Hi Everyone, My name is Ronda.I am 46 years old. Im here to begin the final frontier of my transformation. I started losing weight this last January when I weighed in at 312. I have had osteo arthritus in both of my knees for years and had been using a cane almost always for about the last 3 years.
I am now down to 253 and no longer rely on the cane 24/7. I want to lose about 103 pounds more.
I'm not sure if I can lose the 103 in the 16 week transformation but I'm sure going to give it my best shot.
I tried the Keto Cuts for the first time this morning before I did my cardio. Wholly cow I was sweating like crazy. Good stuff.

Thanks for the warm welcome,
I am currently doing 50 minutes of cardio a day. Due to my arthritis I am unable to do the treadmill, eliptical or bike for my cardio. So its aerobics for me. Then
I lift 3 days a week.
my current diet is low carb, low fat, brown rice and rolled oats. What kind of diet are you on? Your picture looks great.
Im new to all this kind of stuff. Thanks for engaging me in conversation.

Had a huge melt down at the gym today. Did double cardio all week long and was SHOCKED that I had only lost 1 pound. What a day to start the contest. Since then have done some research and realized that maybe i was doing to much cardio for what I want to accomplish.

Rhonda, please forgive me for taking so long to get in here. I never saw your thread until today.
I'm thrilled to have you on board with this contest. I notice that you said you have already lost a lot of weight. Congratulations! But you were upset to have only lost 1 pound last week. That may be a normal amount of progress for you right now. Have you changed up your workout routine or diet recently? Changing things up when you start to slow down or plateau is the way to get it moving again.

My son got married today. When I started my weight lose transformation this past January I could hardly walk and had used a cane for the past 3 years. I wanted to dance at my sons wedding and dance I did. A alot! it was almost magical. I cant express how happy i am that i was able to change my body to the point of being able to dance again.

6:20 am 25 minutes cardio (treadmill) *******i have been using the Keto Cuts for 2 weeks now. I have been sweating like crazy during my cardio. I believe this is from the Keto Cuts. I love it. I had used 2 other fat burners prior to the Keto Cuts and the results were minimal. This product is great. I can feel my core heating up.

The lasagna was great. I subsituted the raw cabbage for the pasta, used fat free cottage cheese and mozzrella made with skim milk and no sugar added spaghetti sauce. It was delicious.
Im super excited about losing weight. I do at times find it kind of emotional. Its a little overwhelming. I told my husband sometimes i feel like an episode of "The Biggest Loser"

1:00 pm layed in the sun for about an hour at the park. My life has changed so much with all the weight loss and the weight training. I cant even remember the last time i layed in the sun. The more muscle I develope the more interested I am becoming in changing my overall appearance. My husband and I celebrated our 14th anniversary this day. He is such a great inspiration.

**when training I always go on the treadmill for 5 minutes before and 5 minutes after. Today when I was doing the 5 minutes after my training I felt so invigorated I was feeling super charged. Im not sure but it could possibly be from the Creadyl.??

1 can Hunts "No Sugar added" spaghetti sauce
1 pound mozzarella cheese (made with skim milk)
1/2 pound lean ground beef and 1/2 pound turkey sausage browned and drained good
fresh raw spinach
1 pound fat free cottage cheese (rinse this in a collandar, mix in 1 tablespoon italian seasoning)
spray lasagna pan with Pam. 1 Layer of the cabbage leaves, then spread the meat mixture with 1/2 the can of sauce and 1 cup of the cheese. add another layer cabbage. Spread the spinach and the add the cottage mixture. Sprinkle with grated parmesean cheese and 1/2 cup of the mozzarella. Add another layer of the cabbage. Spread the remaining sauce on top , sprinkle the rest of the mozzarella cheese and grated parmesean cheese. Bake 325 for about 2 hours. Enjoy

Which Creadyl flavor are you using?
I prefer the Orange Creme.
Sometimes adjusting the ratio of powder to water will assist with flavor preferences, as well!! :)

What flavor do you have? I have no trouble with the orange flavor, but the lime is a bit stout for me. I found that I really had to have it watered down, or if I mixed it with a flavored vitamin drink (I liked the lime mixed with strawberry drink) that helped a lot.

Today is a non traing day and I have chosen to reflect on my progress thus far.
Today is the end of the first part of my journey to a fit and healthy life style. I started January 3,2010. I weighed in at 312. The whole family went on a healthy diet. I have been morbidly obese for over the last 14 years. I have osteoarthritis in both of my knees with bone on bone on each side. I have hypothyroidism. Surprisingly I don’t have diabetes , high blood pressure or high cholesterol. I had virtually dieted myself to obesity. Crazy fad diets, Lose 10 pounds, gain 20. I've gone on diets and by noon forgot that I had even started a diet. I've had the big final feast countless times because the diet was always starting tomorrow. I've blamed so many other things for the fat and at the end of the day when you get right down to it the culprit was there in the mirror staring me in the face.
I was my own worse enemy. I have robbed my family, my husband and myself of being the best I can be. Being fat, unfit, and out of shape is horrible. The cane, the scooter, the chair in the tub, all horrible. All gone now. 46 and getting fit. It even rhymes. Its time. I started a 12 week transformation on bodybuilding.com in March. The encouragement and inspiration from my wonderful husband Sean. Always by my side. I began to feel muscle. Muscle in my thighs first. Then in my forearms, my chest, arms and I now can even see the outline of where my abs are( they are still covered by fat but they are there). I’m excited to see the transformation. As the end drew near for the 12 week program I was following, my husband Sean told me about a transformation contest that was beginning in May. At the start of the contest I would have 4 weeks left on the first weight training program that I was on and then I would do it again for 12 more weeks and that would take me to the end of the 16 week contest. So on May 2, 2010 I signed up for the Double T Transformation contest. I was already on my second brand of fat burner that wasn’t really working for me so I was looking forward to trying the Keto Cuts. I love this product. I had no idea I could sweat so much. I have tried both flavors of the Creadyl product and I was unfortunately having a problem with them. I thought I was going to have to bow out of the contest and Sean said for me to try the N0-Beta. I used this product during my last 4 workouts and I’m all in. This product has changed my workout. I can feel my muscles getting pumped up. My energy is great. Next week I am planning on trying 4 at a time. I just received the Wild Berry Glutacene and am looking forward to using this product. I have read good things about its benefits. Well I have 74 more pounds and 12 weeks to go. I would be interested if anyone has any suggestions on supplements to take prior to cardio that will help with building the muscle in my legs since I am limited to what I can do.

This workout was redonkulus(for me)!! I increased all my weights and was finally able to lift the 35 pound barbell over my head for the skull crushers.

The diet today was not stellar. didnt eat until 3:30 chicken, fruit salad, and beans then the same thing again @ about 6:30.
Plan on taking casein @ about 9pm and going to bed. will edit if this changes.
SUPER CHARGED about my workout coming up on Wednesday to try the stack again.

I wouldn't take NO-Beta pre-cardio. It is a pump product, so I would only use it for your pre-workouts. Sip on a couple scoops of Glutacene during your cardio, and that should be enough.

5:15 30 minutes cardio I love the sweat that I'm getting from this product. I know this is aiding me in my weight loss. My clothes are soaked when I'm done and the sweat is pouring out of my face. Its a GOOD sweat. A good sweet sweat!!!

6am knee still out of commision so bummer no cardio today.
8am weigh in day at the gym. 232 -thats 21 pounds since i started the contest and 80 over allso far. what a motivator. Speaking of motivation this contest is a great motivator and the suppliments are a huge help.

Today is a non training day.
I have to cycle off the fat burners for a week. I've been on them for about 9 weeks now and will need to cycle off for a week prior to the end of the contest so I'm doing it now. Also I'm still layed up from my knee so no cardio yet :(

WooHoo! You've become addicted to feeling good. I LOVE IT!!! There is a certain point where exercise stops being painful, and starts being fun and necessary. Seems like you've passed that point and made it into the good part. It only gets better.

leg. for this its the same each week. 3 sets of 50 long leg lifts 3 sets of 50 short ones. thats all i can do for now. i just started to use the calf press 2 weeks ago so hopefully in the future I will be able to start doing some weight workouts with my legs soon.
fly 3x12 @80 * increase, its great my body feels powerful. My muscles have been wanting this workout.
reardelt 10x 70,10x 65,10x 60 * increase. The excitement from being able to increase my weight adds to my workout making me crave it more.
overhead press 3x12 @ 35* increase. the last time I used this machine was 4/23 and my weight was 15 pounds. when I started on this machine I thought that i would start at 20 pounds since its been so long since i had used it last. it flew up. WOW I ended up increasing the weight 20 pounds more over the last 6 weeks. I was not using the No-Beta then so what a difference this product has made in my WO.

I've got that good exhausted feeling of satisfaction again. This feeling seems to grow with each WO. :0

OOPS my friday log went in twice.

I usually update at the end of the day or the next day but I was too excited to let ya'll know that I was able to get on the treadmill again this morning for 30 minutes. I'm so happy. Thanks for all the encouragement that everyone gave me while i was waiting for this to happen again. even though I made it to 30 minutes on the treadmill and was happy with that I wanted to do more. I don't want to over do it but when I got off the treadmill it was as if I was floating. the natural high was outstanding. :p

Thanks for your encouragements. Only complaint about the weekend is that it was too short. Hope yours was well also. 3 days to go for another one. I think we spent about 3 hours at the gym last Sunday between the cardio and the WO.

Today we went camping. And well the day started off all and good the diet wasn’t. we didn’t eat again until much later in the day. And lets just call it camping food. The girls and I had a great time swimming. It was nice to get some sun. The last time we went camping Sean and I were both over 300 pounds. This time around it was very different. We really enjoyed ourselves. Its wonderful to be able to more around with ease.

This was a good work out tonight. My legs are tired. But it’s a good tired. My thigh muscles feel so pumped up during this workout. I am really getting a charge out of the muscle increase

motivation still down, but I’m working on it. Wish I could pinpoint the reason. Sometimes the journey seems a little long in the tooth even though I’m pleased with my success so far.

2 lbs lean ground beef (95%)
1 packet au jus mix
1 cups raw oats
2 whole egg
4egg whites
roll in balls, cook in cupcake pan (sprayed with Pam olive oil spray)
325 for about 40 minutes these freeze well

Minnesota does look beautiful ..... I was there only once years ago and the state really left an impression of natural beauty on me! :)
I LOVE the four seasons, as well ... but winter just makes me want spring .... :p

*8pm the kids are begging me to take them shopping for what they consider "real food". I guess i never really thought about it. This will be interesting because for the most part we have eaten pretty much the same thing since March when I started the weight training. I dont think that I will have too many problems with temptation. As long as we dont have a spaghetti night I should be fine.

I know the cardio is good for me but it just seemed that I wasnt really getting the best of treadmill. I know it was because of not having taken the KC. From then on I have them with me always. I now carry a small baggie of them in my purse. Don't leave home without them....

This was a great workout. I was able to do something different with my legs. :) The muscle that I have built up in my legs is getting stronger and I should be able to progress with the leg workouts. I will still be baby stepping it for a while to avoid injury to my knees.
I'm totally digging on the early am WO. I wish Sean liked the am workout. I would do it in the morning more often.

this was another great leg workout for me. Im excited that i've been able to continue with the leg workouts. its great to see and feel the muscle in my legs. I remember when i first started working out that I felt the muscle in my right thigh and it felt like a walnut. its funny now, but then it was odd. its gotten much larger now.
My motivation is back up now. when i was doing cardio after tonights workkout i felt empowered , very satisfied with my workout. Happy that the depression and lack of motivation from the beginning of last week were gone. I'm glad that even though my motivation was down last week that I didn't do anything crazy like sabatoge my diet or slack off my workouts. Im glad i had self-control to get through it.
Thank you to everyone on this site for your words of encouragement, it means a lot to me. Super duper kudos to Sean for always being there for me.

Today will not be a training or cardio day. This morning we have the parade and then there will be a lot more walking by the end of the fireworks tonight. So the big challenge will be to stay on the DIET as much as possible.
we started the day with weighing in . i weighed the same as last week but the shorts that i bought a month ago for today are loose and as a matter of fact will probably go in the fat clothes pile with in about 2 more weeks. I am please. :)
had the usual breakfast and anyone that reads my log knows thats the 1/2 cup oats, 5 egg whites with salsa. I had to skip the Ketocuts today. I only have enough for 3 days and the order i placed on the 30th will not be here until July 7th. When we first started ordering it only took 3 days to get our supplements. Now its 7. so i'll need to skip a day so i have enough for the days i do cardio and lift.
The diet went pretty well today other than we probably didn't eat often enough. oh yeah and we had 1 MGD light. Man that tasted good. We also were going to drink a hard lemonade (light) but it didnt taste good, just poured it out.
The fireworks were great. didnt get to sleep until midnight (this is late for us) and i had been up since 3:30 this morning. Fell asleep before taking the casein.

I am also using the No-Beta product. I take 5 pre workout. I dont really feel the "tingle" that others are speaking of. I do know that this product can really make the blood move. with my health issues I'm all about circulation and getting my blood pumping. When my husband first tried it his chest was huge. We couldn't even get the tape measure to go all the way around his chest.

I tried the Creadyl when i first started the contest first the lemon lime. not good so then i tried the orange cream. I was having difficulties keeping it down. I don't really drink sweet drinks so i was having problems with the flavors. I did try the Glutacene Wild berry. I did like the flavor for this drink and at one point had asked if there were any plans to make a wildberry flavor Creadyl. No reply...... Here is my review of the Creadyl-this is in comparison to not taking any creatine product.
Drive -I didn't really experience much difference. 3/10
Pump - not a huge difference in my wo. Only a slight pump 3/10
Strength -same thing 3/10
Energy -only a slight increase 3/10
Taste-this was the biggest hurdle. The orange flavor was better than the lemon lime for me. I just wasnt able to deal with all the sweetness and felt nauseous during my workout. 0/10
total for this product 24%==12/50
(i was actually putting creatine powder in with the product to enhance its performance. I have now switched to just the powder in my water during workout) I really wanted to like this product. sorry :( but you do want honesty.

I like the orange far better than the lemon-lime with the Creadyl, so I'll back you on that. Like you, I find the product to be rather sweet. I only do one scoop, and I use a ton of water. I've also found that if I mix it in a vitamin water it actually softens the flavor quite a bit. You'd think it would be opposite of that, given that the Creadyl is flavored and the Vitamin Water is flavored, but for some reason it works.

well i have made it back to the log. thank you for the well wishes. I did keep my workout journal and will try to get all those entered by tomorrow. I ddnt keep a diet log but it is the same as the last 12 weeks for the most part a clean diet. I took 4 Keto cuts a day am and afternoons everyday.
Today was the first day of week 13. today was a weigh day, i'm down to 213 so i've lost 40 pounds since i started the contest. and 99 since January 3rd. The muscle that i have developed still amazes me. it feels great. today was also a picture day and i am again please with what i'm seeing. This is hard work but it is so worth it. more tomorrow. and thanks again.

I have been having a complete hunger feeling about 10 minutes after I eat lunch and also afternoon snack (i eat approx same time everyday during work week). I can't seem to shake this. I know I'm full but it feels like my stomach is clawing at me from the inside. For lunch i usually have about 1 cup broccoli or lettuce and some chicken breast. and snack is either 1 hard boiled egg white and 1/2 a meatball or a meal replacement shake. I do not have this feeling prior to eating. Has anyone else experienced this before.

Hi Everyone, My name is Ronda.I am 46 years old. Im here to begin the final frontier of my transformation. I started losing weight this last January when I weighed in at 312. I have had osteo arthritus in both of my knees for years and had been using a cane almost always for about the last 3 years.
I am now down to 253 and no longer rely on the cane 24/7. I want to lose about 103 pounds more.
I'm not sure if I can lose the 103 in the 16 week transformation but I'm sure going to give it my best shot.
I tried the Keto Cuts for the first time this morning before I did my cardio. Wholly cow I was sweating like crazy. Good stuff.
