I'm planning to order the Powertec power rack this Sunday or Monday from
bestbuyfitness. com
It cost $449 w/ free shipping just the rack itself, the lowest I can find online. Has anyone brought a power rack from bestbuyfitness, or anything from them? I just want some feedback before I proceed.

Thanks!

I've bought over $2k in equipment and plates from them a couple of years ago. Their prices were the best I found at that time too. The customer service was great! I actually had 3 different freight deliveries, one of which I missed. They made it real simple to reschedule with the freight company. You're in good hands with them, I'm sure they'll take good care of you.

Enjoy!

I recently purchased the leg press accessory for my Powertec WB-LS from them. They had it at the sale price with no shipping. I ordered on Sunday and received it on Thursday.

Good service all around.

They say it'll take 8-10 days for shipping. Do you think $449 is the cheapest online?

Just receive a deal to buy a Samson power rack along with 45lbs york plates for $550. I just want the rack and the bench, so how much do you think I should spend? 400?

That's a nice looking rack. I think I'd prefer that over my powertec

What I know of Samson is that they build stuff that's built like a tank. Not the cheapest, and a lot of it is custom-order for schools and institutions that can pay the higher price, but I've heard all good things.

I've seen some Samson racks that dang near look like they could hold up a car. I saw one once that had to be 9 feet high. It was the biggest power rack I think I've ever seen, no kidding!

Cool stuff, but out of my range, unfortunately.

I agree. I much rather buy this than the Powertec, since I manage to bargain down the price to 450. With huge square tube steel, weight rack, and a nice heavy duty bench, its a great deal.

Nice find. In the second pic it almost looks like the frame under the back pad is sagging a bit or maybe it's on a shallow decline setting or maybe it's just an odd angle? Otherwise it looks like a pretty heavy-duty overall set up for an ok price.

I think that lower frame is for doing deadlift, perhaps?
