He has what appears to be a shoulder-worn tennis racket case which has only one side of the strap hooked up on that he's using to drag the actual case behind him. He was just sort of shuffling along like he didn't really have anywhere to be at any specific time and was just out for a stroll.

I find that it is rarely ever the speed of your Internet connection that is the cause of laggy games. Most of the time it's the servers that are hosting the games or bad code in the game itself.

Cool story: There was a 4 car pile up today when I was dropping my sister off at school, one of which was an Escape (same thing I was driving, mine being silver) but a tope color. So I snapped a picture and sent it to my mom going "Oh no, what do I do?"

Needless to say I had a sinister laugh the entire way home. **** was priceless.

Being that you want something that's concealable and adequate I would go with something in the 9mm being that it will be your first gun.

Buying used is a good way to go. You can save significant money that way. I bought my Glock used and have never had a problem with it.

If you are just starting out the KelTecs listed above could pose an issue. They do have a good bit of recoil. This is due to the guns being so small (short barrel). So shooting them could take some getting used to. It wasn't too bad for me starting out.

A Glock is a quality gun that can be had in the $400 - $500 range if bought used. Of course a good revolver can also be had in that price range as well. A revolver is a good 'n00b gun'.

Personally I am partial to the KelTecs because they are not expensive, very easy to conceal, and have a lifetime warranty.

Since you guys are talkin guns. You got any noobie tips on looking for a good starter pistol that can double for self defense and fun shooting?

Starting with a pistol is all i care about now, but i want to invest in building my own AR-15.

Glock 19 is just about the perfect gun. Accurate, balls reliable, parts are widely available and cheap including holsters and trigger upgrades (did it myself). 9mm is plentiful and cheap, and not that .40 s&w broscience. Go either 9mm or .45. 9mm is vastly more available and very cheap especially at walmart. 9mm is perfectly adequate for self defense. Anyone who says otherwise is full of **** and ignoring bullet tests. Just pick a modern bullet design for your carry ammo. Plenty of info online.

building an ar- if you dont want to build it, check out CMMG bargain bin. I got an 18" 1:7 twist chrome lined AR15 for $600. Properly staked gas key and all the other necessary/favorable aspects.

I've got a Russian Nagant rifle. Those can be had pretty cheap. They kick like a mule though.

Oh, I thought you were talking about .223 ammo. I can't get any of that around here for less than $25 per 20.


Hmm.... What's your experience with handguns or guns in general? How much you wanting to spend... $300 - $500?.

I have two guns that I carry with me daily. They are both made by KelTec P3AT. The first one fits right in my front pocket with a pocket holster. It's a .380 (just adequate for self defense). It goes with me everywhere.

I also have a KelTec P11 that I just bought. It's a 9mm and it is carried daily as well in Smartcarrry Holster.


I also have a Glock G22 (.40 cal) that I love, but just can't carry too easily.


All these guns can be had in the $300 - $500 range.

I could recommend a few online gun sites to buy from but they are a pain being that you have to have the gun shipped to an authorized dealer for a fee. You are generally better off visiting the local shops and seeing what they have. Unless you are getting a great deal with an online site.

P3ATs are $209 and PF-9s are $299 at CDNN investments. Glocks that arent the long barrel versions should not be over $500 flat.



Also I cancelled my gamestop reservation for reach and went to best buy for it. $20 giftcard when you pick up the game, woot.

I just bought some Winchester PDX 147 grain bullets (9mm) that have a velocity of 1000 fps. These are +P bullets and are the same kind that the FBI use. I also have some basic 180 grain .40 bullets that have a velocity of around 950 fps. Roughly the same velocity. With a larger bullet, I would think that the .40 edges the 9mm in this area.

Not trying to incite an argument here. Just trying to state my opinion on the 9mm vs the .40 argument. I have both calibers and love them both. I trust either one with my life so it's not a big deal to me.

Note: I am no gun expert. I just love shooting them. ;)

Try to get winchester rangers, they are the same thing but cheaper as they were intended for law inforcement. Ive bought boxes of it at ~$25/50 whereas I get boxes of PDX at ~$20/25

Copies of Modern Warfare 2, World at War, Halo 3, and Gears of War 2. Brb not going to get robbed by gamestop but by some local nig nogs instead.
