OK so I'm new to body building and want to transform my body but I know it will take both diet and exercise. I've played sports my whole life and since graduating from college and want to adapt a healthy lifesyle. I've always been on the musclar side (i'm a mesomorph) and really enjoy working out so I think body buiding would be the perfect hobby/lifesyle for me.
A little about me: I am 5'7 164lbs looking to get to 145 in about 3 months. My main goal is to lose fat and inches. Right now I am doing P90x classic version and am about to finish month 1. I also do interval training 2-3 times a week for about 30 minutes. My question is in regards to nutrition is should I do the keto diet, do the 40 protein/40 carb/20 fat diet, or simply 1-1.5g of protein per pound of body fat. I'm not quite sure what nutrition plan to follow. Any help would be greatly appreciated!

To all who were wondering I read some off the other posts and decided to go by the 1.5 g of protein per pound of body fat.
