'Magnum Ammo' (MGNM AM) is a specialization in Battlefield: Bad Company 2's multiplayer, unlocked at Rank 15. It increases the bullet damage of both your primary and secondary weapon by 25% and also increases the range of your weapon by decreasing bullet drop. For example, if bullet drop began to affect your weapon at 1000m, it would now only begin to effect it at 1250m. It is a very useful specialization and is considered by many to be greater than the Marksman spec.

Oh, I am not quite there yet.

I did learn that I should be using burst fire. I've been just holding down the fire button the whole time. :o Hoping to make some improvements in my game.

Herro. I've not been on xbox for like a week. Will be playing some batman getting pissed because hard mode is quite difficult after homework is finished.

I remember raging while playing Batman almost as much as I do now playing BC2. I don't care what anyone says, some of the boss fights (especially at the end) were pretty stinking hard. Actually the hardest fight for me was the fight right before fighting the Joker (where he is up on that make-shift 'throne').

I don't think I've actually fought a boss yet lol. The joker threw some mutated thing at me but that was fairly easy to figure out. When I get frustrated I just stop playing it for the day. It is a fun game though!

That was my only gripe about that game. I mean you just got through fighting those same mutanted guys a couple of levels back. Now let's add them, make them harder and throw everyone else in the cell block at Batman.

There was hardly anywhere in that arena that you could move to without getting hit by something. :rage:

Just that whole challenge map crap at the end, to progress.

Felt like some batman challenge level that shouldn't have been in the game.

And reflected how lazy the design team was to create something new. I'm sure the design discussion was, hmmmmm. We can't do anything else so lets just throw all the bad guys in the mix and make the player do specific combat techniques. How do we make that challenging? Well.........we make them only use abilities that they never used the game before and then make them do it in a constrained time frame. While throwing more baddies in the mix.

Yea, the 2 lead guys that got fired by Actirape couple weeks ago are starting it up.

They are even working with EA on the new project.

IW have already lost another lead designer, lead programmer, and the lead animator now. So that place is going down.

Also I have found myself quite proud user of the XM8, me and PGL were playing we agreed it worked well, won a few games with a poor team as normal. We nearly went and played MW2 for the "lulz" but didn't as he was off.

My K/D ratio is deplorable. I know you aren't suppose to worry about that, but I had even thought about resetting my profile (if that's even possible). I played for the longest time not realizing the power of burst fire. I have been getting 1.0+ K/D ratios lately but it's not going to help much at this point.

Plus I have a bad tendency to get at least 4-5 deaths per game for spawning on a squad mate that someone else has targeted. I am much more inclined to spawn at base camp now than I am to spawn on a squad mate.

Watch how the shooter 'automatically' points in different directions while shooting (looks like he is twitching). He was running some sort of script which allowed him to 'auto aim'. Basically all he had to do was pull the trigger and he killed.

Pay close attention at the 20 second mark and you'll see what I am referring to.

He had 34 kills and 0 deaths at one point there.

MW2 wasn't hacked. Even when people were getting banned they were just playing burned versions of the game.

That "crap" that happened in MW2 was cause of exploits of IW's crappy QA. Which is "hacking" but not in the way of how hacking with aimbots is on PC.

Which is why i like playing fps's on consoles, i can play knowing that this crap doesn't happen as much as it does on PC.


Also you can shoot between the wood planks in BC2, each piece does have its individual collisions proxies. Still kinda hard, plus he was shooting inside the building at someone? Plus on the other side of that building is a metal gate which can't be shot through. :P

I will take it but whether it will let me play online is a different story, my live runs up around this time anyway and whether i will renew it is a different story as I will be budgeting at College.

It is possible to hack the Xbox. The Xbox data can be pulled off of the HD and modified in a way that gives you an advantage if you know what you're doing. But it is a bit tougher to do and get away with (You can't install and run anything on the Xbox like you can on the PC though). Borderlands for example had all kinds of weapon hacks. They did away with them though.

Buying games is so overrated these days anyways. Renting is the cheapest way to go and after you beat it, you most likely have no use for it after that.

between the two....hmmm

there are demos for both. try that first. also, if you want to play online that is a big factor. JC2 is single player only
