Hey guys I haven't been on in a few months and I have lacked a bit of motivation. Please help me reach my goals by reading my logs and giving me your input. Thanks!


About me : I'm 17 years old and I've been training No-Gi BJJ and Kickboxing for just over a year and a half now.

Short term goal (2-3 months) - Get my weight from 221 down to 190-195.
Medium term goal(4-6 months) - Have my first fight at 185
Long term goal(1 year +) - weight down to 180 and fight at 170
Final goal - Fight professionally.


I'm going to keep you guys posted on my diet and my training. I've been doing the paleo diet for a little while now and I really like it so I will be sticking with that. I do it as best as I can with the food that I have in my house.

Vitamins : everyday I'm going to be taking a multi vitamin, 2 fish oil capsules and 1 b12 pill.


Please give me any input you may have! Thank you in advance.

Training - not too much today, might go for a 30 minute jog. I have to work in 2 hours and I still have to eat and get ready. My real training starts tomorrow.


Weight - 221


Diet-

Vitamins - 1 multi, 2 fish oil, 1 b12.

Water- TBA

Meal 1- Steak,eggs and mushrooms (barbecued steak with no salt added and poached eggs), 1 cup of unsweetened apple sauce and an orange.

Meal 2- Steak and mixed veggies, a pear, an apple.

Meal 3- TBA

Training - Going for a jog and then heading to the gym. Going to do some tabata drills on the treadmill (20 on 10 off) at 10 mph with a small incline. A few ab workouts and a few pushups. Light again today, mostley cardio. Going to swim a few laps.


Weight - 220.0


Diet -

Vitamins- 2 fish oils, 1 multi vitamin, 1 b12

Water- 2 liters

Meal 1 - 3 eggs and steak with some tomatos

Meal 2 - Chicken and apple sauce

Meal 3 - lean ground beef with a salad, an orange and an apple.

Training-

Did a bit of upper body weight lifting today

Bench press - 5x5
Incline DB press - 5x5
Shoulder press - 5x5
BIs & Tris - 5x5 each
Wide grip pullups - 2x5
Close grip pullups - 2x5
Parallel grip pullups 1x5




MMA class tonight. Shadow boxing + Sparring + pads + grappling. Getting the fighteres ready for their fights in King of the cage in a few weeks.



After class tonight I will be going for a swim.

Weight: 219.5

Diet -

Meal 1- Ham and eggs

Meal 2- Chicken breast and garden salad with balsamic vinigar

Meal 3- Chicken breast in wine sauce with mixed veggies (snow peas, baby corn, peas and carrots).

Will probably have some fruit later on.

Sorry guys..i lost motivation for a bit. Back on track though and I'm going to be posting everyday. It would be nice if at least 1 person gave me some input.


Starting to post again tomorrow. I have a Muay Thai seminar being put on by Kru Nick Hewitson from 12 to 6.
