am so inspired by the men and women on bodyspace that I want to be like them. I want to make the top transformation of the week and feel good about myself.

I started doing Tae-Bo at home and I am going to Zumba a few days a week. I will eventually add weight training as well, but I want to take it one day at a time and set my mind to it. I started my transformation contest yesterday and hopefully willl add years onto my life!!!

Meals today: (Drinking lots of water also)
Breakfast- 1 cup of oatmeal, pinch of cinnamon, flax seed, and one banana (YUM!!)
Snack- 1 low fat cheese stick
Lunch- 4oz Grilled chicken breast with homemade salsa (light virgin olive oil, vinegar, pinch of pepper, lime juice, tomatoes, green peppers, and onions) 1/2 cup broccoli, and a half an apple with 1 tablespoon of peanut butter (Omega 3)
Snack- 2 little shish kabobs (peppers, onions, mushrooms, little steak/chicken) Love these!!
Dinner- Stir Fry- lean mean, broccoli, onions, peppers

Exercise-- 1 hour of TAE-BO...

As a former educator, I empathize with you for having switched grade level. Good lesson plans take a lot of time to create. In addition to all the work you're doing on your Masters. :)

Best of luck on this contest. Please get in touch with me if you have a question about anything. I'm here to help!

Good luck with the contest! You'll find a lot of support here :)

I completely understand about the health issue. My mother passed from a stroke 6 years ago and it definitely shook me up. She was extremely active and full of energy, and with the exception of high blood pressure, one of the healthiest persons I knew. Health and well being are front and center on my list of priorities.

Did you Zumba today? :D

That has become an extremely popular class where I work!!!
How long have you been doing Zumba?

Hello everyone!!! Thanks for the positive comments already!! 5 weeks and I'm done my master's. Thankfully this is the best time of year for me to start kicking butt and getting in shape because summer is around the corner. I already feel supported!!!

I did not Zumba today. I did TAE-BO, actually just completed it and I'm exhausted!!!! It was the cardio fat blaster. Let's just say if that doesn't blast fat, I sure don't know what will. I typically Zumba Mondays and Thursdays, and occasionally Saturdays. I have been doing that for about two months, the problem has been my diet, but hopefully now I'll be set!!!

Well off to a good start.

Meals today:
Breakfast-Oatmeal,flaxseed, cinnamon, and 1 banana
Snack- lowfat cheese stick
Lunch- stir fry mix from dinner (all veggies and lean meat) and 1/2 apple with peanut butter (THANK GOODNESS FOR PEANUT BUTTER!!! DEFINITELY CURBS THE SWEET CRAVING)
Snack- One hard boiled egg

We have a farmer's market that we go to every Wednesday, so I took my Keto-cutz right before we left so that way by the time we ran to get some veggies, I was set to workout when we got back.

I got back and did 1 hour of TAE-BO the cardio fat blaster.. HOLY HELL!!! I'm exhausted!!! That is one hell of a workout. I didn't use the resistance bands yet because I have a different one than the one used, so it looks as though I may need to do some shopping =)

Dinner- chicken, black beans, tomatos, 2 tablespoons of salsa con queso, scallions, and spinach

After today, I feel pretty good =)

I always thought Tae-bo was a lot of fun. I have a few of the DVDs that I pop in every once in a while. I love, love, love Zumba, though. I'm hoping to free up some time this summer and make it to some classes after work.

As for the sweet craving, have you tried sugar-free meringues? Those help me. As does a sf peppermint.

On the last few pages the top ten are being announced from last year's competition. It was run a little differently with men and women competing in the same section. But it's still cool to see what's going on.

Well today was another good day!!!

I feel different today using Keto-Cuts. During my workout even though I was tired at first, as soon as I started really getting my heart pumping it seemed like I got energized. I was pushing hard and really focusing on each move in TAE-BO. After my workout, I felt great!!!

Snack- Low Fat Cheese Stick
Lunch- Spinach salad with grilled chicken, black beans, tomatos, scallions, and 2 tablespoons of salsa con queso... I also had a half of an apple and peanut butter

I find that I'm eating small snacks now, which I never did so I feel full. I am not hungry nor am I having cravings.. I took my Keto-Cuts right when I got home from work about a half hour before I worked out.

Everything I've been eating has been very good. I feel full and do not have cravings. I think I'm eating a pretty good diet, but I guess time will tell. Any foods you eat that work for you?? We could share food ideas haha!

Nothing really for the weekend. Just relaxing a little. I woke up early this morning to exercise so tonight we'll probably just rent a movie or something. HOw about you?

Movie night was good!! Relaxing was nice! Aww, I hope your daughter's graduation party went nice. =)

That's exactly how I am.. yesterday would be great! Unfortunately that's just not how it works.

I currently take the 2 daily. As of now, it seems good! I don't feel jittery AT ALL!!! Any other product I have ever used I have always felt jittery. With this I don't. I do feel like I have energy to get through the workout. So far I like it, but we shall see the results, which of course will encourage my thoughts =)

ANOTHER GREAT DAY FOR ME!!!

Well I feel like I've been waking up lately with more energy. Most mornings I haven't wanted to get out of bed. I feel energized in the morning. I also haven't been getting migraines, which I would get frequently. It seems since I changed my diet and exercise, as well as using Keto-Cuts that I feel better.

Breakfast Today- scrambled eggs with peppers, onions, and chicken
Snack- lowfat cheese stick
Lunch- Kabobs- (chicken, steak, mushrooms, peppers, onions) and 3/4 of an apple with Omega 3 peanut butter
Snack- 1 kabob stick (same as above) and one hard boiled egg
I took my 2 Keto-Cuts a little after I ate and prepared for my exercise. I waited about a half hour to start. I also drank a lot of water. I am thinking of upping my dosage of Keto-Cuts to 2/2. One thing I have noticed so far is that I don't get jittery. I have taken Hydroxycut Max in the past (prior to the recall) and it made me so jittery. I would get sick immediately and just feel like I was having an out of body experience. It was odd. I don't feel this way with Keto-Cuts. I feel GOOD! I'd say GREAT, but I'm waiting to use that when I have a killer bod! ahhaha

Dinner- steak, onions, peppers on the grill and cucumbers and tomatoes with extra virgin olive oil (pinch), red wine vinegar, onions, pepper to taste.

Drinking lots of water.

My workout today was again- TAE-BO. For some reason, I have the extra push to do well when I am watching the video. Even if I'm tired, I'm able to still give at least 100% if not 110%. Keto-Cuts effects so far are very good, let's see the results!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Honestly, I can't tell when it wears off ahah! I just feel energized about a half hour after I take it, but then for some reason it doesn't have a negative effect like my past experiences with other supplements. I really like Keto-Cuts. In fact I was going to try starting on Wednesday to do the 2/2. I figured that will be a good week by then so I'm going to try to up the dosage to see if it makes a difference. I feel really good working out, I'm finishing my workouts giving at least 100% if not more, and I have no hunger cravings. I think by fueling my body every few hours with snacks that are healthy are keeping my cravings down. Honestly, so far this is the BEST diet I've tried, great supplement that doesn't make me sick, and I'm working out and enjoying it. What more could I ask for?

Have a great night,
Vanessa

This is a key factor for me when dieting. If I get busy and don't eat for a long time, I end up stuffing my face and have difficulty stopping. :o

I'm glad to see that you're enjoying the KetoCuts. I should get my next batch in next week. Unfortunately, today will be my last dose from this bottle. I'm not sure I'll survive for the next week. :D

Well as I looked over the log requirements I realized I should have added some other details to help people learn a bit about me so here it goes.

My name is Vanessa Boyle. I am currently 26 years old and a 2nd grade teacher. I have always fluctuated weight over the years. I typically lose the weight in the summer and pack it on like a hibernating bear in the winter. I take a lot of pride in my job so I focus so much on that and taking courses to better myself that I often put my health aside. Last year I started working out again and was doing the Hydroxycut Max contest. I was doing well until I started getting jittery using it. I was starting to feel sick and even had an experience where I threw up at work. It was not pleasant. I just felt like it got to be something that I knew I couldn't handle and didn't want to hurt my body especially since it was recalled. After that I continued working out and going to the Y. Of course the fall came around and back to work I went. When my mom had a heart attack it made me really rethink my lifestyle. My husband is also an awesome motivator and I felt like the fat wife with cellulite as he was turning from a frog to a prince. I knew it was time to do something. He uses Creadyl and really liked it so I thought with the contest it would be a great motivator. Shopping Spree! I mean come on that is my favorite thing to do and why not with someone elses' money? I want to clean up my act and make this a lifestyle not just for the moment.

My weight when I started a week ago was 120. My measurements are dated and listed on my main page. I really want to shrink all over the place. I want a small tight stomach, toned arms, small butt (no apple bottom jeans), firm legs, and just look lean, fit, and sexy. I want to turn heads when I walk. I am going to take one day at a time and hope for awesome results. I think my healthy diet and exercise will lead the way along with KetoCuts.

As far as my workout goes, I started with TaeBo and Zumba. I have asthma so sometimes things bother me. I have to choose something I really like also because I swear I get easily bored. If it doesn't hold my attention I don't feel like doing it. I was always very high energy, but before I started working out I had a hard time getting out of bed (SO not like this sassy thing). Well I started KetoCuts, eating right, and spending an hour a day on cardio and I feel like a new woman already. I actually have motivation again. I am going to add in weight training but wanted to get myself from panting so heavily to kicking butt using resistance bands and able to push myself to the limit. I plan to start that week 3 so not too far off since tomorrow is the start of my 2nd week.

Today I woke up with more energy than last Tuesday. Wednesday will be the true test since that is always the "hump" day where I struggle to have energy. So far I've been working out doing cardio EVERYDAY! I am the type of person that I have to keep routine or I lose my motivation. As I was doing Tae-Bo today and crunching my abs with each move I could feel Keto-Cuts working. I upped my dosage to 2/2 today to try to test how it works. I got a little sick after working out tonight (which was also about 1.5 hours after my 2nd dose), but I think I drank too much water. It was really hot working out today and sometimes the heat gets to me. I took the 1st dose this morning without any complications or sick feelings. I'll test the water again tomorrow.

Meals
Breakfast- scrambled eggs plain (2 ketocuts)
Snack- Lowfat cheese stick
Lunch- Leftover kabobs again, 1 apple/peanut butter
Snack- 2 pickled eggs, 1 pickle
(2 ketocuts)
Tae-Bo (50 minutes)
Dinner- 6 oz of grilled chicken wrapped in turkey bacon on the grill. Green beans slightly browned with extra virgin olive oil, minced garlic, mushrooms, and slightly sprinkled with parm cheese (very good I may add) =) I found the recipe online.

If anyone else has recipes to share.. do tell, do tell.. I love to cook and I need some ideas so I don't get sick of anything =)

Totally bummed!!! My Creadyl arrived today and I was all ready to get started, however as life always gets busy. I'm just walking in the door and it's 8:18 from work. I have major paperwork to do tonight for the end of the year and my online class to complete, so I decided that today will be a day of rest for me. I think I could do that considering I haven't taken on yet. I am so anxious to get into the workout tomorrow and see what Creadyl will do for me. Keto-Cuts is still working great, no jitters at all and I even went 2/2. Yahoo!!!

Breakfast- scrambled eggs
No snack today -meeting
Lunch- grilled chicken, green beans, turkey bacon around the piece of chicken, an apple with pb
Dinner- salad with cucumbers/tomatos and light balsamic dressing, steak, mushrooms (EXTRA VIRGIN olive oil, garlic, tomato, parsley--AWESOME!!!)

Have to work double hard tomorrow.

Seems like we've got a bit in common... I just began my second week as well, and am a teacher in PA. How many more days for you? We're done next Thurs., but who's counting, right?

I'm with you on putting on weight during the school year. I've got to learn to break that cycle because it's just not healthy and I feel so sluggish. My husband dropped about 15 pounds recently, and I'd like to drop twice that much. I only wish I started a little sooner.

Do you find the summer easier or more difficult with the lack of time constraints/schedule? It can go either way for me; ie I can make excuses either way. It really SHOULD be easier to fit it all in.

Good luck with the end of the year circus. I'll be following along!

Yes, we are very similar it seems. I know what you mean about excuses. I've been very focused this time. I have been eating healthy and having a good attitude. Normally I exercise a day or two and get bored with it. I usually feel it takes too long and my mind is thinking about everything else I have to do. However, this time I come home and get to it. I am really liking the TaeBo. It switches moves so often I don't seem to get bored. I swear I have adult ADHD but never was diagnosed ahah! Where do you teach? Honestly, I started it today and ooooooo it didn't agree with me at all. I felt more pumped and could feel my body tingling. I broke out in red all over my legs and arms. I waited the half hour and then did my workout. I had to stop with 10 mins left of taebo. I threw up from it! I was so shakey. My husband thinks that I need to start with a very small dose and work my way up to let it adjust as you said. I think I'll wait and start fresh in another day from now. I do have to say though I did work REALLY hard and felt the extra energy it gave me. I just need to cut my amount.

Well I must say Keto 2/2 was no problem, but the Creadyl is another story. I got sick from it. I think it must have been too much for me that I wasn't used to. I am going to give it another go, but wait until Saturday morning. I do have to commend the fact that my workout did kick butt until I got sick!!! Well today was a tough day for me. I got sick!!! I got my Creadyl and was so excited to take it. My body got all hot and tingly. I broke out in red blotches which I sort of expected. I pushed myself during the workout harder than I ever have though and it's thanks to the Creadyl. I am going to give it another go but in a smaller amount until my body adjusts to it. I definitely could feel the pump to push, push and push!!!!

keto-2/2 again =) No problems there! Feeling good and no tingles so loving this product!!!!

Breakfast- scrambled eggs and a little catsup
No snack today/no time
Lunch- salad with lettuce mix, cucumbers, tomatoes, and balsamic dressing, an apple with pb
snack- pickled egg
dinner- stir fry- chicken, broccoli, extra virgin olive oil/soy sauce mix, onions, mushrooms --- TASTY!!!

snack before bed- 1 tablespoons of peanut butter (curbing the sweet tooth)

Wow! How many scoops did you take?

Here's what has worked for me. I started off very slowly with a half scoop. I cannot take the Creadyl on a completely empty stomach, so I usually take it about an hour after eating a small snack. Even with that, I would sometimes get the burn that you mentioned. That doesn't happen any longer, as I've built up a tolerance, but when it did occur, I would pop an aspirin and all was good. Aslo, as the Creadyl raises my heart rate, I do not take it directly before a cardio workout. If I take it on cardio days, I use it post workout.

Poor thing - I don't know what you took (1, 2 scoops) but go down to 1/2 a scoop and tell everyone how it worked - should be fine. Slowly increase dose. My son takes KetoCuts with 2 scoops of BetaCene and says it lights him like a firecracker. Remember drop the dose significantly.

Well I havent' had a chance to post the past like 2 days.. It's been a busy weekend and my internet was down.

I'm doing fairly well with this holiday. Temptation is so hard and we still need to indulge a little, so I can't say my diet was the best this weekend, but it also wasn't completely terrible. I am back on track in the am!=0)

I did work out all weekend though and I even tried Creadyl again!! I dropped it to a half a scoop, got almost completely through my workout this time before getting sick. I honestly feel like I have too much in my stomach when I'm working out so hard, so I think I'm going to try waiting a little longer than a half hour tomorrow morning. I definitely felt the pump today though I did end up completing my workout so all in all.. Rome wasn't built in a day, so things take time.............. Still pushing!!!

Have a super Memorial Day Everyone! Be safe!

I feel very focused this time as well. We've put together some workout equipment downstairs over the last 5 months. In addition to the beautiful weather outside, there are really no excuses now. (Except for the cookouts--I didn't eat good, but I could have eaten more, so I guess it's somewhat of an improvement).
The Creadyl did not agree with me this last time either (only 3rd time tried). I'm wondering if I just had too much liquid period in my stomach when beginning my workout. I drank 2 cups of water with Keto and NOBeta, then more with the Creadyl. I'll have to adjust it next time. Let's keep each other posted with what works.
I teach science to 9-12 grade at York City. I think we pass Tamaqua on the way up to visit the inlaws--is it somewhere near 81?
Have a good week! This is my last full week, then exams next week :):):)

Hello everyone!! I'm doing well. It was the last week of school this week and it was either exercise or log.. so I apologize for being gone for a few days, but I'm BACK!! Well I started doing the 1/2 scoops of Creadyl. My body is definitely still adjusting. I still feel a little weezy, but definitely adjusting!! I feel more energy working out and it's giving me the opportunity to really push!! I am proud of my workouts. I'm down to 114 from 120 at my start weight. I also added in weight training as of TODAY!

EXERCISE TODAY:
1 HOUR OF CARDIO-TAE BO
DROP SETS:
SQUATS- 60, 50, 40, 30 10 REPS WITH EACH
LEG PRESS- 90, 80, 70, 70 10 REPS EACH
CALF RAISES- 90, 80, 70, 70 10 REPS EACH
CROSSOVER LUNGES- 20 POUNDS- 20 REPS ON EACH LEG

I have continued taking Keto Cuts 2/2 and I am loving it!!! I have not had any problems and I'm ordering more today!! I have also been supplementing protein shakes in for breakfast rather than eggs. My lunches and dinners have been the same as they have been for a few weeks.. I'm ready to let the pounds start dropping, the bodyparts to start toning, and to begin looking dam sexy!!!!!!!!!!

Happy Saturday everyone!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Yep, we live close to 81 about 20 minutes from it. We actually live outside Tamaqua in a small outskirts area. It's nice.

As much as I love reading your journal, I'm glad you forsake it last week for some great workouts! Now, you've got the summer ahead of you and are student-free for a bit. Are you ready to kick some tail? :D

I desperately need to order some protein ASAP. I've been craving shakes at breakfast. I think it's gotten hot, and I'd rather have the cold shake for breakfast than hot eggs. What brand of protein do you use?

Are you working out today?

Yes, definitely order the chocolate pb.. Love it!!! It's my new addiction. We put ice in it obviously and blend it in the bullet!! If you don't own a bullet, definitely time to invest!

I already did workout! I'm on a streak! I did an hour of tae-bo and then I did some lifting. I am going to post a log today with my workout with sets/reps. I also took my 1/2 cup of Creadyl and I'm holding my own along with my 2 ketos this morning and then I'll take 2 more later today =)
I'm pondering the thought of ordering a bathing suit today.. I need it to go away in two weeks and I figured I should order one I want to look good in and then work towards that goal since I won't have a choice once I purchase it.. We shall see ! =)

I think you should GO FOR THE SUIT ~~~~ what a motivating factor that will be!!! :)

Looks like you had a great workout, too today. Of all the Myofusion flavors I have tried, strawberry is by far the best imo. Chocolate PB aint too bad though, either!

I hear you with the bathing suit--we just bought a pool last week. Should be installed at the end of the month. Talk about motivation!
By the way, Ross stores have some super cheap bathing suits and are already starting to mark them down. I got a Calvin Klein one retailed at $164 for $6.49!
Great job with the weight loss so far!

I'm a CHOCOHOLIC so the chocoloate myofusion with pb hits the sweet spot for me.. I may have to try the strawberry now though....=)

That's a rockin' swimsuit! While I may not be the authority on fashion, I have been voted the "best-dressed" teacher at my high school 5 years in a row. If my wife wore that suit, my eyeballs would pop out of my head and my tongue would hit the floor!

I didn't like the choc-pb. But, outside of just eating it on an apple, I'm not a big PB fan.

As for the suit . . . . .Obviously, I love it! :D If you're small busted (as I am) that top is a great option. I have an A cup, and it actually makes me look like I have a little cleavage.

Definitely the green. Second choice would be blue--they both would look great with your coloring. Looking at your latest progress pics, I think they'd look pretty awesome now!

How does it feel to be "free" and be able to eat and use the bathroom whenever you want? My last day is Thursday...

I hear you about being sore. How do you feel with lifting? I'm really trying not to pull or aggrivate anything this time. I tried the Creadyl again today--not a full dose--it was OK, but still am not sure if I will continue. I have the lemon lime. What about you? I ordered blue raspberry proteing powder for my shakes (Cytodyne has buy 2 get one free on BB.com). I'll let you know...

Hello darlin! It feels AWESOME to be done!! However, I am an energetic nut most days so I am actually waitressing at Damon's over the summer -2days a week for some extra money, possibly to buy a new wardrobe at the end of the summer =). Enjoy your last few days.

I was stuck between green and blue for the swimsuit. I always buy BLACK and my thoughts are I need to allow some color into my life. I just hope I eventually look good in it hahah! I'm working hard still.

The lifting so far is pretty good. I am following a plan I found in a Women's Health I believe it is. I have to put up my post about exercise from yesterday because I worked yesterday so I didn't have a chance to do it, so I figured I would do both posts later today. I have the orange Creadyl. I don't know. I could only take a very small dose or I seem to get sick. It definitely pumps me up though. I haven't had the lemon lime, hows' the taste? Yummm blue raspberry. That sounds good. =) Have a great day!! Keep working hard!

I liked the banana the best. And for the color. . . I wanted the solid green so badly, but they didn't have the right bottoms. :( I ended up getting the large pink polka dots and then some mix and match that went with it off the clearance bin. I have a solid hot pink bandeau top and some tie side bottoms in hot pink with tiny white polka dots. So I can put any of them on and it all works together.

Well everyone I made a new purchase!!!! Not the bathing suit yet, BUT ankle/wrist weights. I thought these would add a little resistance for tae bo--- so today I did my hour of usual tae bo with the ankle weights... man I could feel the burn.. But even more...... I kept at it and did some weight training. If you haven't noticed from my stats I'm not very strong. I'm a weak one, but my husband said as long as I am trying that I'll continue to gain strength and advance over time.

Lunge with bicep curls (OUCH!!) wrist weights and 5 pound weights for 30 steps per leg for 4 sets --- I am going to feel this tomorrow
Bicep curl drop sets- 20, 15, 10, 5 (10 reps for 4 sets)
Overhead tricep extensions- 15, 10, 10, 5 (10 reps for 4 sets)
Dumbell tricep punch outs-- 5 pounds (20 reps for 4 sets)
Hammer curls- 10 reps for 4 sets

I'm pushing and pushing.. and just hoping and praying to see major results soon. This is probably t he most motivated I have ever been to get in shape. I've been very disciplined with my eating also which typically I see chocolate and I cave.. but I haven't yet. In fact, I'm feeling pretty good, as well as motivated. The creadyl is helping me to push hard in my workouts. I also feel great taking the 2 ketos twice a day. I can't believe I am not jittery. I feel awesome with those!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Well everyone!! I was up early and hard at work!! I woke up this morning, took my 2 ketos, 1/2 scoop of Creadyl and hit the gym aka "the basement." I started off with 1 hour of tae bo, switched my weights today from the ankels to the wrists. I figured I would rotate until I got better with them and then I would buy another set for both as I did my cardio. After that I did little weight training today:

push ups-- legs apart and hands close together 10 reps for 4 sets
circle chest flyes- 10 pds 10 reps for 4 sets
Plan to do core this evening ( I waitress tonight so I needed to take some time to do laundry, clean, etc so I figured tonight I'll come home and watch tv and do some ab work)

Meals so far today
Breakfast-- 2 whole eggs scrambled, some onions, fresh garlic, and peppers YUM!!! little ketchup too for flavor!
Snack- apple with pb
I won't be really eating lunch since I work at 330 I'll be eating an early dinner tonight
Steak and fresh green beans

When I get home this evening I'll have a snack with it being later at night and try to sneak in a protein shake at work.

Have a wonderful day everyone!!!!!!! =)

Well I could tell you it hurts from them ahaha!!! I am following a workout from the Fitness Rx Magazine so that's what the plan was... well really burnout push-ups, but I had to start off with the 4 sets of 10 reps because otherwise I would not last.. My husband helped me and sort of positioned my legs and hands to work my chest, arms (triceps), and abdominals.. so we shall see.. The weight training is 6 weeks rotating and some drop sets and then a new weight training program starts from weeks 7-12 once you build a bit of stamina.. I'm hoping to stick with that and the tae-bo. I was going to Zumba, but the woman that teaches it pulled something and is out until mid July.. she is trying to find a replacement, but I d on't know.. It's ok though because I have a few Tae Bo tapes and I rotate them so it works for me and it saves tons of money...

I know what you mean about seeing "life changing things" over the next couple of weeks. I'm trying not to get impatient, but when you see on TV shows and magazines how people lose double digits in seemingly days, it gets a little frustrating. We're both working really hard and the results WILL come.
How did you like the ankle/wrist weights? Read your later posts--some great exercises!
Good job not caving for sweets. I usually get a bit munchy with a sweet tooth every month--going to try really hard to avoid the stuff this time. I feel like with three weeks under my belt I've gone too far to royally screw it up. How long do you typically stay on a program before something gives?
I'll have to beep the horn when we drive by you on 81 next week :)

I really like Tae Bo-- I feel like I'm getting better with it, better kicks/punches each time, and I'm not losing my breath as easily. It seems to be what works for me right now.

Hello there! Im ejoying reading thru some of your meal plans, giving me some ideas!

Good I'm glad you are getting some ideas. My husband is so disciplined and he creates my meals each day and sort of keeps me on track. Honestly, my apple/pb is my saving grace. I know some people say not to eat an apple blah blah blah, but I always believed the old saying "apple a day keeps the doctor away." I am prone to migraine headaches, stomach problems, and I was low on fiber for awhile until I knew it so I was sluggish. Since I started exercising and eating right I feel 120% better-no problems!!! The apple curbs my sweet tooh and I just make sure I eat it early enough. Love it!1

I'll keep the meals posted to help you out =)

Nice looking workouts!

Thank you!

Quick question-- I have been using the Keto Cuts obviously and Creadyl... during the contest, can you switch from Creadyl to Betacene at all or do you need to stay on the same two products throughout? I'm just curious because the Creadyl pumps me up and I do like it, but I am still getting sick from it..

Yes, we need to be patient.. I am sure in a few weeks we will be so thrilled. I def am losing weight and inches.. I just can't wait to see more =) I know all bout the sweet tooth. That's why I eat an apple daily with pb otherwise I would cave. Honestly, I have never been a disciplined person when it comes to food or exercise. Most of my life I was thin, never ripped, but thin and I am always on the go. I try to eat as healthy as I co udl, but it's not always easy...... For some reason this time with Keto Cuts I am so disciplined. I am not having cravings, I feel good, energetic again, I'm eating a balanced diet with at least 5 small meals a day for the most part, I exercise pretty much everyday. I know I should take a day off but I continue to do cardio to keep me in the routine. When I am tired, I take some Creadyl and my real secret ( I check out other girls webpages that went from out of shape to totally in shape and it motivates me). All I need is 15 mins in front of the computer to either hear the support on here or look at other females pages and it's enough to get my a$$ moving!!! We'll support each other through this. I don't care if I win or lose, as long as I win on my results~!!!!! The shopping spree is just the added bonus! =)

That's the attitude you need for a competition like this :) Now, as for your question, using Betacene is fine. I think you just have to be using two products including the ketocuts. What I do with Betacene is taken it on off days, and Creadyl on workout days (sometimes Betacene too). That's a more cost effective method. However, if you are finding its making you sick, you can totally get Betacene, but it won't give you the crazy energy you get from the Creadyl. Up to you!

Have you tried the Glutacene yet?

Hello all........... another workout completed... I did an hour of tae bo once again-Today was the fat blasting cardio one.. I used my ankle weights today.. yay!!! I also did some weight training:

squats- drop sets 60, 40, 30, 20-- 10 reps for 4 sets
leg press-drop sets- 130, 120, 110, 100 (10 reps for 4 sets)
calf raises- drop sets- 130, 120, 110, 100 (10 repts for 4 sets)

I am getting there. slowly but surely.. When my workouts get too long that's when I get bored, so I try to do my cardio and then some weight training but my mind starts to wonder about the 100 other things I have to do. So I just want to stay strong and consistent....

also took my 2 ketos this morning and 1/2 creadyl.. Now I'm off for the day to do some stuff other than sit in the house or work...Enjoy the day all

"Secret" I slept in today for the first time in a long time-- 930.. so my breakfast after my workout was really lunch sooooooooo I just wanted to share since some like my little recipes---1/2 chicken breast cup up, onions, peppers, black beans, 1 tablespoon of salsa con queso, scallions, and tomatoes-------- YUM!!! =) It's good with spinach too but I didn't have any... Enjoy

Yea it's a cheese dip with salsa... It's low calorie actually. I have the Biggest Loser Cookbook and that was a recommendation in it. I don't use much but definitely adds flavor. It's awesome with chicken, black beans, tomatos, and scallions-- Love it!!!

I love fruit, too. We've planted a lot of fresh fruit around the yard--strawberries, blackberries, blueberries, raspberries, peaches, plums, and apricots! Oh, and cherry and almond trees up front--they didn't do so great over this winter, though.

I am on a mission right now hahah Like I said I typically let life get in the way and use that as an excuse.. and I'm really trying to put me first for once. I am always helping everyone else, working, and just never really take time for me. I am worn down and sick of always giving to everyone and no one gives back. So I vowed to myself that I'm doing this contest and sticking with it to make me happy. I have good days and bad though. Some I think I see results and feel good, but then others I'm like dam I'm working my ass off and for what? I don't know. My husband is pretty big with the fitness. Check him out on my profile page. He was in Flex Magazine years ago. The problem is in the winters him and I both get off track except he jumps right back on and loses weight instantly where I take months to get back down. He is really good with his diet and likes fish. I'm not a picky eater, but I just can't do fish. I picture poor Nemo swimming and yuck just can't do it. That sounds awesome with all the fruit -- send some this way ahha. My husband and I go to the auction every Wednesday to get fresh veggies and pretty much apples for me and bananas for him. I haven't been eating much fruit, more vegetables than anything because I'm really trying not to eat much carbs. By the way you are a woman with a mission in this contest too. You've been kicking major butt as well! =) I don't think there are that many women in the contest, are there? Hmm..

Well have an awesome day and enjoy your workout1!!! I'm off to do mine now. I'm hitting up the mall later with my best friend and then going out to dinner for my husband's birthday.. (He could cheat but I'm going to try to stick with something healthy)

Talk to you later!

I always buy my green beans frozen, and then steam them. I also prefer french-cut green beans to whole beans. All you do is cook them, put some in a bowl, throw pb on top, mix it all up, add in some salt for seasoning, and enjoy!

Fantastic results! Will your 4 week photos be coming in soon? I started on May 19th, so am in a similar time frame. However, your near double digit weight loss tops mine!
I really hate the winters--one of the reasons we moved down to NC for a couple of years. This year (maybe it's my age creeping up as well) it is taking forever to get rid of my winter/holiday weight and I think I actually pushed my set point up close to 10 pounds. Like you, I was not taking care of myself--since the beginning of the school year. Starting up a field hockey team in the city after nearly 3 decades without one, with the athletic dept. almost working against us, and having two new and different science preps with labs (zigzagged too--ELL and repeater bio, low level general sci, honors bio, learning support general sci) took a lot of time and energy. Then the winter and holidays came and I both hibernated and celebrated, if you know what I mean. And what a winter we had!

I'm struggling these last few days. I think some of it is hormonal, and know I'll be holding some water soon, too :( Your results inspire me. You might have to order a smaller size swimsuit!

Well everyone.. I must admit, that last evening I had a cheat meal for my husband's birthday-- Steak but the worst of it is really the FRESH CUT FRENCH FRIES- My weakness!!! We went out to the RiverWalck Restaurant in our area for his bday and of course that is where he wanted to go, so I knew there was no eating healthy there haha! Oh well, we all need to take one here or there so I did........

HOWEVER........ I was up this morning and got my butt right back on the wagon. I did my hour of tae bo.. then......

Yes, I did squats again today- I upped my sets
squats- drop sets- 60, 50, 40, 30, 20--- 10 reps for 5 sets.. and I got extremely low and pushed hard-- boy was I sweating!!!! It felt great though afterwards!!!

shoulder press-drop sets as fast as I could go 15, 10, 5, 5 (10 reps for 4 sets)-- last set I did it until I couldn't go anymore-- 35

lateral raises attempted drop sets but I am weak so this is the best I could do, but have high hopes of increasing (I did it fast though and focused really hard) 10, 10, 5, 5 ----10 reps for 4 sets (I maxed my last set at 25)

Pre workout-
1/2 scoop creadyl, 2 keto cuts
breakfast - a banana
lunch- salad with cucumbers, tomatos, onions, and peppers- balsamic dressing and a homemade turkey burger on the grill with chopped onions and peppers mixed in.. =)
snack- apple with pb
dinner-- something yummy on the grill =)

Have a great day everyone!!!

I know!! French Fries are the weakness! Everywhere I read though it says you need a cheat meal now and then.. so I must say it's been almost 5 weeks since I had any type of potato!!! So I feel it was a well deserved one =) My thoughts are that this needs to be a lifestyle not just a "at the moment diet/exercise crazy." So there will be temptations at times, and sometimes you'll indulge, but it's a matter of getting back on the horse and keep pushing....

Hello everyone!!!! The Hershey Lodge was very nice and definitely a benefit since it was all for free. It was a great training, but way too much chocolate in view.

I woke up early this morning again, popped my two Keto-Cuts, and took a 1/2 scoop of Creadyl..You can definitely feel the difference from not working out for two days.. GRRRR!!!

My workout was good today though. I did Tae Bo for an hour, the leg press, some ab work, but I am going to come back this afternoon to do another round of exercise through lifting. My husband isn't home and I don't like to tempt some weights without him around since the lifting part is still new with me and I'm weak ahah! I will be posting again this afternoon, but I like to hold myself countable for my workouts and it feels good to say what I've completed!!! =) Tune in later for more............. Happy 2 years anniversary to me!! My husband and I had a great day today celebrating our anniversary!!!

I haven't been logging as often and I do apologize. I promise things are continuing with supplements, workouts, and diet, but life has taken over. I started working my summer job and I'm nearing the final week here with my master's degree so I have about 10000000 assignments due so please forgive me.

I have been really pushing in the gym aka my basement!! Tae bo is working awesome!! I feel great and I love using my ankle weights. I also have been adding weights a lot more.. squats are my absolute fav because I could feel the burn and I love it because it makes me think it's shrinking my a$$ets!!! My husband has been an awesome support and pushing me. We even went for a long walk yesterday.

Supplements are still good. I think there must be more niacin in this batch of Keto because I'm getting that tingly feeling and red blotches, but other than that no probs!! Still love it. I'm working up with my Creadyl. I really think my next supplement is going to be BetaCene. My husband has it and really likes it and it smells so good........

Well everyone, I updated my pics.. I must admit I did get a little discouraged because I got a private message from some **** saying I don't look good............. In my mind I am seeing progress. I know I am working hard and eating right so the changes will come. Rome wasn't built over night. I did copy and paste my pics into a word document to compare and I definitely can see weight loss and more toning, so the hell with him!!!!!!!!!!!!!

GOING STRONG!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Ok....so the person who said you don't look good must be BLIND!!! I just looked at your profile page, and your progress pics....you look awesome!! I can tell a huge difference, girl! My motto is, "haters gon hate." Don't let someone else's stupid, ill-advised comments take away from the TRUTH of how great your transformation has been so far. I'm impressed.

Congrats on your 2-year anniversary. Me and my wife just celebrated our 5-year anniversary. There is nothing better than spending a lifetime with your soulmate.

Also, big congrats on your pending Master's degree! What area? Get those assignments in, girl, and worry about updating us knuckle-heads later.

You will LOVE Betacene. With the new price-drop, it would be very smart to pick some up.

Have a great day!

First of all, for someone to take the effort to PM someone and tell them they don't look good shows just what kind of character they lack. Secondly, don't pay that jacka$$ any mind. You can definitely see progress, you look great!

Congrats on the wedding anniversary!!!

And good luck with wrapping up your Master's, what an accomplishment!

Thank you so much everyone for continuing to motivate me. I feel so much better after hearing all your kind words. I really thought I could see progress myself, but then I thought maybe I'm just seeing what I want to see... He was a jerk! I went to his profile and of course no pictures or anything... he is probably a stalker!!!!!!!!!!!! Loser!

Anyways, after reading all your positive feedback it motivated me to get my butt down to the basement to workout!!! I just took my 2 ketos and drank my Creadyl about 20 minutes ago so I'm pumped to go!!!!

Thank you for all the anniversary wishes! My husband and I had a great day!!! =) He is a real sweetie!

I also FINALLY completed my portfolio and assignments. I am down to 1 assignment and a quiz. I can do this!!! For those who asked. My master's is in education--Classroom Technology. My contract is up in August so I pumped through to finish up. I am actually going to be signing up for another master's in the fall once our contract is settled! I only need about 5 classes to obtain another masters!!

Have a wonderful day all!!!!!!!!!!!

Well......... I am just taking a slight breather before lifting today... My house is soooo humid and a girl with asthma, well let's just say humidity isn't a good thing.. so kicking up the AC and then hitting the weights after the house cools a tad...... Cardio was good today though..... Still using my ankle weights... It feels so good to see progress. It makes me want to look even better and to keep pushing. Everyday I have been either adding reps or highering my weights... My goal is each workout push harder!

I'm still munching on most of the same foods... cut back a bit on the pb and apples.. and added more chicken rather than steaks into my diet... I also bought cottage cheese (which I am not usually a fan of) and a packet or ranch dip and I'd add a smidge of the ranch so basically the powdered packet will last me 10 weeks probably, but I needed a little something to make the taste good and I thought I'd eat it as a snack with cucumbers!!! Yum!

Well all have a wonderful day..... I'm sure I'll be back later before I go to work for the evening =)

Do you ever eat fish?

No, I can't bring myself to do it. I have always disliked the look, feel, smell of it... I occasionally will eat tuna with pickels in it haha! but that is on a rare commodity. Also, I do like lobster (strange, but I do) HOWEVER the butter will not do me any justice haha! So I stick with my chicken, turkey, turkey burgers, things like that. I do like sirloin steaks as well. I have really been watching carbs and calories and trying to find a balance.

I don't like fish, either. I can tolerate tuna, and when I'm dieting for a show, I just hold my nose and eat it. But it's hard to make myself eat it when I'm just dieting for the hell of it. Although, if I were competing for the grand prize of the Keto Cuts challenge, you betcha I would eat fish. Mind you, I would eat it as fast as possible and follow it up with a big dose of Crest whitening toothpaste.

If I'm getting close to show time, and not where I want to be with my prep, I have been known to eat fish twice a day. Let me just say. . . Ick. But, it works. I prefer tilapia and mahi-mahi. They are a bit milder and not as fishy as, say, cod.

Well I did get my weight training workout in yesterday.....

Squats --- a$$ to the grass as some would say. heheh
drop sets-- 60, 50, 40, 30, 20--- 10 reps each

Leg Press- 110 12 reps for 4 sets
Calf Raises- 110- 12 reps for 4 sets

bicep curls--- 20 pounds 12 reps for 3 sets
lateral raises- 10 pounds 12 reps for 3 sets
overhead tricep extensions-- 10 pounds 12 reps for 3 sets

This morning I was up and at it again!!! I got the Billy Blanks Boot Camp.. HOLY SH**!!! Talk about a workout!!! It kicked my butt.. using the resistance bands.. I did more push ups than I ever thought possible.. Definitely a great workout!!!!!!

I'm off now to do some weight training (I have to take a breather in between no matter which I do first.. I have asthma so I need to come get a drink and sorta chill for a minute, then I go back at it.. The way I figure is at least I'm doing it) Right?

Anyways, I have a new goal.. I'm going to try to focus on doing Billy Blanks Ab Boot Camp every night before bed... It's 35 minutes of hardcore intense ab work.. I want to focus in on my stomach and my legs... =)

Let the pounds shed, the toning shape me, and the sweat pour off of me because I am in for the long haul!!! Watch out!!!

Well I guess we will see hahaha 1 night down!! ahahah =)

I am such a night owl in the summer and have a REALLY hard time falling asleep, but last night I went down quickly however the pain in my stomach today tells me that it's going to hurt ahahh!

My hopes were that if I did it before bed it would break up my workouts, I wouldn't get a night craving at all (I drink tons of water before bed just to keep me from wanting to eat), and that hopefully it would make me tired to help me fall asleep faster...

I'll keep you posted ...

Hi everyone! I am so upset.. I'm out of commission for a few days.. I was in a car accident yesterday.. A lady pulled out in front of me on a major highway.. I'm very, very sore in my back and neck. I may need to head to the doctors tomorrow if I don't feel better. I feel like it's the strain from the impact..... my car will be getting fixed after all the nonsense!!! I'm just totally disgusted!! IT IS THE FIRST OFFICIAL DAY OF NEGATIVE ATTITUDE FROM THIS LITTLE LADY!! EXTREMELY UPSET!!!! PRAY FOR A QUICK RECOVERY SO I CAN GET RIGHT BACK AT IT.. I WAS DOING SO WELL.. AT LEAST MY DIET WILL SPEAK FOR ITSELF STILL AND HOPEFULLY THE LIFTING AND CARDIO WON'T BE ON THE STAND STILL LONG... I just don't want to chance anything because I feel a winded from the strain.

Diet is on track!!! Keto-Cuts are continuing to work effectively... =)
I'm still on a 1/2 scoop of Creadyl... major tingling today...I didn't take it the past three days with not exercising with the accident... I'm good though and back in action.......... So watch OUT!

Today was my first day taking BetaCene.. Seriously, this stuff has to be too good to be true!!!!!!!! ABSOLUTELY INCREDIBLE TASTE!!!! I felt soooooooooooo motivated!! I went to Zumba and kicked major butt!! The temps are smoking here where I live and let me tell you did I sweat!! I am not the type of person to sweat a whole lot, but I looked like I jumped in the pool. AFTER DAY 1 OF BETACENE-- WAY BETTER FEELING THAN CREADYL!!! I feel good, didn't get sick, felt a burst of energy (not quite as much as with Creadyl) but I definitely think I'll get better results since I didn't get sick from it!!! What a great product!!!!

Double T-- you can't be stopped with these mind boggling products! It feels so good because I was getting down on myself.. I felt so blah since I got in the accident. I have been exercising and eating right, but certainly not at strict since the heat has been unbearable. I have air in the house, but it didn't even help!! I am just hoping my last few weeks I could kick major butt!!!!

Well I am so loving this BetaCene it isn't even funny!! I'm thinking popsicles would be good for a day like today or everyday.. It's been SOO Hot!! I have been going to Zumba everything and this trainer is awesome!! I am getting a workout.. I got the scale today-- I'm at 109.. Since I started I dropped quite a bit.. I've been so busy I really haven't had a chance to get on here. My husband's unemployment stopped bc of Congress and then my car accident.. It's just been one thing after another and unfortunately I'm not winning money just spending it so I'm super stressed right now!!!GRR!

Is anyone experiencing problems with Keto 2/2?? I saw a post somewhere. I only had it at first, now I still am doing the 2/2 without any problems!! I really like it and BetaCene just adds to it.. I have to hide it so my husband doesn't try to sneak any on me!!!!!! Maybe I'll win some =)

I almost forgot to share my good news!! I went dress shopping yesterday because I have a wedding today and I'm a last minute person--- No longer wear a size Medium---SMALL ALL THE WAY!!!!!!!!! I'LL POST A PIC AFTER THE WEDDING TO SHOW EVERYONE HOW CUTE IT IS!!!

First - congrats on the weight loss and size change! That's got to make you feel awesome.

Second - I am so sorry to hear about your husband's unemployment. I went through that about 2 years ago, and it was a stress that I really had trouble dealing with. And it took us so long to recover financially from me having zero income. I was in sales and making no money on commission. So it was like being unemployed, but with no opportunity to have unemployment benefits. It was the worst time of my life. I really feel for the two of you. Just stay strong and try to keep in mind the things that matter most.

I just entered this competition yesterday and will be following along. Good Luck Girl!

I'm sorry I've been MIA everyone!!! It's been VERY hectic lately! I've been continuing to go to Zumba but I must admit. I fell off the wagon for a few days... Life took over and it's just been one thing after another. I am back on now though.. I refuse to go beyond a size 4 again in my life so I am back at it.. Zumba kicked major butt tonight. I never sweat as much as I did tonight. It was awesome! I feel so revived! I have continued taking my keto cuts daily 2/2. I also have continued to drink the wonderful product BetaCene. I can not rave enough about it! I felt a burst of energy to work out tonight at Zumba. Tomorrow is an off day from Zumba so I'm going to hit the Tae Bo in the am.. I'll get new pics up soon!!!! =)

Hello all!!! I kicked major A$$ at Zumba!!! I have been overly stressed lately!!! I am dealing with a lot with my car accident. I feel good, but I'm on the phone half the day and in tears the other half.. I'm in the process of getting a lawyer because neither insurance companies are doing their jobs as far as I am concerned!!

Enough of that nonsense!! I sweat everything I ate today I swear!! I am loving it because I take my Ketos 2/2 but then I drink BETACENE before Zumba and I just feel so good.. I am completely in love with it!!!!!!!

I hit the weights today and did an ab workout!!! And guess what else???? I am stripping my banister and steps in my house, wanna talk about a workout???????????? I think I sweat more doing that since I have to hand sand a great deal of it because of all the grooves!!!

So I have to ask.. with this weather? Anyone else not having an appetite?? I'm forcing myself to eat to keep my metabolism going so I don't go into starvation mode.. but all I am craving is popsicles and water----------- and here is the worst of it!!!!! My water is BROWN!!!!!! Yuck!!! A water leak struck today and brown water is all there was on "tap" today !!! Thank goodness I already had tons of water bottles in the fridge!!!

Also, some of you would be VERY proud of me!!-- I converted to tuna today.. Yes I said it, I didn't lie---tuna!!!!!!!!!!!!! Pulling through until the end~!!!!!!!!!!

Simpy
07-16-2010, 05:47 AM
Yes!!!!! Tuna's great because it's quick and easy and very portable. But switch to cod, tilapia or mahi mahi for home. Unless, of course your getting tuna fillets and not the packaged stuff, which is my assumption.

Progress pics will be coming shortly. I'd like to post new ones this coming weekend!! =) I am really kicking butt at Zumba and hitting the weights good again!!! I've gotten myself back at it and I can't believe I have converted to some "fishy" products. So tell me people--- what are your favorite ways to eat seafood or what seafood products can I eat that aren't slimy and fishy? I think I have put myself to the limit and I am going to push myself to try seafood since it's good for me and will really help me kick butt to win this contest!!!! I have about 6-7 weeks left which I have to really look at because I know it's somewhere close to that........ so do tell share with me your deepest and darkest secrets to eating seafood =)

I'm off to go lift now....... catch everyone tonight!!!!!!

I posted my deepest, darkest fish secret in here yesterday. But it must be so secret that it disappeared. My secret is season it with as much hot spices (preferably cayenne) as you can, and eat it quickly. Fish is something I eat because I have to, not because I enjoy it.

I was at a major kick ass kickboxing class this morning. I am going to a Martial Arts studio where I live on Saturdays to kickbox now. I was dripping with sweat you would think I just got out of the shower. I also kicked major butt at Zumba three times this week, some Billy at home, and lifted. Our heat index is still ridiculous where I live. I'll be out of town a few days this week. I'm heading to Chicago for some business....=)

I haven't tried the fish "secret" yet, but I am going to put my husband to the test to make it for me haahah!!! Let's hope I could do this aha!!!!

I am almost finished my bottle of Betacene so I need to order more soon, as well as ketos... I am still loving them!!
