No your the only one... For the most part the bar begins to bend, depending how new or old it is at like 315. Thats a guess.

Edit: Use chalk. How do you think the guys pullin 600+ feel :P

I am so sick of seeing your smug posts. Youd think you were a god or something. I hate to break it to you but you
1. look like a 10 year old girl
2. your stats match the look
3. you SUCK at this game, you need to uit talking like you know **** and hit the gym. Maybe you can get an avatar tht actually looks like you can lift more than a pubescent girl.

there is a bar out there called a texas power bar that bends more than usuall to help people not to jerk. the bar bending is normal and it will only bend more as you go up in wait. try to focus on the weight not the bar. good luck

can you actually see the bar bending?

i do deadlifts opposite a mirror and sometimes try to peak downwards at the bar in the mirror to see if its bending but i just cant do it. i cant look down or ill fuk the lift up.

Any bar is going to bend once you get some weight on it. An olympic bar is made to be flexible to allow for whip when doing the oly lifts. Power bars are stiffer, but they are going to bend at some point.

Remember the motto "If the bar ain't bendin' you're just pretendin' "

At the '86 Senior Nationals, they had changed up the equipment without letting anyone know. The squat bar was a longer bar with the inside collors moved out a bit. In training we used the Texas power bar and I could would have my hands touching the inside collars so it really kept me tight under the bar. So at the beginning of the contest you measure what height you need the rack at. Unkowingly, because of the longer bar and the weight being outside more, when I tried to stand up with my opener, the bar flexed and I couln't get it out of the rack. Took alot of energy, made the lift (848 opener), and they wouldn't readjust the rack height for my second (which was 909). Needless to say, getting it out was a major problem and I missed both 2nd and 3rd attempts. The same was true for the deadlift bar. Anyway, the moral of the story is, try to find out BEFORE the contest what equipment is being used. I only took 2 deadlift attempts to secure 4th, but I probably gave up over 100 lbs in my total.
