Im not a college athlete or even a good athlete currently. My life is a slight mess due to my own doing. Currently in the middle of an oxycontin addiction. I was once a very good athlete though. It was just ten and a half months ago I placed at the state track meet in the 110 m hurdles and competed in the 300 m hurdles. It was my first and only year running track and had I done it all 4 years of highschool I'd be running in college. My life has been on a downward spiral. Been using painkillers for the past year and half with the past ten months being daily with minor breaks. In that time I went from a ripped 6"1 170 lbs to a frail 6"1 155 lbs. I use to work out daily now havent done so in nine months.
My greatest athletic accomplshment when it came to athleticism was my hops. My best dunk was a 360 and was very close to pulling the vince carter arm in the rim dunk, only needed another inch. My goal is to get my life in track, get sober, and use working out as my daily high in life like I use to, rather than the fake euphoria narcotics gives.

My use in narcotics has slowed, use to do 200mg oc daily and now use roughly 50 mg daily
with some days without it. Im not going to lie my numbers at first in this journal are going to be very pathetic. It's going to take time for me to get my strength back, strength was never my strong suit in the first place, it was my quickness. I just got done watching the highschool All-American dunk contest and remember thinking I use to throw down dunks like that and it was a reality check in a way.

Starting tomorrow Ill post my work out and diet. Im going sober tomorrow so my workouts and diet are going to be pathetic for awhile due to detoxing but I'll fight through it to get some exercise.

After a month of daily exercise Ill start a serious work out program, like the one I use to do.

Way to step in and take control of your life man. You seem to be as much of a dunking fanatic as I am, so from one 6'1 dunker to another, good luck. Hopefully you'll get back to where you were and pass that level. I'll definately be keepng tabs, checking in on your progress.
