View Full Version : 3 days to make as much change as possible, need help

Firstly just let me say, i'm doing this for a cancer research charity.

But basically, all i need to do is look as good as possible topless for a period of 3 hours. and i've got 3 days to prepare, but its off season in australia and my bf is a little high (12% ish), i wanna look as good as possible but i'm really not sure what to do.

cut carbs then carbs up?
low sodium?
etc?

obviously cals need to be low

reps for help

(also sorry for making a stupid thread in this section, but it's for a good cause)

3 days is so little time to do anything dietry and training wise, get yourself a good spray tan haha.

What do you know? Another one coming to seek help from the magicians! No disrespect intended, but this section is regularly bombarded with questions like "How can I look good for my pool party next weekend?" Im glad youre doing a charity event, but if your charity is dependent on you looking significantly better in 3 days, they are in trouble. The fact is that bodybuilders do not have a "bag of tricks" which makes them look significantly better from one week out. Its months and months of dieting to extremely low levels of body fat. Thats it. Sure we deplete and load carbs, but that only makes a noticeable difference at stage-lean bodyfat levels. Im sitting at 12 % BF right now and there isnt a thing in the world that changes my appearance from day to day. Bloated and spilled or dry.....im still fat and I cant tell.

the best thing i could tell you to do is go keto for those three days to shed some water weight... other than that there's not much hope...

yeah i know dude. basically all i have to do is serve drinks topless at a sex in the city 2 premiere. i've followed a few logs before (quelly and his hammy tear etc), i'm not trying to be disrepectful to the effort that goes into contest prep

i'm thinking probably the greastest difference will be to not be physically bloated from food - look more like in the morning than i do at night if that makes sense

the best thing i could tell you to do is go keto for those three days to shed some water weight... other than that there's not much hope...

i was thinking this, but i doubt keto will start that quickly. not sure if that would make me look flat too

You're 12% at 6,1, 200lbs and all you have to do is serve drinks topless. 10-12% with decent muscle mass is pretty much ideal in terms of what the general public consider a good body and that's exactly who will be viewing you.. the general public.. I don't think you need to do a whole lot but hitting the sunbeds will make you look marginally leaner..

and I'm not kidding that is your best bet to look as lean as possible

Alot of people in this section are on contest prep diets (myself included) so that might have something to do with it. :)

I've found the gluten and fake sugars really make me retain water and bloat me up. If I were you I would try not to eat anything overly salty for the next few days and drink plenty of water. Also I wouldn't chew gum the day of the event as that can cause stomach bloating. A tan will help immensly. Just my 2 cents. Have fun and good for you for doing something for a good cause.
