I have finally uploaded my pictures which means that I am off to the races. My Creadyl and NO Beta arrived in the mail earlier today. I was at a friend's house at the time. My Mom, called me and told me that it had arrived so I rushed home, took my before pictures and put them on my bodyspace and double T sports site profiles. I took 1 serving of each supplement, and plan to do a full body workout soon. After I do the workout I plan to write on here again.

Right now, after taking the NO Beta and have started drinking the Creadyl, I am starting to feel more alert, and more and more motivated to get lifting. So, rather than rambling on, that is what I am going to do. I will be back to let you know how it works in around an hour.

Glad to be a part of the Challenge!

Okay, so I have finished my workout. I am going to do this workout, or at least one similar to this, once a week and update it to show my full body improvements. I did not train legs in this workout because I don't have any leg equipment but I do power walk once a day, that really affects the legs.

This was the first real workout that I have done in a long time. Most days I only do one or two sets, but now that I have my supplements I am motivated to really do good workouts and bring out some improvements. I have several goals for the upcoming 4 months. I want to get stronger, more vascular, more ripped, gain more endurance and lose fat. I want to accomplish a full transformation, and possibly hit the stage someday.

Before I even started my workout I could feel my pulses pumping. I was becoming more alert, and was definitely mentally prepared for an all out workout. I took a full dose of 6 NO Beta Tablets and about 1.1 scoops of the Creadyl. Like it said to do on the direction, I drank about half of the Creadyl before the workout, and sipped from it throughout the workout.

I was pretty energetic for the first 9 sets, here is what I did:

Bent over Dumbbell Rows with 70 pounds
1)10 reps with my right arm, and 8 with my left
2) 10 with both, I used some momentum for my left side.
3) 8 right, 7 left

Dumbbell Curls with 30 pounds (One arm at a time)
1) 9 right, 8 left
2) 10 both
3) 8 right, 7 left

Crunches (3 sets of 25 reps)

*By the end of the first 9 sets I had a super pump. I was still very eager to continue on with my workout.

For the next 9 sets, it is obvious that I was getting tired, but I still put everything into completing each set.

Dumbbell Chest Presses with 60 pounds (One arm at a time from the floor)
1) 8 reps with both arms
2) 4 reps with both arms
3) 3 reps with both arms

Overhead Dumbbell Presses with 30 pounds (One arm at a time)
1) 6 with both
2) 6 with both, but it was a little more difficult
3) Still got 6 with both, but it took some cheating... Like punching the air.

Dumbbell Wrist Curls with 30 pounds
1) 12 reps with both
2) 8 reps with both
3) 8 reps with both

*About halfway through the second portion of the workout my forearms had an intense pump. They were literally solid to touch. My arms were starting to get tired, and it especially shows with the chest presses. Also.. This is a home workout, and I am working with what I have. But you know, Brock Lesnar started training on a farm without any equipment, I read in a muscle and fitness magazine, and look where he is now. That shows that it really doesn't matter how much equipment one has as long as they work hard.

Now, I still feel very pumped. I mentally feel like I can do more training. But physically, I don't want to over-train, so I will not punish my muscles anymore today. Throughout the week, I am going to train body groups more separately, as a bodybuilder would train. Next week I am going to do a workout just like this one. If I can do more sets I will do more sets. The purpose of this full body workout is to put myself to the test, and follow my progress.

Immediately following the workout, I took pictures. So if you view my body space profile, you will be able to see my original before pictures that are for the competition. And you can compare those with pictures of me after I finished the workout. When I looked at them, it seemed like the biggest difference was the killer shoulder pump. But today is the first day I took the supplement. Can't wait to see my one month comparisons.

Good job bro way to get started - now here are some tips for back training avoid engaging the biceps most people I see doing back are really doing bics and foremarm.

Loosen your grip on the bar it will help dis-engage the foremarms and don't bend yoru wrists

strat the movements by pulling with your elbows and triceps rather than bringing your hands towards your body

Get some wrist straps

One of the REPS please get him a link to the Format for the LOG

Bro remember something about NO-Beta and CReaDyl - don't use more than 1 scoop at a time and NO-Beta on an empty stomach acts much different than after you eat. My dose is 4 or 5 with 1 scoop of CreaDyl

Good start and good luck

Great start man! How is your diet?

Since I did not write my first post correctly, I am going to do that now.

I am 23 years old. I got into bodybuilding when I was 15. Ever since then, I have been pretty much obsessed. I went through a phase recently where I did not train often, but I have at least been strong once before, so I can gain that back more quickly. As of right now, I am 5'9, 265 pounds, 40 inch waist. I intend to lift weights 4 days a week for this competition, on my days off I will do moderate cardio. I am sticking to a clean diet. The only sugar I take in is in my coffee. Other than that, a little bit of fructose. I avoid as much trans fat and saturated fat as possible, but I do not avoid fat. Almonds, I particularly like to eat, which is a great source of omega fats. I eat a lot of protein. 1-2 days a week I will have a steak, and the other days I either eat skinless chicken or white turkey. I have 1-2 protein shakes per day. It is a low calorie, and cheap wal mart protein, but it still tastes good, and has 30g of protein including the milk. Also, I enjoy to eat fiber 1 cereal. My favorite dessert is low fat yogurt, with sugar free whipped cream, berries and fiber 1 cereal for a crunch. It is low calorie, and takes care of my sweet tooth. My goals for this competition is to build my muscle mass back, while trying to lose as much fat as possible. I want to be able to see some quality definition. After this competition is over, I hope to be in good enough shape to pursue a career as a personal trainer, or even compete.

Every 1-2 weeks I am going to do a full body workout, and copy down everything that I do. Hopefully I will see visible and quick progress, such as more reps, sets and heavier weights. One of my main goals for this log is to create something that will motivate it's readers. An example would be the animal pack Ads. Every Ad makes me want to get out there and build thick slabs of muscle. I want to induce others with that same feeling. I also hope to advertise my ability to write, in case there are any companies that need writers.

For the duration of the competition I will be drinking Orange Cream flavored Creadyl, and I'll be taking NO Beta. Today, I tried taking it in a 3 pill dosage, tomorrow I will try 4-5. The creadyl is great tasting. I once took NO Explode and could barely choke it down. The Orange Cream Creadyl tastes just like a cream-sickle aka one of my favorite cheat foods. So now I don't have to cheat to find that taste. The NO Beta works better than any pre workout supplement I have ever taken, and I have tried quite a few different supplements. And the pump that it creates lasts all day long. I love it. Aside from Double T Sports supplements, I have my low cost Vanilla Protein Powder, and GNC brand Glutamine, so I can workout just as hard the next day without becoming too sore.

I hope that everyone that reads this Log will enjoy it. I also hope that it will inspire others that have similar goals that I have. Perhaps those with less knowledge about bodybuilding will learn a thing or two as well. I am Christian, and I find a lot of inspirational verses from the Bible. One that I first read on Eddie Robinson's facebook page, is "I can do all things through God who strengthens me." I say that over to myself when I am having a difficult time completing a set, or lifting a new weight.

Feel free to add me to your bodyspace friends. I enjoy having people that I can help motivate on my friends list, and also people to motivate me.

Yesterday at the gym I trained Chest and Biceps. I did 12 sets per body part. It was a great training session. My uncle will be training with my for the duration of this contest, and he is as much into bodybuilding as I am. This morning, we trained Legs, Triceps, and Abs. We did 14 sets per body part. Our intentions are to rebuild our lost muscle as fast as possible. Despite what many people recommend, we are using pretty heavy weights with low reps right away. When I first started training, even though I knew nothing about it, I continuously challenged myself with heavier and heavier weights, to try to build the muscle up quickly. If I could do that then, without really knowing the proper form, I can do that more safely now.

Yesterday, I was pretty tired throughout the workout for two reasons. I didn't get much sleep the night before, and I ate very little before the workout while experimenting with the "take on an empty stomach" directions that are found on the back of the NO Beta and Creadyl. This morning, I was better prepared. I got around 9 hours of sleep last night. I woke up at 5 am, and ate my first meal which was fiber 1 cereal with 2% milk. At 7, I drank a protein shake with light soy milk, and 1 heaping teaspoon of glutamine in it. At 8:30, I ate some jello and took 5 NO Beta Tablets, and I drank my Creadyl on the way to the gym. I live in Canada, and the gym is in the United States, so that is why I drink my Creadyl before the workout. Don't want the custom's officers to question my supplements. Better to be safe. (By the way, I live on an island, and the only way off, other than a ferry that only runs in the summer time is a bridge that goes into the states. So that's why I train in the states.)

For my workout yesterday, we started out with flat bench presses super set with EZ bar curls. We weren't able to do very much weight, since we have to work on gaining back the muscle we used to have. But, I got a good pump all the same. Remember I was also fatigued before the workout. We tend to make up our workout as we go. We've written down workouts many, many times throughout the last 6 years. God only knows how many pieces of paper there are floating around with workouts written on them. We have a good idea what exercises to do. But, we decided to use the Smith Machine for all of our chest exercises for a little while. We have been using free weights more than machines in our previous workouts before we took a break, and are able to balance the bars/dumbbells well. We think that the smith machine would allow us to build better muscle with heavier weights. We did decline presses then incline presses. For biceps, after the EZ curls, we did dumbbell curls with one arm at a time to failure, then concentration curls. We always do super sets, or larger. At the end of the workout, we wanted to do something to really finish off our muscles, so we did one set on the PecDec machine. We started at 120 pounds, and went down by 20 at a time as a drop set. When we do alternate dumbbell curls as drop sets we call them "runners," because after the first drop in weight, our muscles become so fatigued that we have to either start swinging the weight, or doing hammer curls, it looks like we are running... the way we move our arms. We started at 45 pounds, then went to 35, then dropped 5 at a time down to 20.

Today for we did 4 exercises per body part. We started off with squats. We shouldn't have used so much weight on the last set, I thought I injured my knee on the last rep of 220 pounds, but I managed to stretch out the pain. We did them on the Smith Machine, since the gym doesn't have a regular squat rack. We did tri-sets. While doing squats we also used the dip machine, and then did sit ups on a decline bench. By the end of the first exercises we had a decent muscle pump. I let my uncle try a serving of my NO Beta. Next, we went to the leg press machine. We used one leg at a time, since the machine only goes up to 550 pounds, and my max leg press in the past was 1200 pounds. We went up to 510 pounds, and we did use 2 legs for that weight this time. Along with the leg press, we did triceps pushdowns, and V-Ups for abs. Then we moved on to Leg Curls, using 120 pounds, 150, then 180 for 2 sets. We did the french press, and used an Ab machine with enough weight that we could barely get 4 reps, but we sure felt a pump. After that we did leg extensions for 10 reps for set with 250 pounds. We only did 2 sets because we were getting pretty fatigued by this point. We also did close gripped bench presses and crunches. After the workout, my uncle went on to use the stair stepper, while I did 4 sets of calf presses, on the leg press machine. I did around 25 reps per set using the 510 pounds we were previously pressing. I got a really good pump out of it. I prefer to do cardio on the roads rather than machines. On machines time goes so slow it seems like.

I'd rate the supplements with a 9/10... I'd like to give it a total 10, but there was probably something that would throw that off, and I have a difficult time rating them. All I can say I guess is they work very well.

I know, I wouldn't see an extreme amount of vascularity while training because of my body fat. But, I've been able to see the veins going throughout my forearms, up my biceps, across my shoulders and down through my chest. When I trained a few years ago I wasn't able to see those veins, so I am going to predict that I see them because of the pump I get from the supplements.

Our next training day is Monday and we will be training either back or shoulders and traps.

Today is off. I got a decent night's sleep, and I will be trying to consume a good amount of lean protein to help recover my muscles. I took a small dose of NO Beta to keep it in my system, as well as a scoop of creadyl. In about an hour I will have a protein shake with a heaping teaspoon of glutamine in it.

When I got up this morning, I my calves, quads, hams, forearms, chest and abs were sore. I hope to recover as much as possible by tomorrow, but I can only do so much. I went for a 1km walk when I woke up this morning, and may go for another later on tonight.

If i could make a suggestion, try adding some glutamine in with whatever you drink during your workout. Glutacene has helped me more than i can begin to tell you with my muscle soreness. In this kind of contest its the person that recovers quicker that has the edge

I doubley recommend this suggestion. :p Glutacene has saved me with the squat program I just finished today. 4 days of squatting each week is tough, but I've not had any issues with muscles soreness.

So I haven't updated in a while. Honestly I kind of fell of the bike for a while, with a lot of drinking, partying, and lack of exercise. But I've been back at it, and although I know longer expect the win the contest, I can still have fun and work toward a better progress picture.

For supplements, I have cut out the NO Beta as regular use. I use it once in a while; 3 tablets at once. But I find when I use it regularly it bothers my head. There is this vein that is at the top, over to the side of my head, and throughout regular use it is always pumping, and I was getting migraines. I'm still using the creadyl every day though. I find that when I drink the creadyl I can almost instantly feel it hydrating my muscles. I feel more full.

I am going to go over what type of exercise I have been doing. I am doing the workout 3-4 times per week. It's not as much of a bodybuilding workout. More a stay healthy workout.

About 5-6 days per week I work. I am self employed. What I do, is pick up these shellfish called Periwinkles. And sell them. I spent 3-4 hours a day picking, when the tides are low. I usually get 40-60 pounds and then have to carry them 200 to up to 600 meters to the car. I lay the sack of periwinkles across the top of my shoulders and just walk. It really works up a sweat but that obviously isn't my workout. Just thought I'd explain my job a little. And for those who are wondering, they are worth 90 cents a pound. Not the best job, but better than nothing.

Here is the workout that I will be repeating for a few weeks. Then I'll add weight to each dumbbell and continue. Try to keep as much strain of the muscles as possible:

First exercise is like a snatch. Except I don't press it over my head. Just lift to the shoulder. I'm using 70 pound dumbbells for this, and plan to increase reps as much as I can for the first little while, then increase to 80 pounds and so on.

Second, I continue with the 70 pound dumbbell and do bent over rows.

Third, continuing with the 70 pounds I do deadlifts. I find while using a dumbbell you can hit the sides of the back more. Then at the top of the movement I hold a shrug to include the traps more.

Fourth, Using a 40 pound dumbbell I press over my head.

Fifth, using that 40 pounder I do standing curls.

Sixth, Push ups. I do as many as I can with strict form, then drop my knees and do as many as I can like that.

Seventh is a superset between lying leg raises and crunches. I try to do a couple sets of these.

Eighth, to be added today. Got a milk jug tied to a string, which is screwed to a cut off broom handle. I will be using this to train the forearms. Probably a couple sets per arm.

So that is my workout. I will keep you guys updated a little more often, and let you know how things are going. I'm going to have to trim the hair off my back before I post another pic. Give me 2-3 weeks and I'll add one. You can expect added muscle mass. But the beer and partying didn't help me lose any stomach fat.
