My Double-T Sports Transformation Challenge Review & Experience.
After the past ten weeks, 70 full days, I can proudly state that on Thursday, April 1, 2010 I turned 46 years old and am without a doubt in the absolute best condition of my life. This change has come about through dedicating myself to a superior supplementation regiment, a perfect nutrition plan and serious regular training.
I have been amazed at the changes a person can make to their appearance and health in only ten short weeks with proper lifestyle adaptations as listed herein. It also makes me realize that one can seriously destroy their health and fitness level in an equally short time period with lack of physical activity and the modern American nutrition plan of fast food and junk foods.
Although this log entry marks the end of my official Transformation Challenge it is really more of a beginning for me. This is simply day 70 of the rest of my life. I plan to continue my current supplement plan, work out routine and nutrition plan. Each day will be better than the last.
I want to add a personal note of gratitude to the great people at Double-T Sports for bringing this transformation challenge. The principals that I have learned over the past ten weeks will remain with me over my entire lifetime. I have had a blast participating and regardless of the final results I consider what I have achieved to make me a winner.

My full transformation was brought about with close attention to three areas of my life.
1. Following a sensible and proper nutrition plan that provided me with the fuel I required to loose body fat and build lean muscle mass. I had enough food to keep me from being hungry while ingesting a good macronutrient profile for healthy living.
2. I also developed a great workout routine that I followed five days per week every week. My routine consisted of resistance training using free weights and plate loaded machines along with a low intensity cardio routine.
3. A superior complete supplementation regiment that provided me with the keys to achieve success for the WIN!
MY NUTRITION PLAN.
I have suffered from Type I diabetes since I was a few months old. Dieting and nutrition has always been a difficult part of my life to maintain with a mix of high and low blood sugars and insulin resistance. I was fortunate in this contest to receive advice from David Rooks, drooks10. He introduced me to the cut diet plan, which was the perfect nutrition plan for me.
I was able to follow the diet plan consistently throughout the entire ten weeks of the challenge without any cheat meals or days. I did have to deviate from the plan slightly on a few occasions due to hypoglycemic episodes. These episodes were treated with glucose tablets that contain 4 grams of carbohydrates each.
I followed a 1750-calorie per day diet with 17 consecutive meals being protein based with fibrous carbs from sources like broccoli, green beans and asparagus. My 18th meal every third day was a carb load. I loved this meal and looked forward to it each time. I ate ½ cup of whole grain oatmeal, 8 oz of sweet potato, 1 cup of green beans, almonds and peanut butter. My fat sources were derived from healthy sources like avocado, peanut butter and almond butter. YUM!!
It took a short period of adjustment on this diet program for my body to become acclimated. But, once it did I have never felt better or had more energy in my life.
I will continue to follow this exact nutrition plan moving forward while adjusting the calorie count to fit my specific needs. It will continue to provide me with the nutrition my body requires while making my insulin use the most efficient possible.
MY TRAINING PLAN.
I have always had periods of my life where I have hit the gym really hard only to fall off and miss months at a time. Most of these fall-offs resulted because I did not see results. This challenge period has been a real change for me.
I go to the gym every weekday morning. I go before work and arrive at 5:00 AM each morning when they open the doors. I absolutely love it!
I missed only a few isolated training sessions due to some business travel where I was on the road without access to the gym for a day or two and an incredible snow storm that saw a state of emergency declared and the gym closed for two days. Otherwise my training was right on target for the entire challenge.
I worked a different muscle group each day one day each week. I typically will do 4-6 routines with 10-12 reps in each set.
The most amazing part of this challenge time is that despite being on a calorie restricted diet I was still able to build lean muscle mass and hit new PR’s throughout my challenge time. I attribute this directly to my supplement stack.
MY SUPPLEMENTATION PLAN.
When I began the challenge I was determined to give the CreaDyl a try and to stick with my other supplements, which I bought but did not feel, worked effectively. I really did not expect at this point to find anything that would do what it advertised or claimed.
CREADYL – CreaDyl has been a staple of my workouts all throughout my challenge. I have always been a non-responder to other Creatine products and have full tubs of every other competitor blends that I will never re-open or use. CreaDyl not only provided my muscle with the hydration they require but I was able to see growth and it provided me with a great sense of focus and energy during each workout. It will remain a consistent partner and part of my supplement stack as I continue.
NO-BETA – This product was the biggest surprise of all of my supplements. I have tried so many numerous NO based products that did not live up the their hype. I have a full tub of Nano-Vapor and Black Rage that I will not touch after using NO-Beta. It gave me the most incredible pumps I have ever experienced in my life along with vascularity that I have never experienced. This product when stacked with the other Double-T sports products I have used is incredible.
GLUTACENE – WOW, imagine hitting new PR’s everyday for two weeks straight with minimal soreness. That is exactly what Glutacene allowed me to accomplish here. Glutacene provided me with a recovery agent that not only performed up to its claims but also exceeded them for me. This product actually intensifies with continued use. I could go to the gym on some days where my body just was not into it. By the time I started in and sipped on my Glutacene I was ready to take on the world and would have to force myself to call it quits for the day and hit the shower so I could get to work. The recovery was phenomenal with Glutacene. I have tried every other brand of recovery agent out there including BCAA tablets with Glutamine mixed into my drinks without the results Glutacene provided. I cannot say enough positive about this product.
TESTX6 – About four weeks into my challenge I was having such a great experience with all of my supplements from Double-T that I would try the one available supplement I was not using, TestX6. This is a ZMA product and said to help get a restful night sleep and help build strength. This is another winner; I was taking Lunesta at the time to help me fall asleep and stay asleep but did not like the side effects. Due to my work and life schedule I like most people do not get much time in the bed. This product really assisted me in feeling rested and energy filled upon waking up and I believe greatly helped in my reaching PR’s during my training. And best of all there was not any unwanted side effects to this product. I have not taken a Lunesta since starting the TestX6.
NITROMINE – I have to mention this product which is not yet available on the market. It is NitroMine and I was fortunate to be able to do a trial run of 20 doses of this during my challenge. This is the product that I feel was custom formulated for me. It helps build lean muscle while on a heavily calorie restricted diet. I was VERY impressed with the performance and effects of this product and it is definitely a product I will be adding to my stack the day it becomes available on the market from Double-T.
With the inclusion of NitroMine, Betacene and KetoCuts from Double-T in the future I will not be changing my supplement stack from what I have used here. It is a very good selection of products that perform exactly as they are supposed to without any adverse effects or conditions.
WHERE NEXT?
This transformation experience has been one of the most FUN and life changing experiences of my life. I have not only been able to gain the physique that I have wanted for a long time but it has transformed my life in the process: the way and what I eat, my fitness and training plans and my supplementation have and will forever be changed.
I do not ever want to go back to what I was back on January 18th of this year. My transformation is not really ended but only just begun at this point and I am excited to see each morning and to know that I can accomplish anything I put my mind to.
I see other people struggle with fitness, weight and health issues and want to help show them that there is another way out there.
