I had an accident this weekend at the lake...

An accidental fall caused rotator cuff strain and a torn tricep muscle on my left arm. Doc's orders forbid weight training on this arm and the left side of my back til everything is totally healed, which he says could be months.

Now, I have absolutely no intention of working my left upper body. My question I guess is for suggestions on how to deal with training one handed. I can still do lower body no problem..

Honestly, I would take the first week to two weeks and do nothing but ice down the injuries and do cardio. If you are not allergic to aspirin, I would take a couple advil twice a day also. If the tear is more than a minor it will take some time to heal... Make sure you go to your physical therapy. Otherwise you could end up unbalancing your physique.
