Just wondering what everyone thought the best oatmeal out there was to get. I have been eating quaker, and I just saw the multi grain and was thinking about trying that(anyone know if its any better), but im sure their is better out there. I was thinking about checking out traider joes or the local whole foods grocery store. Any advice or brands to keep my eye open for? Im just looking to get a good low GI oatmeal. I think quaker products are pretty high on the GI scale. Any advice on the ways to look for quality oats?

anyone tried the quaker multi grain yet? It has rolled rye, oats, wheat, and barley. Less fat and calories also and a little more fiber.

Oats are superior to wheat, they contain more protein, twice the amount infact.
Stick with plain rolled oats, they're cheap and proven.

Assuming you are talking about carb-up food, just look for the least processed oats you can find. They should be oat-shaped, and take about 10 minutes to cook.
