Help me out here. I have a herniated pectoral muscle which I'm really self conscious about when it comes to competing. How much does this detract from my physique and would this be judged down? I only saw the lump when I shaved my chest last summer. I got MRI's and chest X-rays to make sure it wasn't a tumor or something and they said it was just herniated muscle tissue. Give me your thoughts, I've tried everything I can to try to 'fix' the problem on my own by stretching and icing it down, etc. but nothing's changed it's appearance. It's only noticeable when my chest is flexed and it causes no pain or any problems with lifting.

I dont think it would hurt u to be honest. Its doesnt really affect your shape. There was a guy that took first in a show I did and he literally was missing a bicep and had some sort of abdominal hernia. I wouldnt sweat it. By the way u look great no homo.

Wouldn't worry about it a bit man. We've all got the things were self conscience about.
