OF J. Hamilton for 2B R. Weeks

or

OF M. Kemp for 2B K. Johnson

I would do the first one. Weeks is off to a great start and Hamilton hasn't been able to match that great year he had in 2008. I would hold off on the second trade though. I don't trust Kelly Johnson to keep the pace he's at now...

I have both Weeks and Johnson, I'm attempting to dump one or the other for an OF

I had the same problem with too many first baseman especially after I added Smoak. But to your point, reverse what I said in the other post. I'd do the Johnson for Kemp trade.

i agree...though i have a huge weeks bias...
if the guy can finish a whole season he'll be a .270 30/80 guy with over 100 runs scored, an .obp 100 points higher than his average and 20 or so steals...

i also love kemp and what he can offer...i'd deal johnson for him in a second especially if i had another offensive second baseman such as weeks to take over the position...

The problem is getting the other guy to accept....

ah, so these are trades you're gonna offer???

you're gonna need to add something with johnson to pry kemp loose...
and, this is just me, but i wouldn't waste my time going after hamilton...

Yea I'd agree. When I make trades, I feel like if I'm getting the Best player out of the deal, I don't mind adding something extra. And Kemp is easily the best player. Especially if you still have some quality left in free agency/waiver wire to take up that extra spot left. That's just my strategy though...
