I am starting the new 2010 Double T Transformation Contest and here is entry 1 of my log.

I have uploaded my photos, and am awaiting an answer on how I am suppose to enter the contest. The website won't let me enter my details without picking a state which doesn't apply since I live in Canada.

Any help would be great on how I am suppose to enter. For now I am going to do what I did last time and begin the contest until I find out this information.

You guys are so awesome! Your support is very well received ;)

Here has been my experiences in round 2 - You know you've had an intense workout when:

- You can't get off the toilet without the aid of a handi-bar.
- You are walking funny and everyone around you is staring.
- You're driving your car and the steering wheel feels like your rotating a boulder.
- Putting on simple clothing like socks or bra's become the biggest challenge in your day.
- You workout to try and loosen the muscles and all you do is make it worse.
- You quickly realize when getting in and out of a car how much muscles are actually working.
- You cough and/or sneeze and also realize you had muscles in places you never knew about.

So some light humour to try and turn my experiences around into something funny... if you all could only see me now... ;) Have a good night!

haha thats great, just the other day i hit abs for the first time in months and everytime i sneezed i got the worst ab pains cause they were so sore. I would yell oooowwwww!!! after sneezing and my parents just gave me a WTF stare lol. But good luck with the contest, looks like you train balls to the wall which i like :).

Since everyone's quoting the so-sore-I-can't-get-off-the-toilet entry :p, I want to ask, how many scoops of glutacene are you using per workout? If you're that sore, you may want to up the dosage.

LMAO... Funny you mentioned that... I am out of glutacene and have placed an order for more. They should be arriving any time now.

Currently I am taking NoBeta, CreaDyl, (out of ketocuts and glutacene) and protein shake.

I am pumped for this round too. My legs are finally able to walk again without any pain. The reason why I was in a lot of pain though was because I increased my leg press from 180 lbs to 250 lbs. I have pretty strong legs for a girl ;) I get funny looks at the gym when I leg press that much because underneath all the cotton balls that appear to make me look like a fluffy Easter Bunny I am actually quite strong. Some people at the gym can't believe how much I can leg press or back press... Arms however are another story but I am glad to see that they are improving. My arms are the weakest link on my body and have been working very hard to bring them up. When I first started going to the gym I was only doing 5 lbs for arm curls and now I am up to 15 lbs for arm curls (free weights - dumbbells) so that is a pretty good achievement for me. I feel stronger than ever and I can't wait to continually improve. I honestly love the feeling of not having to ask people to lift things for me because I can do it for myself now. There is a lot of pride in being more independent ;)

HAPPY EASTER BUNNY EVERYONE! I AM GOING TO NOW MOULD MY PROTEIN BAR INTO AN EGG SO I THINK I AM EATING SOMETHING I SHOULDN'T LOL

Spring weather definitely helps with transforming your body as it lifts the spirits from a cold frigid winter (especially in Canada) and it's definitely nice to start getting some sunlight for that Vitamin D to kick in.

Yesterday was a great day. Wanted to get some cardio in while they gyms were closed and had a good time at the park. We played some frizz-be, went on a hike, then climbed a big ski hill. The cool thing is that normally I would have not even attempted a climb that high for two reasons - fear of heights and also the tired factor. I only stopped twice to catch my breath which is a huge improvement. Normally I would be so exhausted. This makes me feel so thrilled that I was able to climb this because it means that I will be ready to climb the Dorset Trail and Tower in the summer... this was something last year that I attempted and made it to the top - but just barely! I was terribly winded last year and so this year my goal is to make it to the top without being completely winded.

This ski hill we found yesterday I think would be a good spot to train for my climb and I think we probably walked almost 8 km yesterday. The hike was nice too and you really didn't know how much time went by because we really enjoyed the scenery. I felt like I had a lot of energy yesterday because the weather was so nice. It just seemed funny how this ski hill still had snow on it, and I am walking up it in capris and a tank top... seemed a bit backwards ;)

This week I am going to be increasing my dose of NoBeta to 6 pills now. I am not really feeling anything with 5 anymore so I am going to be up to full dose tonight.

I don't know where I would be without these products. I am a huge fan! I can't believe how much stronger I am getting. It was kind of funny when I was wrestling with my honey and he noticed that I am a lot stronger. That made me feel really good inside.

Tomorrow I have a job interview downtown... I hope something will come from it. I am doing my best not to stress out too much about my EI deadline ending at the end of the month. Funny how this time two years ago I had no trouble finding a job, and since I've been laid off trying to find something in my field has been so disheartening. Stupid economy!

Have a good day everyone and keep them muscles working.

My recovery isn't as good as when I take the Glutacene I will admit. When I take the Glutacene my recovery time is almost instant. I feel some tension in the muscles but not nearly to the degree as it normally is and the length of time that I am sore is shorter when I am on glutacene. It should be coming in this week along with some bodybuilding.com clothing I ordered. I love their clothes ;)

I really liked going outside for my cardio too. I am hoping that if I loose another 10 lbs or so I am going to give tennis a try. I use to play it a lot when I was younger but because I am bigger I bounce harder hehe! Several years ago I had a breast reduction so at least that will take care of one of the problems. When too many things jiggle it can throw a girl off balance. Its funny how as you get bigger the less things you can do comfortably. I am looking forward to reaching my goals so that there will no longer be any limitations in the types of activity I can do without pain.

Random piece of knowledge that I picked up while listening to xm radio while they were talking to some porn stars that work out who are very top heavy is that there are custom garments that they make which attach with hooks and such in the front designed to hold the chest in place while running, could probably find them with a quick google.

I think at this point that the orange is my all time favorite, I have tried all three flavors and keep coming back to the orange. I also found them to be a little too sweet to my taste initially but now with mixing 3 scoops into 20 oz of cold water have found the perfect mix for me. Try some different mixes and see what suits you best.

LOL! I think you read my post wrong ;)

I got a breast reduction already a while ago so that takes care of the rack upstairs. Now all I have to worry about is the REST of me shaking like a funky chicken lol is what I was referring to...

Last night I had a rough workout. I didn't want to be there but I went regardless. I made a promise to myself that even if I didn't feel like going, I was going to go and do something because half a workout is better than none. I tend to get moody when it's rainy and ugly outside :p

I have been taking 6 pills of NoBeta for a week now can handle the dose fine now.

I noticed the other day when I was trying on new swim suits that my back muscles are really starting to take shape. I decided to check and see if anything was there because I don't have a full length mirror at home so Walmart mirrors will have to do.

My legs are getting so much stronger faster this round. Not sure why that is. I think it might be that I have more endurance after doing this for a few months now. I have been working on my triceps a lot harder this round because I didn't focus a whole lot on them the first round. They of course hurt the most on my body because my triceps are like - NON-EXISTENT! hehe...

Anyways my black bikini that I purchased for the first round is starting to become too big on me and will soon need new bottoms which is cool because the thing was tight on me when I began.

Well off I go and talk to you guys soon... I have to pound the pavement again and look for jobs in this crapola weather. Ciao!

Thanks again for your positivity. I like hearing such optimism - especially when I am loosing some of mine. It helps to give my head a shake.

My job hunting ended early again due to rain so I decided to hit the gym instead. I worked out for only an hour tonight because I was pretty tired from job hunting.

I had a good workout however. I can easily do 250lbs on the leg press now and so for next week I am going to be adding another 30 lbs to the mix and bring it to 280. That excites me hehe!

I am lifting 15 lbs bicep curls, and am up to 10 lbs for lateral arm raise. That one took me a long time to get to 10 lbs because I didn't have much strength in my shoulders in the beginning. Ever since I have been adding shoulder shrugs my lateral arm raises are becoming easier. I was at 5 lbs for the longest time.

Another thing I have noticed tonight that I can do 80lbs now for leg raise - which I was only able to do 50lbs before and when I do these exercises I can see my muscles now which means I am finally beginning to get some definition in my legs.

For leg curl I am up to 60lbs where previously I was at 30lbs. The leg raise and curl was always harder for me than the leg press but again I am seeing a lot of progress now.

My triceps I am still working on lower weights but the more I work on them, the easier it is becoming so that is good news.

I noticed when I was doing the assisted pull ups, I started at 150lbs resistance, and now I am down to 130lbs of resistance. I can't wait to be able to do those damn things without any aid lol! I always admire people when they do them unassisted because it really is a hard exercise to perform.

I am up to 100 sit ups a day on the big ball in the gym and have been completing them successfully for some time so those I am going to bring up to 150 for next week. Tonight to make it a bit tougher I added a 10lb weight as resistance when I curl up. It was definitely a lot tougher but it felt good.

Tonight I had a weird old guy gocking at me. I came so close to letting the staff at the gym know. He was completely creepy and would walk past me on almost every equipment I was on... Wow those are some significant increases in weights!!! Great job! "Gym Stalkers" are the worst... but it happens! Sometimes women will freak out and not finish their workout but I love that you put him in his place LOL!!!... It would have been a shame if your Boyfriend had to come and rough up an old man LOL!!! ;)

EEK! and then stare at me when I was working out. I got so sick of it I eventually gave him a dirty look and he ventured off. PET PEEVE: Dirty old men who stare at women while they work out. How inappropriate!

Awesome progress so far! Your strength is increasing nicely it appears!

Isn't it awesome to start seeing those leg muscles!!!

Good luck on the job hunt. Something good will happen for you. Just approach the job process as you do your workout - Kill it!

I have had to speak to 2 men at my gym who have been "creepy old guys." The women came to me and asked me to talk to them about their staring problem. Haha. I did, and now the guys don't come around anymore. If you are uncomfortable, definitely tell someone. You shouldn't have to put up with that while you are training!

Very impressive numbers and gains on your training circuit. I can hear your excitement in the way you talk about it here. Just think of what the future will bring with continued gains in strength and the body image that comes along with it.

Sorry to hear about the "creepy guys" at your gym, they are everywhere. A friend of ours had a guy doing her that way and she just looked at him one day and yelled at him in a very stern tone "Get the **** away from me, your creeping me out!" The gym was crowded and I know virtually everyone heard. He has not been seen from since. haha. Of course she turned around and benched 155 on a bb so that may have helped LOL :)

Good luck on today's job hunting, hope the rain holds off.

As for the job hunt, what type of job are you seeking?

Please to announce that I got a call for a second interview at a retail store, and a call for an interview (both for next week) at Canada's Wonderland... That would be such a great place to work in the summer. Even though its a temp job, it is full time till October so that is pretty nice. I hope I get that job because it will by some time while the economy repairs itself and perhaps find something in my field at that time.

Tonight I wasn't able to get to the gym, my son had got in a fight at school and spent most of the day sitting in the principals office, then to the Police to press charges, then to the doctors to get him checked out. Tonight I have to check on him every two hours to make sure he is okay. The doctor thinks he might possibly have a slight concussion. So tonight to lighten up his mood we took him out for dinner and then to Dairy Queen.

Tomorrow we are going to a Globe Trotters game then hopefully to the gym in the evening... I have so much energy tonight for some reason... could be perhaps that I am pumped that I have two interviews lined up. That makes me feel fantastic.

I think that once I get a job I will be much more motivated towards my goal because then I wouldn't have to worry about counting down the weeks till my EI runs out. That has been a ride that I hope I never have to travel on again.

I noticed at the gym last night though that my hands are getting so callused (don't know if I spelled that right). The ones across my palm are so hard now they don't hurt anymore, but since I have been lifting heavier weights I am starting to get calluses all over the back of my fingers now... ouch! Because I work with computers my hands were in really good shape but now I look like I am starting to have trucker hands hahah!

Well I thought I would let you all in on the good news about the interviews... I will let you know how they pan out.

HAVE A GREAT WEEKEND!!!

I am seeking in my field -> I am a web designer and multimedia specialist.

However that field is non existent right now so I have been applying for general jobs in retail, etc. because my EI is running out.

I've had a few web job interviews I am still waiting to hear back from. One is from Ingram Micro and the other is from Umbra. I should hear something for next week I am hoping.

Love the Globetrotter pic!!! I'm sorry to hear your son got in a fight... hope he's ok! I guess as a mom of little boys these are the things I will be dealing with in the future :(
Amazing news about the interviews! Good luck to you on both of them!
Do you wear weightlifting gloves in the gym? That should help with the callouses. They aren't terribly expensive... you can get a great pair for around 20 dollars... mine only cost me 12 dollars... they get the job done though!

I hate to hear that you are having such difficulty in finding a suitable job. I know it is rough all over. My oldest son spent 60K + on college and got home and was unable to find a job making over $7.65 an hour. He couldn't afford to pay his student loans on that and ended up joining the army. It is a shame but hopefully it will get better soon.

I would say go to the gym, I know that it is a HUGE stress reliever for me personally. I can go in an absolute foul mood and come out pumped up and positive ready to take on the world. The rush of endorphines and adrenalin does a body good :)

Keep your spirits up and keep at it, this too shall all pass.

I took all your advice and went to the gym after all last night. I also did some minutes in the tanning booth and I felt better in the end... more like myself.

I did some research and found out that the unemployment rate in Toronto is worse now than it was when I was laid off last year so I am coming to terms that right now it is just not my time to find something in my field. I have given up spending the bulk of my time looking for web jobs and have placed more energy looking into general jobs. I have an interview at Canada's Wonderland on Thursday for a ride operator. It is only minimum wage and seasonal but at least it is better than nothing.

Today I put out 20 more resumes all over the place so again I got some cardio in. I am debating about heading to the gym in an hour if I can get rid of my headache.

I am waiting till my stomach empties so that I can take my NoBeta and CreaDyl.

Does anyone know if Ketocuts are available for purchase yet?

Awesome job getting to the gym!!! I'm sorry to hear about the job troubles... it's bad all over the place right now but I agree with what Simpy said :) Keep your head up, good things will come your way!

I believe KetoCuts are available through the Double T website: http://www.double-tsports.com/products/products_cart.php That should take you right to it, but certainly Simpy or Jordansrt can give you a definite answer on that!

The headache is mostly overheated/stress related. I over dressed because it was cold yesterday and today while job hunting I was sweating. The sun was beginning to get to me after being out for 4 hours handing out resumes.

Thanks for the link. I am going to check it out tonight. Just got back from the gym and increased my leg press as I was mentioning and was able to do the 280lbs. I might even go to a straight 300 next time because I was so full of frustrations that the increase of 30lbs didn't seem like much. I actually had a fantastic workout tonight and really let out some steam. I probably could have gone longer but I didn't want to push it too much.

I am on 6 pills of NoBeta and the CreaDyl. I am beginning to get bored with the taste of the Orange flavour so I might try lemon lime next time. Has anyone tried it and how did it taste?

I am trying very hard to keep my head up, but when you've gone through 1 year of rejections it gets very hard to keep your mind focused on positivity. This is why I began working out in November. It was something to help keep my mind off of this whole rejection thing, and then I was introduced to you guys in January.

Going to the gym and keeping a log of my challenges has been a great tool for me to reflect on, and I often will go back and read what was once so hard, and to see the changes I've made in my appearance really helps me to try harder. I also go back and read the positive comments people leave for me because it also helps to keep me going.

Well I am off to bed now... I am so tired. Night Night! Hope all of you have an excellent night and I wish you all the best for a good week.

The hill was great! Dry thankfully. I went up and down it three times before I tired out. Then went to the gym for legs.

I was creative at the gym and wanted to see how much I could leg press so I kept upping it by 20 pounds and I got up to doing 360lbs for 1 set of 12. I was shocked. So I think I am going to start at 360lbs from this point on. Even though I can't do as many, it is far more challenging for me and I am always up for a good challenge.

I have some exciting news... I got a seasonal job at Wonderland here in Toronto. Even though it isn't in my field of Web Design, it is still something to pay the bills until I do find something in web. It will give me a few more months and hopefully the work situation will be better. If anything I can always try to find some more seasonal help for Christmas. Something to keep me going anyways.

YAY I am on top of a cloud right now. I was feeling so defeated and ready to pull my hair out. I began crying in the parking lot because looking for a full year and coming up with nothing has been extremely depressing, then finally getting a yes... all I could do was cry ;)

So I treated my self to a Caramel Macchiato at Starbucks because it was my small celebration to myself for finally getting an offer. Hopefully I can get as many hours as I can.

Thanks so much, you almost made me cry :D

Funny thing last night as tired as I was, I couldn't get to sleep. I was tossing and turning because there was still so much excitement inside me from getting a job, and your right... it does buy me some time and that was something I was very short of. My EI runs out in 1 week so you can imagine the amount of stress I was under. It was so intense that it was affecting my ability to concentrate at the gym. Now that I have a bit more time (I will still be looking for jobs mind you) but now I have 4 ish or so months more. I am hoping to work double shifts and collect as many hours as I can in those 4 months so that if I fall into the same boat (not able to get a job right away) at least I will have some savings tucked away.

Today I will be going to the beach in Port Stanley (South of London) and walk on the beach and play some Frisbee and take it easy. This will be my last weekend to do this so I am going to enjoy it. Then we are going to head to a Goodlife in the area to workout somewhere new. Might bring my bathing suit since its 20 degrees.

I was really shocked about the leg press too. That is what my bf pushes. Not to shabby for a 5.2 Chicky. I will make sure I get some photo's and a video clip of me doing this feat. and post it on here.

Have a great day and enjoy your weekend.

Wow and Wow! :D I was all stoked about the leg presses, until I read about the job. And I'm not gonna lie, I got a little misty eyed. I'm so happy you found something. Last year I was told that my job was going away and I would have 7 months to find something new. I eventually found something, but took a hit financially (because of the pay cut), and mentally (because the job just isn't as fun). All of that took such a toll on me. And, I was never officially unemployed. I can only imagine how tough all of this has been for you.

I am, sincerely, very happy to hear your good news.

Had a fantastic strong workout. I am now leg pressing 340lbs good now. The NoBeta x6 is giving me no more tingles so I am assuming this means I am getting use to it. On my right arm I can actually see a bicep bump, and the left side there is slowly beginning one. I am probably going to have to do some more reps so that the left one looks proportionate to the right.

Still I am not loosing any weight right now, not sure why, however I feel stronger and I am not gaining which is cool. Gaining for me is worse than not loosing anything.

Yesterday I went for a nice long hike in the trails of the McMichael Art Gallery in Vaughan. That place has some of the prettiest trails and well maintained ones in my area. It was a nice day so I had to enjoy it.

Tonight I am going to be working on abs and back (mid section). Looking forward to it because I no longer dread doing abs now that they are starting to get some strength in them. Before it was so difficult. I was hoping to get to 150 crunches but have only been able to get to 130 so I am okay with that for now. It gets too knotty if I try to do too many of them.

Well I better run. Have a nice day :)

It looks like everything has been going very well for you. glad to hear about your success in everything.

On the weight loss issue, with your workouts you are probably building lean muscle mass which is heavier than body fat so your weight is staying level at this point. The true measurement should be how do you look in the mirror and how do your clothes fit?

I am sure with your numbers your whole body composition is changing and you will see a good reduction in body fat percentage already followed by weight changes.

Just keep up the great work and congrats!

Hi guys.

I thought I should write it here for those who are following me.

I am pulling out of the Ketocuts contest. With the lack of financial resources I am not able to continue purchasing products. I hope you can understand. Even though I did find a part time job, it won't be enough.

I am not quitting my journey however. I will still be working out, posting pictures in my body space, but instead of posting my workout summaries here, I will be posting them in my blog found on my space page.

Thanks to everyone for their support, and as soon as things pick up perhaps I will join another contest further down the road.

Take care :)

This is perfectly understandable. I would love to see you continue the challenge, but I can see why that would not be a wise decision at the moment.

I am very pleased to hear that you are not quitting your transformation, though. I'll be keeping an eye out for you. Please continue to journal so we can all keep up. :)

So sorry to hear you're not going to continue... but your reasons are totally understandable! Don't give up on your training and nutrition because after the great job you did in the '09 contest we're all expecting great things to come from you! (Maybe a 400lb leg press in the very near future??)
Good luck to you with your fitness goals as well as starting the new job!

At the end of the day the main keys to success are diet and training.

Keep at it and even though you may be pulling out of this contest you'll still have a successful transformation.

I have faith in you.

:) Keep up the good work, and its understandable, money concerns take precedent to contests. I'm glad you got a chance to try the products however, you did a good job.

Most of the details are in my blog, but wanted to let you guys know that I possibly found a job finally. I am heading to Montreal to meet with their I.T. department sometime this week. I should hear back soon what their offer will be. I am crossing my fingers it will be a good one.

Took a while to get it uploaded, but you can now view it on my profile

I did 6 reps of 12. The last rep was pretty much to failure... phew that was a good one! Was sore for two days but am feeling much better today.
