Right now I'm in season for soccer. But my baseball team starts getting ready for the season tomorrow. We will practice only a couple times a week until May. The first game is May 21. So basically this will be a workout log for me preparing for this season. Then the actual season and my workouts throughout the season on the field and in the weightroom.

This summer I'm going to learn the other lifts like squats and deadlifts that I've never done before. Since I am a pitcher I will not be able to lift upper body until after the season ends.

Started out with some short toss today. Then we did a warmup run around the bases ten times and then stretched. We worked on fielding grounders and pop flies. Not too much, just wanted to get an easy start, Saturday we will do more and will start pitching.

Today we did some of the same stuff as Thursday. But we also had the pitchers and catchers practice with each other. I was throwing pretty good. I threw a few balls, but it has been awhile since the last time I pitched. I was able to throw a lot of good strikes. Then we headed to the cages to practice hitting, I was a little rusty, but got some pretty good hits in. The next practice is Wednesday and we will be doing more field work and pitching.
