If you send a pm to Simpy or Jordansrt they can probably answer your question about how to get the KetoCuts. Congrats on entering the contest! I finished about 2 weeks ago and I continued to use the Double T products even after my transformation period ended! I've been using KetoCuts, NoBeta, CreaDyl and Glutacene with great results! What will your diet and training look like? Good luck!

Subbed for your transformation! Double-T makes some great products, and if you want to maximize your potential during these next 4 months, then I suggest you run their stack of NO-Beta/Creadyl/Glutacene. You will not be sorry!
PM Jordansrt and ask him about ketocuts. He will hook you up!
Good luck

Diet looks good. You may want to substitute a pasta for one of your rice meals occasionally just to switch things up and not get too bored. Nice to see the sugar free jello in there! That's a trick lots of pro fitness models use, the green specifically! Can't wait to see your workout routine :)

Oh good! You will find that Simpy is VERY helpful! Diet looks good... it actually looks pretty similar to mine! I LOVE the KetoCuts. I actually am still using 4 Double T products even though my transformation is over! The KetoCuts are really strong so I would definitely recommend starting out with just 1 capsule right when you wake up in the morning and 1 more in the afternoon maybe 1/2 an hour before your 4th meal or 5th meal. Whenever you're ready you can up it to 2/2! CreaDyl is awesome I stack it with NoBeta which is an absolutely AMAZING product.... I am able to get more work done in the gym than ever! (I kept a log for my transformation, it's in my forum signature if you want to check it out!) The more muscle you have, the more fat your body will burn at rest so don't be afraid to throw around some iron! Another product you might want to consider down the line is Glutacene. I'll go out on a limb and say it almost prevents soreness! I lift really heavy (for a girl LOL) and I also do at least an hour of cardio per day... sometimes 2! And I am almost never sore! If you have any questions at all feel free to ask here or pm me I'll be glad to help! I'll be following along and putting my 2 cents in LOL!

It will make things alot easier then going low all the time, nobody likes feeling lethargic from low carbs. Keep it up and keep us updated and let us know your initial thoughts on the double t products once your give them a try.

Honestly, if your only goal is fat loss and you plan on only using 2 products,
I'd recommend the ketocuts and glutacene. As others have said, glutacene will help with recovery because of the glutamine, but the real advantage IMO ar the BCAAs which you should drink while doing cardio to prevent muscle breakdown. Creadyl is a great product especially for strength, but during a cut creatine isn't on the top of my priorities. BCAAs though definitely are if you do cardio first thing in the morning.

You're starting with almost the same stats I was (5 5.5, 140 lbs) and I didn't use the KetoCuts, just the Creadyl and NoBeta! I lost 22 lbs, so it should be no prob for you!! Just make sure your diets tight (like it looks) and don't give up!! Good luck!

Your nutrition plan looks great - with the advice simpy added in. You should see some great results there.
One of the best "fat" burning methods is to do some resistance work using weights. It is not purely geared toward building muscle but also for toning what you have anf reducing the body fat level. Working with lower weights and doing both full range of motion FRM and some isolation work will definitely aid you in achieving the results you listed on your starting log entry.
NO Beta - will help give you the strength and agility to complete your workouts
CreaDyl - will defnitely aid in giving you the focus and muscle hydration you need.
Glutacene - will help with the loss of Glutamine from the muscle after a workout to aid in your recovery so that you don't have the soreness that you would without it. Also aids in muscle growth but remember you are not body building but lean muslcle mass = less body fat levels.
Ketocuts7 - helps burn body fat and improve your physique.
You are on a good path, keep it up and we will help motivate you over the full 16 weeks to keep you focused and on track to be the absolute best of your life. Let me know if there are any questions you have or information you need. GOOD LUCK!

Am i supposed to be posting on my thread everyday? or is it ok if i just do it once in a while? any ideas?
Caitlin - you should be making daily posts showing the training you have performed along with your supplementation and nutrition. This log is really designed to allow us and others to assist you in making the absolute most of your transformation time and efforts.
While the log is a requirement of the transformation challenge everyone realizes that there will be a time when you may not be able to make a log entry on a specified day due to other obligations or happenings but those should be the exception.
Double-T really wants to see everyone involved achieve their personal best in this challenge period and they have dedicated a lot of resources to make that a reality for as many people as possible. Your daily log is one of the tools in that.
What other questions do you have? How can we best assist you in reaching all of your goals?

You can post as little or as much as you want. Most people will log their workouts - exercises, weights, reps, etc. or what they ate on a given day. But it's completely up to you. I find it helps keep me on task just knowing that someone's following along. Feel free to check out my log I kept during my transformation as a guide. It's in my signature. How has your progress been lately?

I agree with KD. I felt like I was able to get the most out of my transformation by keeping a daily log.... to be honest it actually made me push harder in the gym... whenever I wanted to slack off and do less reps or shy away from some weight I knew I could lift I thought about what "everyone would think" when I logged the workout!!! You are going to find that the Double T Reps, as well as the other contestants (past and present) are really there for you and want to do everything in their power to help you succeed! As you see by how quickly this question was answered LOL!!!

If you look at the official contest rules for the 2010 challenge the judging will be based on the following criteria:
Final “On Stage” Look – 50%
Maintenance of LOG – 20%
Overall Transformation – 20%
Product Review – 10%
You can locate all of the official rules at the following link:

Good luck! Ditto what everyone has said so far (such a great group of people!)
Aside from the rules of the contest, I agree with cw, keeping a daily log really helps keep you accountable. Because us regulars will be looking to see what you're up to, it's our way of getting to be nosy but politely ;)
Also agree with KetoCuts and Glutacene. When cutting I think those are two staple supplements from Double-T. If you were to add just one more, I would go with CreaDyl to help keep your energy up and muscles pampered.

I agree with the not thinking about posting on your log! I just try to update it with my day etc. I am far too busy to write down everything I eat and every rep/set I do! I wish I made it a priority, but for now, no such luck! I REALLY love creadyl, and as far as keto cuts goes I like it as well! Only used the KC since mon though!

I really liked the KetoCuts, it helped me manage my appetite so well and I didn't experience any side effects. I would just start out slow, one in the am and one in the afternoon. Do that for a couple of days and then increase dosage to two.
Definitely ask any questions here, we'll be sure to check in and make sure that everything is going well.

Ok here's my workout plan:
Day one: triceps, quads, chest and abs
20mins of cardio before and after lifting
Day two: back and biceps, ab and adductions, calfs, and abs
20mins of cardio before and after lifting
Day three: glutes, hamstrings, shoulders and obliques
20mins of cardio before and after lifting
I'll be using these workouts while lifting 4 or 5 days a week so I'll be switching them out for what I'm in the mood to work on, I'll also be doing cardio in the morning 3 times a week, I''v done two of these so far and i think their going to be really good, I'm super setting throughout the workout and i am doing at least 3 exercises for each muscle group
still haven't received my ketocuts yet I'm anxiously waiting, but i am loving my credyl. It's given me some added energy and it's very tasty

What flavor of Creadyl did you get? As for day one, I suggest starting with quads or chest, not triceps. Your tris will get worked during your chest workout, and should follow the bigger muscle because of that.

Thanks for advice but I'm working on pre-exhausting the larger muscle group by starting with the smaller, I'm also using priority principle to bring up my triceps

The recommendation (on the package) is 2 servings per day so if you want to hit that 2 serving mark I would say have it in the morning when you get up, and then the 2nd during your evening workout. I have the Orange Cream flavor too it is amazing!!!

That's a great attitude to have, no sense in dwelling on stuff. Just pick up where you left off and move on.

It is tough when home, or an environment where people just make/eat eat food that doesnt help us. If they dont already know, maybe you could tell them you are doing this contest and going for a change and possibly to prepare something that would fit in with your allowances? I know it kind of sounds like it might be 'rude' but I come from a family that used to just shove food down my throat, and none of it was really healthy, but once I told them I was dieting my g-ma always has a 'special' plate just for me haha
But as you get further along just work on that discipline and in no time you'll be able to resist the cheesecake, but in the meantime thats a real positive attitude, just kick ass tomorrow!

But as you get further along just work on that discipline and in no time you'll be able to resist the cheesecake, but in the meantime thats a real positive attitude, just kick ass tomorrow!
Haha last year when i did a transformation challange my step mother was great about making things i could eat but my dad is stuck in his ways and doesn't like much of that food lol so to keep the peace i just need to learn a little self control and if i eat good all week then i dont feel as bad about it lol

My diet always wavers on weekends as well. For me it's mainly because I sleep in so my eating schedule is always thrown off. It's always nice to have a partner during cardio because it's just so monotonous.
Yah im the same with sleeping in on the weekends, its so wonderful and well worth missing a few meals lol as for the cardio i actually prefer to do it alone, i just like to space out and go lol

I've got someone checking on your Ketocuts order.
Oh it came today! im so excited, i got home from the gym this morning and it was waiting for me :), i got some no beta with it too but im not sure how i feel about trying it, its a little scary all of the tingling and huge pupils and such people say they get, would you recommend trying it along with my ketocuts and creadyl?

Nothing to be worried about at all. Just start off assessing your tolerance by taking 1 NoBeta on your first day. If that works, then you can up it to 2 or 3. Also, if you take it with food, the tingles won't be pronounced.

I take it about 15 minutes before CreadDyl and that's it. And like Segansational stated, if you take it with food, it buffers the reaction. Start with 1 and see how you feel. I started out with 3 and it wasn't bad at all, but everyone is different.

I don't think one will affect the other. However, why don't you use the Ketocuts first and see how that makes you feel. That way you'll know what feelings to associate with which supplement. Once you feel comfortable with the KC, then add the NO Beta.

Wow so today is my first day taking the ketocuts and so far so good, it was great when i got home from my endless dress shopping i was so tired that i was thinking about not going to the gym but i took my second dose of the ketocuts and i not only went to the gym and had a great workout (glutes, hamstrings, shoulders, and obliques), But i also cleaned half my house before going! and my creadyl gave me the extra boost. The only problem is that its making my stomach a little upset, and im only taking one scoop a day, but i think i just need to drink it a little slower. Does anyone know if there is gluten in the creadyl? from whats on the lable it doesnt look as though it does but that may be whats hurting my tummy :(

First: awesome job getting to the gym... and then some!
Second: I have celiac disease (gluten intolerance) and I have been taking CreaDyl without any problem at all. The tummy issues could just be the body adjusting to all the new stims... I usually go through the same thing when starting a stack. You could try cutting the CreaDyl to 1/2 or 3/4 of a scoop while you get used to taking the KetoCuts. That might help.

It did that to me to at first. Like, TMI...but I was stuck on the toliet for quiet awhile..ahem. I started to only do 1/2-1 scoop in my 24 oz water bottle, and then sip it slowly. That took care of the prob. My hub tried my Creadyl, and he had the tummy issue too. I no longer have any issues with that.

Hmm it must have been something i ate last night, i'v been tested for celiac and it came back negative but regardless my tummy and gluten don't get along and also when i eat it my neck breaks out in this terrible red rash and its really gross looking lol but if you have no problems im sure its not the double-t products

Sometimes, you'll have tummy issues until you get the dosing figured out for your body. It's nothing to worry about. I would recommend pulling back a bit on the amount you take and easing into it.

The "full" dose is 2 capsules twice per day but it is definitely good to start with 1 capsule twice per day to test your tolerance. If it's going well, stay there for a while!

Hello all, I'v been super busy the past few days, long days of work, and preparations for a bridal shower and bachelorette party for my friend yesterday, but now thats all done and this week can go back to normal. I didn't make it to the gym friday at all, and yesterday and today i just did cardio in the morning. Didn't eat great between the shower and party last night so i have some extra work to do this week. Im thinking of cutting some calories out of my diet but not sure where i would take away from. The scale is not being my friend, i know im gaining muscle so i need to not be concerned when the number goes up, but its been up and the same 3 weeks now ;( , so i just want to see it go down a little lol So some input would be great this is my diet as of now and its been good as long as i'v been sticking to it....
meal 1: 3 egg whites and 1/4 cup oatmeal
meal 2: 2 rice cakes and 2 tbsp peanut butter
meal 3: 1/4 cup rice, chicken or ground turkey, 1/2 cup veggies
meal 4: 2 celery sticks with tuna
meal 5: 1/4 cup rice fish
meal 6: protein shake and a sugar free jello
I'v been eating chicken at night and not fish right now, i dont really like fish so i ate it for as long as i could stomach lol

Yes I have a tracker on my phone to enter everything. On carb down days (3) I take in about 1100 and on carb up(every 4th) I take in about 1700, would adding more help me to lose though?

Yeah, on 1100 you're probably starving yourself. Is that 1100 plus exercise? Or 1100 net? You should still be getting a bare minimum of 1200ish.

I'd bump up your calories a bit, throw in a whole egg with Meal 1 for starters. How much chicken and tuna are you eating with your meals?
Can you give us a breakdown of your workouts? Such as what are your reps and sets? How many exercises are you doing per body part?

Here's the problem with starting so low on your caloric intake: you're body eventually adjusts to the amount that you are eating and plateaus. What will you do when you stop losing weight? Normally, the answer is to cut calories, but you have already cut to such a low number, that it would not be safe to go lower without a doctor's supervision. I would suggest going a bit higher on your calories. Let's say 1500. Then, if you stall on weight loss, up your cardio intensity for a bit. If that doesn't work, then lower the calories.

I'm eating one thin sliced chicken breast which is about 3 or 4 oz or when i have turkey about 3 oz of that, the tuna i just have as much as i can fit on the celery so mabye like an ounce...this is all very confusing the diet part lol
As far as my workouts there are 3 days and i just rotate them, i do at least 3 workouts per bodypart, 3 sets of anywhere beween 6 and 10 reps or each and im supersetting everything so i rest as i move to my next exercise

Caitlin.. I hear ya!! I have the same problem.. My daily caloric intake is between 1300-1500... It's impossible to go above 1500 for me unless I start eating bad! If I eat clean, I find it difficult to go higher... I eat every 3 hours and drink A LOT of water so when it's meal time, I'm not so hungry! I'm thinking about spacing my meals every 2 1/2 hours and try to squeeze in a 6th meal to up my calories by at least another 200... since when is it so hard to get enough calories? lol
I also burn around 450 calories at the gym 6 days a week.... my cardio alone burns over 300 and I weight train a different body part almost everyday.... I'm gonna have to throw in a burger and fries somewhere! lol

The diet/nutriton planning can be pretty intimidating and is probably one of the most difficult parts to get down for most people in the competition. So, don't feel bad it is common.
One consideration you may want to think about is logging your daily nutrition intake here in your log. You have many followers here that can give you some real expert advice of tried and true plans that can help you find the precise plan to accomplish your specific goals.

Well. . . you should be losing, but you've only completed one week, right? In the past, I've prepped for shows and not lost a single pound the first four weeks of my diet. I've still lost size, though, and looked better.
I suggest taking circumference measurements, in addition to your weight. Monitor both of those. When they both stall out, then you've definitely got an issue, and something needs to be tweaked.

I didn't realize that you were in week four already. I was thinking that you were only in week two. Either way. . . you don't have a lot of weight to lose, but the recomp of your body could make or break you. It's difficult, but not impossible to lose fat and add muscle all at the same time. So, there is the possibility that that is what's happening with you.
Look over the pics, note your weight, and take measurements. Those three things will guide you. If you don't see progress, or if progress is too slow, then you'll need to switch things up. You already have low calories, so it might be that you change the way you workout.

Meal 6: protein shake and sugar free jello
Had a good workout, chest-triceps-quads-abs with 20 mins on the stair master to warm up and 20 mins of interval running post workout. I'm gaining muscle which is good. I took my 4 week progress pics tonight but my boyfriend has the cord to the camera with him and hes away on business, so i will upload them on sunday, but as for now i am beat and off to bed, night kids.

Like Simpy was saying, more than likely your body is recomposing. I actually didn't think I had made much difference through the entire 10 weeks of the '09 contest until I compared my before pictures with my afters. The difference was significant.
Photo's really are the best way to 'see' changes and again, agree with taking measurements as a way of keeping track of progress.

Muscle is more dense than fat. So a pound of muscle will take up les space than a pound of fat. But in the end, a pound of fat = a pound of muscle. They weigh the same.
Just saying this because this statement will get Caitlin ripped to hell if she ever ventures into the fem sub-forum. Caitlin, do not, under ANY circumstances, ever go into a fem thread and say that muscle weighs more than fat. :D

LOL, sorry that's what I meant. Yeah sorry, a pound is a pound. I used to always use this concept with the trick question of whether a pound of iron weighs more than a pound of feathers or not. Sorry, that's what I meant. Good looking out Simpy!

Ok haven't been posting past couple days, I was out of town for a cousins wedding. It was nice to get back to gym today until my stomach got upset from the creadyl again so I'm going off it and I'm going to start nobeta tomorrow. Iv tryed half scoops and more water and at this point just the smell of it makes my stomach turn :( But regardless had a pretty good workout, back bicept ad and abductions calf and abs. My bicepts are starting to come around, my back still needs alot of work. I also ran 2 and a half miles this morning. Took 2 ketocuts this morning and 2 more before the gym tonite. Intake was 1056 calories-49grams of fat (too high)-84 grams of carbs and 68 grams of protein.

Ok so im going to take kdavidsonttm's adivce and just post my daily intake here and we'll see what you guys think and also mabye it will keep me eating clean so i dont have to admit to something bad i ate lol
Meal 1: 3 egg whites, 1/4 cup oatmeal with 2 packets of equal
Meal 2: 2 rice cakes with 2 tablespoons peanut butter
Meal 3: 2 ounces ground turkey, 1/4 cup brown rice, 1/4 cup frozen peas
Meal 4: a small-ish slice of birthday cake my boss made me :(
Meal 5: 4 ounces chicken, 1/4 cup brown rice
Meal 6: Protein shake and sugar free jello
Ok well today was a pretty good day, meals were as follows:
Meal 1: 1/4 cup oatmeal, 3 egg whites and espresso
Meal 2: 2 rice cakes and 2 tablespoons peanut butter
Meal 3: 1/4 cup brown rice, 1/4 cup peas, 4 ounces ground turkey w/ a little yellow mustard
Meal 4: 2 celery sticks with tuna
Meal 5: 4 ounces chicken and 1/4 brown rice with pasta sauce
Meal 6: protein shake and sugar free jello
IMO your caloric intake is very close to being where you want it with your stated goals. 1200-1500 kcals daily should get you where you want to be.
A couple things you might try,
FATS: Try adding some additional healthy fats into your diet, Peanut Butter, almonds and almond butter, avocados are all sources of healthy fat that should be a regular part of your diet. Also supplementing with CLA, fish oil and sesamin will help condition your body for fat burning as a fuel source. Ideally your fat intake should accompany each meal and represent about 20% of your caloric intake.
IE: On a 1200 calorie intake you are getting 240 kcals from fat = 20%
PROTEIN: Try to increase your protein intake to around 60% of your daily calorie count. Get sources of lean protein with each of your six meals except for your carb load meal. Chicken breast, protein supplements, lean top sirloin and salmon are great sources. Protein will help burn fat and build lean body mass.
NOTE: You don't want to intake protein with your carb load meal - this will cause an insulin spike and that will cause your body to store your carbohydrates as body fat. On your carb load meal just consume your carb sources and fats.
CARBOYDRATES: Your carbs should represent about 20% of your daily caloric intake and should be consumed outside of your protein intake. The best sources of carbs for a cut diet plan would be to eat sources of fibrous carbs such as broccoli, green beans, spinach and asparagus with each meal.
So your breakfast now of egg whites (protein) and oatmeal (low glycemic carb) will still cause an insulin spike. Instead eat your egg whites and a cup of steamed spinach. (protein and fibrous carb = no insulin spike) Also, add one whole egg to your eggs for the fat content.
Reserve your oatmeal and sweet potato for your carb load meal and then eat your vegetables for bulk.
See how this fits into your day, and what type of results you get.

Hunger really isn't a good indicator of your body's progress. I have to agree with xX. . .Xx. 1000 calories is very low. Your body will likely plateau very quickly on such a low number, and you'll do a lot of damage over time to your metabolism.
As for the Creadyl, the stomach upset is an issue. I would suggest going very, very slowly on taking it. Start with a 1/4 scoop at a time and take up to one scoop total throughout the day. Also, I wouldn't take it on a completely empty stomach.

Ok well had a good day, got too busy at work to enter all my food intake for today but its about what it usually is, a little chocolate also though lol
My ketocuts are still doing me proud, even after a not great week last week eating and working out wise i dont feel i gained anything. Im starting taking NObeta before the gym, just one cap because i dont want to get the rush as i still do with my ketocuts sometimes on a full stomach lol but im exicted to see some results from that
Had a quick workout, its going to be a long week at work my boss is going on vacation next week so their cramming in clients wherever they can so its longer hours, but regardless still made it, shoulders-hamstring-glutes-obliques today. i'v been feeling very weak the past 2 days im not sure why but im trying to up if not my weight then my reps still. And i quess thats it, excited to try out my sort of new diet plan tomorrow and see how the rest of the week goes and see if i can follow it for a whole week straight! lol man i suck at this dieting stuff....

I would recommend a carb-reloading meal every 18th meal or the last meal every third day. I did this during my transformation and it really seemed to go very well. For my carb meal I did not consume any protein only carbs.
1 cup green beans (Steamed with 32g of PB on them for the fat YUM!)
6.5 oz ruby red grapefruit
1/2 cups oatmeal (you can throw in a few raisins to mix it up too.)
12 almonds (fat)
8 oz sweet potato
The green beans and grapefruit are fibrous carb sources while the sweet potato and oatmeal are both low glycemic carb sources. The peanut butter and almonds are healthy sources of essential fat. Sometimes I mix 32g of almond butter into my oatmeal in place of the 12 almonds YUM!

Ive read ALOT of conflicting stuff on this. Now when you say "fibrous", think slow digesting right? And Ive read for a card reload you want simple carbs that will digest quickly??? Along with that Ive heard you dont want a lot of fat in that meal as well. Or is that for a refeed, are they even different? whats going on!

I havent read up alot but just from what my boyfriend tells me, who trains me and helps with my diets, i look at fibrous carbs as sort of free-bees, i can eat them if i need a snack and not worry alot about them. The sweet potatos and high glycimic carbs i only have on my carb up days, they make you pay haha As far as fats i try to keep mine good ones only comming from fish, peanut butter, almonds, avacados and such, but im a sucker for chocolate so i take in some bad fats also lol hope that helped a little lol

I haven't read back, but if you're getting carbs daily, I'm not sure that I would dedicate every 18th meal to a carb up. Are you doing rice/rice cakes/oats pretty much on the daily? If so, then one cheat meal a week should be sufficient.

I think in the area of nutrition and dieting there are as many plans and ideas are there are people who write books. I have been very impressed and seen good results with the nutrition plans in Mark Lobliners books located as a free download from the Scivation website.
Fibrous Carbs are from vegetable sources and are slow digesting. They have a low glycemic value which means they will not cause an insulin spike which would contribute to the body storing body fat. Fibrous Carbs also are contain low caloric counts and can help add bulk to the diet to help with hunger.
Fats are a vital part of a nutrition plan designed to cut body fat levels. Appropriate healthy fats as a part of any meal and especially a meal containing carbohydrates will reduce the bolus size entry into the small intestine and trigger the pancreas to release an appropriate insulin concentration and not a major spike from carbohydrates and protein.

I know from experience regardless of how much you love a certain food item that over the course of a few weeks or even days it become a chore to eat. If you want to vary from the spinach here are some other sources of fibrous carbs cucumbers, broccoli, red and green peppers, green beans, cauliflower, mushrooms, and carrots are good examples of fibrous carbohydrates.

Great point Simpy, from looking at Caitlin's meals above it looks like she is consuming carbs with most meals. In this event the carb upload meal would not be necessary but adding some additional calories daily would be beneficial.

Well your height and weight is close to mine and I think 1600cal is a good number to fluctuate off, you can go a little lower on days you workout. And 1600 might sound like a lot to you that eats so little (I wish, Im an eater) but if your workouts are long and/or intense you need energy in the form of calories to fuel it.
i was taking 1 scoop with 16 oz, then was doing half a scoop with 16 ounces, then i tryed 1 scoop with 20 ounces and now its to the point that the smell of it grosses me out. gotcha
I drink alot of water during workouts and like a more diluted taste intra-workout, so for reference I usually mix 1 scoop into 30-32oz water

Hey, for low carb and sweet there's a lot of different recipes in the Keto forums but they're not going to satisfy the sweet tooth that you REALLY want.
You're not ingesting very much fruit; try adding berries! I think would be the perfect solution to your sweet tooth by giving you necessary anti-oxidants, nutrients along with simple sugars! Drinking juice after a work out I think would be a good idea. Don't quote me on this though, I'm on a keto diet so drinking juice and protein powder is key

I didnt make it to the gym too much the resort had a tiny little gym so my boyfriend and i did some cardio and abs one day and the next i just treaded water in the pool for a half hour and that was hard! lol it was nice to be back in the real gym last nite, i did triceps, chest, hamstrings and abs with 10 mins of warm up cardio before and 20 mins after. i'll post my food and supplement reviews tonight when i get home from work, im not making it to the gym today, the ever rising pile of laundry is driving me nuts and i need to tackle that before work this afternoon.

Yepp, i think a big part of what keeps us so strong is that we do work out together and cheer eachother on. Alot of people dont understand how people like all of us are, working out and eating right and all that so its nice that we have that together. He also makes all my workout plans for me, i'v got the diet down but the weight lifting is his department lol

5% is a pretty big amount yes, but don't forget it measures bodyfat %, not weight. So if you lost say 5 pounds of fat, but gained 5 pounds of muscle, you would still weigh the same, but your bf% would be lower than before, even though you still weigh the same as before. And make sure you try to stay on the ball with your meals! You need to be taking excess Kcals to maintenance for proper growth.

So i didnt make it to the gym today, tossed and turned all night then my gramma asked me to perm and cut her hair after work today so that took up most my night, but for good reason. So i'll get back tomorrow. Not too much updating to give for today, my back is pretty sore from last nights workout, which i look at as a good thing, thats one big area i need work so pain is progress in my eyes lol but really i just didnt drink enough water i guess, ok im blabbling so here are my macros for today...
CALS 1205/ FAT 45g/ CARBS 75g/ PROTEIN 101g

i know i know lol i missed a meal because i was napping and trapped in a law and order 2 part episode, today was about 1200, so im working on getting them up there, i subbed in 1/4 cup oatmeal and a protein shake as my afternoon meal instead of celery and i think thats really helping get my calories up. Oh an do we need to give our ratings of the supplements daily or can we do a weekly rating? i just feel like its getting redundant doing it every day because my score never really changes lol

During my Transformation I was trying to ingest 1500-1750 calories a day to cut. I was only eating chicken breast, broccoli, lean sirloin, green beans and peanut butter. Eating like that it was difficult to get that many calories in every day since most my total meals were in the 350 calorie range and I was simply not hungry with all the food I was eating.
After my transformation I began a clean bulk and was eating 3600 calories a day with oatmeal, Ezekial Bread, Sweet Potato and the like. It is much easier to get the calories in with this type of food.
In all honesty I really am missing my protein cut diet plan and very seriously am considering going back to it. I had 100X more energy and felt much better than I do now. Also, while I was not gaining as much muscle as I desired I cut body fat whereas now I am seeing gains in muscle which is great but I am also seeing gains in the waist area as well and that is ONE thing I do not want to see. I am still fitting in my size 29 jeans but have to do something here soon diet wise or dig my 31's back out of the closet. haha

I would assume that you upped the calories too quickly. I would have advised going with a more gradual gain in calories. Also, you'll be hard pressed to bulk without some fat gain.

Caitlin, how many KetoCuts are you taking and how often?
When you mention getting energy from the KetoCuts it does have some stimulant so you may see the effects from that, are you talking energy during your workout or through the day?
Your supplements will definitely help give you energy and drive you through the workouts but you will also need a good balance between your training and nutrition to realize the full benefit of your supplements.

I'm taking two in the morning after breakfast and two in the afternoon before the gym. What I'm not noticing anymore I'd the energy after taking them, I do get the focus but I used to count on them as a pick me up before the gym and I'm not getting that anymore, I can take them and easily take a nap if my mind allows me lol

lol, I know what you mean on the nap.
I think your dose on the KetoCuts is sufficient and I do not know that I would increase it. Your body will adjust to the stims in this and that is probably where you are at currently.
Pre-workout formulas like Betacene and CreaDyl will really give you that initial push of energy to power you into a workout that you are looking for and Glutacene will help you sustain that energy and drive level.
I think if you look at maintaining a proper nutrition plan along with getting plenty of rest each night then you will find your supplements working to provide you everything you need to really propel your workouts and results into the next level. It really takes a balance of all these areas to be at your best.
I can tell the difference when I don't eat right or when I do not get enough rest. If I have a low energy day in the gym I don't rate my Betacene low as the cause for my low energy is not in part on what Betacene did or did not do for me but rather the other factors that contribute to my overall energy level were not in balance. I see people do that often.
Now I better take my own medicine and get into bed lol  since I have to be up in about 5 hours :(
Have a great day and kill it in the gym tomorrow!

Agreed. Proper nutrition and rest are the most important. Without those two your workouts will not be as effective, and your supplements will not be able to overcome poor nutrition or exhaustion. Once you get those two in order, you'll find that the addition of supplementation and a solid workout routine will get you in shape and seeing results like never before.

Well as I was just telling Barbie I did make it to the gym this morning for some cardio, I love to get it over with in the morning if I can but I never want to give up the sleep lol but if I want to lose more fat I'm going to have to lose some sleep. I didn't do any lifting, Thursdays we work 11 to 8, today 10 to 8, so Thursdays are my cardio only days. My meals went well, if I'm busy with clients then I can't snack so it's good lol my boyfriend and I went to sushi for dinner so my fat and carbs are higher but oh well.
My ratings for kc today:
mood: 10

focus: 10 (wouldn't be able to right mow w/o it)
pump and strength: didn't lift today

Not sure what your "hand thing" is, but I have a "wrist thing" and when it gets going it is so frustrating (old arm wresting injury, btw). Good thing you only need your lower half for most cardio!

Glad you kicked that lack of motivation to the curb! If you get down, remember I'm here. Just a PM away. :D
Well funny my lack of motivation wasn't for working out or eating good, cause i'v been doing that, even drunk saturday night i only wanted rice cakes and peanut butter not my usual BK or tacobell lol but my lack of motivation was turning the computer on to hop on the fourms lol

OOOk so i didnt make it to the gym last night, pulled one of those - i'll take a quick cat nap and be all rested to lift great- and didnt wake up untill 8 lol so regardless i went to the gym this morning, did 20 mins of intervals, jogging and 4 and sprinting at 8 for 20 mins, then did some abs- 3 sets of planks, roman chair lifts and seated crunch machine at 40lbs, i cant wait to lift tomorrow, i haven't since Monday. I have a best friend home whose in the peace corps and i haven't seen her in a year so obviously she's comming before the gym right now. I'm going to start getting better about posting what exercises and weight i'm doing also starting tomorrow.

Actually, it was... I was teaching summer school ~9 years ago and I just couldn't let that kid win. Anyway, from then on, I often tweak it and have even lost some range of motion. (Arthritis and lupus--in the joints--runs in the family.)

I have to start of by saying i just watched my sisters keeper on hbo, and wow, i never cry at movies, and i was embarrassed to say i cried. But moving on...today was a good day, no am workout because i was getting my hair done and i use a high level and it would have made it sting more, but i did make it after work, it was back and bi's-calfs-abb and adductions and abs today. Im feeling good about where i am, i still need to lose fat but im happy with whats happening underneath all the fat haha I'm decreasing my cardio, im going in the am 3 days a week for 30mins and after workouts 3 days a week im doing 20mins. My am sessions are HIIT and afternoon im doing lower, the stairmast or bike- anyone think this is a good idea? i'v heard if i do too much cardio you can risk getting soft looking and i dont want that. Ok on to my reviews, only KC today, i had some errands to run before the gym and forgot to take my NO

Cardio is a very difficult variable to judge for someone else. I think as long as you are seeing progress, then you should keep doing what you're doing. But be careful with it, especially since you are doing HIIT in the morning. Do you have Glutacene? You need to make sure you have a good BCAA supp to sip on while doing your cardio to preserve muscle.
I've had all the flavors of Hydrowhey and they are goo imo. Better than their regular whey flavoring. Strawberry was the best imo.

Yummy that sounds good, only problem is my stomach isnt a huge fan of milk lol and i dont have a blender. But i did just have my first scoop and it is wonderful! i ordered the chocolate because i have an addiction, i mixed it up with just some ice cubes and its so rich and much more chocolaty than the other whey proteins i'v had, its a keeper!

Great to see you back Caitlin, you're doing fabulous! I don't think hydrowhey is worth it imo, I'd look into stuff like XF protein if I were you if you wanted affordable good tasting protein. Haha well we have all been best of friends sence 1st grade, so we've been through so much that nothing can make us have a bad time haha....my intervals are: grade of 1/ walk first and last 5 mins, then i sprint at 8 every other minuet and jog at 4. if im feeling good i go faster for the sprints but always jogging at 4 inbetween.
