Background
My name is Jay, I am 14 going on 15 in October. I weigh 58Kg and am 168cm tall. I train in Muay Thai and hope to fight when i am 16. I will be posting in this log until then. everything i post will be in kilos and kilometers.

Current Stats
1km 4:35minutes
Bench press 68kg
Squat 90kg
Overhead press 40kg 3reps
dead lift 95kg
Push ups 110 reps
chin ups 16reps

Goals
1km 4minutes flat or under
bench press 80kg
squat 120kg
Overhead press 50kg
dead lift 150kg
Push ups 200reps
chin ups 25reps

i would like to achieve those goals whenever i can

My first post will be tomorrow

9:10am little body weight workout
25 push ups
25 sit ups
15 chin ups
25 triceps dips

Notes
Didn't have to get up early cause i didn't have any school today.

AFTERNOON

Weight Session
Squat 3x5 70kg
Bench Press 1x5 1x8 1x12 50kg (couldn't lift heavy because i didn't have a spotter)
Dead lift 1x5 80kg
Chest Dip 2x8 added 5kg
Shrugs 1x10 1x15 70kg

Notes
Felt really good.

Notes
Did very well besides for the chin ups couldn't get all 10 only 8 for the last set.
I would have gone to the gym tonight but it was closed because today was a public holiday.

I got up at 6:15am to go for my run (it was raining) i am being very quiet and then i here what are u doing jay go back to bed it is to cold and it is raining out side u can't run in this weather. I was very unhappy because i like my morning run it wakes me up.

rode my bike to the gym it is about 3km
6:20pm
stretch out
6:30pm
run 1km 4:42Minutes
7:00pm
kickboxing lesson
we did lots of pad work and some grappling drills
8:30pm
fighters training
1 round floor ceiling ball (getting a lot better at the jab)
1 round heavy bag mostly kicks
1 round heavy bag just boxing and knees
1 round heavy bag more knees
1 round pad work with the training just boxing
repeat once more
2 round grappling and boxing with opponent a lot stronger than me
1 round heavy bag hold
finish off with chin ups till fail
50 push ups
50 sit ups

Notes
when the fighters at my gym go for there runs they just run no headphones no timer, but when i run i have my beat cranking and a distance app on my phone i love to see improvement in my times. how do they no they are getting better.

Notes
The squats felt good, the military press was hard on the last set, i could do a lot more weight on the rows so i will start next workout.
I will ride my bike to the gym tonight and train.

i wasn't very strong in the clinch i need to get stronger are they any exercise i can do.

to be honest clinch i would think has alot to do with leverage and arm length considering people claim anderson silva has a good clinch but not that muscular. However, i would guess your traps would be a decent area to focus on for clinch strength and upper lats maybe.

to be honest for mma trap strength i think shrugs or farmers walks would be good or upright rows However, i would stay away from upright rows if you have never done them. So i would suggest shrugs and if your gym has space farmers carrys with dumbells.

x2 on farmer's walks. Good conditioning as well as strength.

Pumped for tomorrows workout. Starting a new Push,Pull,Legs routine. i can finally start benching heavy because i put two chairs next to my bench so it doesn't fall on me if i can't lift it.

I am not going to the gym tonight because i am punishing myself for not running in the morning, it might sound stupid to you guys but it works for me, because i no it will set me back so there is no point going to the gym if i will not even be able to keep up.

Felt good, at least i got up this morning didn't get to go for a run because it is pissing down with rain and thunder and lighting. tonight i have kickboxing so pumped for that. the instructor is letting this other kid do fighter training as well i use to be the only kid but yea maybe he wants someone my size for me to spar with, i have sparred this kid before and he is crap he throws the same combo every time and i see it every time, he is just going to make me look good lol.

Sorry i haven't been posting i have just been heaps lazy. i am just not feeling motivated to do anything i haven't gone to training this week, i am just going to have a break i guess in till Monday then back in to it harder than ever.

YEA BABY NEW SQUAT PB 97.5KG BREAK PARALLEL, IT FELT HEAPS GOOD. BY THE END OF THE MONTH I WANT TO BREAK THE 100 MARK.

My bench is still struggling i can't seem the break 70kg. I haven't maxed out my dead lift yet but i will next weekend Sunday i hope i can break the 100mark

My back was hurting a lot during squats that is why i only did a light dead lift, The run felt pretty good i regret taking that week off thou. my cardio has gone out the window

Yes you read correctly a new PB for my 1km time. i was planing on going to the gym tonight but couldn't get down there my bike had a flat tire and i didn't no in till i got home from school and mum couldn't get me to the bike shop. Can't wait till tomorrows morning's workout, i have something special planned, so keep reading.

I was planing on going to the gym but my cousins came down and i never see them so i stayed home. yes that's right a new PB for running almost under the 4 minute mark. Pumped for tomorrows workout, I am going to the gym tomorrow no matter what.

Weights felt really good besides the power cleans i am so weak. lesson was pretty good i wasn't even tired after, and i work really hard.

Jog 300 meters 1:38 minutes ( just to get some blood pumping)
Incline bench press 1x5 40kg 1x5 45kg 1x5 47.5kg 1x5 50kg 1x5 52.5kg
Dumbbell bench press 1x8 15kg 1x8 17.5kg 1x8 20kg
Dumbbell shoulder press 3x8 15kg
Rear lateral raise 3x8 4kg (first time)
Close grip bench press 3x8 30kg
Push ups 3x25

Notes
The incline was pretty hard but felt good, struggled a little bit on the last rep but that was about it. The rear raise was pretty weak but i was just going very lite to see how it was, it will be heavier next time.

Got submitted by everyone you name it i got it. The instructor asked me if i have done bjj before, i said no i just watch a lot of UFC lol. 2km run felt good up in till1.2km couldn't keep up with my running partner and had to walk a Little bit, then ran the rest of the
way. P.S sorry if there are spelling or grammar mistakes I am writing this just before bed.
