Hai guise. I'm finally going to start a log. Since 90% of the sh*t I do on the interwebs is usess, I figure I may as well do something productive. I have a kickboxing fight (american rules) set for June 25th and I have some weight to cut.

Starting Weight: 195lbs
Goal: 175lbs

As far as cutting weight goes, I could cut the 20lbs in a week but I'll lose some strength. So I plan on keeping my cals up where they are (~3600-4000) and upping my cardio to keep my strength and speed. If I notice thats not working I'll cut cals and hate it.

Today I couldn't get in touch with my boxing instructor, which I'm moderately upset about so I lifted some chest:
BB BP: 225x15, 275x5, 305x3, 335x1
Incline BBBP: 225x6x5
HammerStrength Chest Press: 225x12x5
Machine Fly: 225x15x5
Heavy Weighted Abs and 200 vaccuums.
Then I ran five miles in 38 mins and shadowboxed for another 20, working mostly 1,2,3's and footwork. My hands are already feeling much lighter since I took some time off from lifting real heavy. I'm also starting to understand concepts I haven't before, like walking people into my punches, catch/counters, feint jabs, etc. Feels good man.

Ohhhh today was a good day. Went to boxing. Stretched for about ten minutes. Shadow boxed for three rounds, focusing on footwork both normal and southpaw (weird). The jump roped for a round. Next I did roughly 11 rounds of focus mit work hitting every combo from 1's, 2's, 3's to 4, 2, 4's, to house, to off the rope combos. mind=blown, i didn't know i could throw fists that fast and maintain focus. felt good man. then did three rounds on the reaction bag, which frustrates the hell out of me. and lastly two rounds on the speed bag.

I though I was finished until I got home and something possessed me to do 5 60m uphill sprints and a ton of ab work.

My weight when I was finished was ~185 but I lost a ton of water weight so I'm probably back up to ~193 right now. See you tomorrow friends, the hunt for vaj tonight begins.

Going to start a new weight training routine as I don't need to lift for hypertrophy anymore. I find that to be silly and I'm already vain enough. Will look like this.

Monday:
Bench 5x5
Inc Bench 5x5
Deads 5x5
BB Curls 5x5

Wednesday:
Squat 5x5
Leg Press 5x5
Push Press 5x5
Skull Crushers 5x5

Friday:
Bench 5x5
Rows 5x5
Push Press/Snatches 5x5
Shrugs 5x5

Saturday: All BW excersizes: Pull ups, push ups, dips, etc.

This will give me some recovery time and I won't be too sore to do work. BRB, trying it out.

Bahhh well yesterday I slacked a little bit since I got stuck at work I missed Sunday sparring class =( I ended up running three miles and doing some random powerlifts.

Today, I'm gonna run three miles, hit my monday routine, and go to kickboxing class later tonight.

I completely forgot about this log like a dbag but heres updates. Tuesday I ran three miles in the AM and did a bunch of BW exercizes. At night I went to kickboxing from 8-930 where we did a massive conditioning circuit, mit work, and some light sparring. Yesterday I hit my wednesday routine as follows:
Squats: 375x5x5
Shoulder Press: 225x5x5
High Pulls: 185x5x5
BB Curls: 125x5x5
Wt Pull Ups: BW+45x5x5
And then went to grappling went over some new leglocks from half guard and rolled for a half hour. This was my first time rolling since my last fight five months ago, and suprisingly, I didn't lose a thing. Everything came back to me very quickly and I feel I'm picking up right where I left off.
Today is going to be terrible since I have boxing at one school in about an hour, then kickboxing at my other school later tonight. CARBS OM NOM NOM.

hai dere friends ^_^ thursdays sparring went well. only three rounds but I learned a lot. Keeping my range and tripling up on my jab to set up the right were working well for me. Also, leading off with a left hook, right straight, left hook was a successful combo. I do have a bad habit of putting my head down when getting flurried but I'll stop that when I keep eating uppercuts. Friday I took it pretty light, hit my lifting routine and ran ~3mi. Saturday I ran ~4 mi and shadowboxed for awhile. Sunday I did a heavy sprint workout since I overslept and missed sparring like a d*cknose =( . Off to lift, work, then grappling tonight. Bye nikkaaas.

The last three days I haven't updated since I've been studying my chubby little as* off for finals. However, I have been doing some manly man sh*t training brahs. Monday I lifted in the AM. Then PM had grappling where I finally caught some of the moves I've been baiting (IE: Triangle to Kimura, Triangle to armbar, Armbar to knee bar to toe hold, Peruvian Kneck-tie from sprawl). Tuesday I sparred ~8 3 minute rounds. Did well setting up my right and working in and out of range. Then I hit my wednesday lifting routine since wednesday I couldn't. Wednesday I ran 3 mi in the morning, did 100 pull ups, and some ab work and at night hit grappling again. FUUUUUUcK i'm tired of typing. Today I went to boxing and sparred another 8 rounds. Did well and focused on spraying the jab in and out, doubles, triples, feints, to the right hand and back with the left hook. Tonight I will go to kickboxing and hopefully get some more spar time in with some different people. Bye forever nikkasss.

alright hai guise here i am.

Sunday: Got home from the beach and forced myself into the gym. Ran three miles in 20:30. Also did:
Squats: 5x5x335
Bench: 5x5x275
Rows:5x5x275
Shrugs:5x12x315
Wt Pull Ups: +45x5x5
Abs

Monday: Both my gyms that I train at were closed so I was forced to get swole again and do some ghey cardio. Ran three miles again at 20:30 and lifted as follows:
Leg Press:5x5x750
Inc Bench: 225x5x5
Shoulder Press:5x5x225
St Bar Curls: 5x12x115
Rope Pdowns: 5x12x115
Misc Curls and Tri Excersizes

Tuesday: Went in to boxing for around two hours. Ran for ~15 mins, jumped rope for 15 minutes. Then did 6, 3 minute rounds of shadow boxing, working all the various combos that have been working for me. Then did 6, 3 minute rounds on the heavy bag, same combos, slips, catch-counters, etc. Then I did 3, 3 minute rounds of non-stop 1,2's and one round shadow boxing with 5lb DB's. THENNNN, 150 roundhouse kicks on the thai bag with leg lifts in between sets of 50. THENNNN ran more and did push ups. FUUUUUUU.

Yesterday: Lifted in the AM:
Leg Press:5x5x755
Inc Bench:5x5x235
Deadlifts:5x5x315
Curls: 5x5x120
Hammer Chest press:5x5x275

PM: Grappling class. Since my coach was under the impression that I partied all weekend (hes partially right) I was paired up with the fat 16yr old and forced to put a weighted vest on for relays. During fireman carries, he took three steps with me and planted me on my face. Needless to say, we lost the relays and were forced to do 50 extra pushups. Then me and my training partner taught some moves to the class from side control (when you scoop the head-side arm pit and step over the arm: neck crank, arm bar, shouler lock, and triangle). Then we rolled for ~20 mins.
