Hi all. New to figure comp(just started in jan) competed in a show beginning of the month and did pretty good. Judges said I looked too hard on top and was showing too much muscle striation in shoulders. I have always been broad shouldered and muscular on top and I am also a fitness instructor so I have to use my arms inmy workouts alot. Does anyone know how I can fix this? Any suggestions welcome!

Start competing as a bodybuilder or get fatter. Seriously...striation comes in the absence of fat.....its just muscle detail being revealed. So either fatten up or start looking at bodybuilding.

Don't flex so hard when you do a side profile shot. It will make your striations come out less. Also, don't carb deplete.

I'm 16 and I've got striation on my chest and my shoulders
To get rid of it I do I need to eat lots of fatty foods and would that make me lose my six pack and make me put weight on my face ?
