I just rented Splinter Cell Conviction not 6 hours ago and beat it in that very time frame.

For those of you thinking about buying that game, don't. Your money is better spent at your local Blockbuster. I'm planning on going back tomorrow and being like hey, wtf, this game is horse feces. I spent 7 dollars to beat a game in 6 hours. That's less than 1 dollar per hour.

I 'think' that I am going to give BC2 a rest for a while.

I am going to try to work on beating a few games that I bought but never really played or finished (Orange Box, Assassin's Creed, GoW 1 & 2, and Dark Sector). I've printed out the achievements for these games and plan on getting most of them.

But I am sure when I get RDR that I will not be playing anything else for a while.

I put in a plug to have the wife get me RDR. Not sure that I will be getting on the day of release. But fear not, I plan on renting it so that we can go some gentle hunts right away.

The only issue for when it's digital download, is that they'll sell it in chapters, for say $22.99, which will be more than what a new game is.

I understand that publishers need to recoup costs but I hate the fact that they can basically cripple a copy of a game you purchased so you can't sell it second hand. I know other industries don't compare, but I don't think they should be allowed to profit from what you decide to do with a copy you already purchased legitimately.

It's a gamble for them, it might pay off. But if this thing becomes fully entrenched I'm definitely jumping off the bandwagon if I notice I'm spending more for way less going into the future. Depends if other gamers feel this way or not.

EA will probably try it out and see the outcome. IF it's not good feedback then they could possibly dismiss the tactic and try something else. They have been doing good with the players lately and i doubt CEO Riticollio will want to screw their rep up now.

I saw at BestBuy a elite forza bundle they had, and they had it bundled with 2 extra controllers and a 70$ HDMI cable. I thought it was a returned 360 or something but it wasn't preopened or anything.

My BB is always doing these extra added on bundles. They did the same to the FF13 360, just starting taping controllers and HDMI cables to the boxes for the same price of 300$.

Looks like they patched BC2 for the consoles this morning.

Here's some of the tweaks:

Slightly increased the damage of the UZI at long range.
The AKs74u now has more felt recoil when aiming.
The G3, VSS, and all SemiAutomatic rifles now settle slightly faster between shots when aiming.
The PKM, Type 88LMG, G3, An94, and 40mm shotgun have returned to their former glory.
Increased the damage of the MG3 to bring it in line with the rest of the LMGs.
Fixed a bug where the Saiga12 with slugs would do too much damage at long range.
Fixed a bug where the SVU would do too little damage at long range.
Fixed a bug where M95 rounds would not kill armored targets with headshots.

Just wanted to let you all know, that Lost Planet 2 is about the best looking game I ever seen.....that still sucks. Unless you count the co-op, I didnt play of the multiplayer modes yet. I've HEARD that part of the game is decent. No. I counted cals for a while and stopped cuase it was making me not want to diet. I eat the same amount as i did then, except maybe more protein than i should be at this weight.

I should recount and ejaculate with my current weight though.
