My cousin, who is 16 year old girl, 5'11, 192pounds has been wanting to lose weight. I have told her to eat right and given her a workout routine yet she claims she still has problems for the following reasons- #1 her grandmother controls what they eat, and they normally eat junk food for dinner or tv dinners, and she is forced to eat these. #2- her grandmother will not let her join a gym or acquire the necessary equipment to work out, and wont let her go with me to the gym either. #3- she doesnt have a place to do the cardio i told her to do. #4- although she has a weight set in her basement, she is missing some plates but has 2 20kg (44lb) and 2 15kg (33lb) weight plates, 1 5kg (11lb) plate, and 1 10kg (22lb) plate and a barbell and a bench.
Sunday:
Flat Bench: 2x10 Wide, 2x10 Medium, 2x10 close-grip
Incline bench- 4 sets of 6-10
Bench/Chair Dips- 5 sets of as many reps as she can do with her own bodyweight
Monday: Squats: 4 sets 8-12 Wide, 4 sets 8-12 Medium, 4 sets 8-12 Normal
Lunges: 4 sets 8-12 All burnouts
Wednesday: Deadlifts: 5 sets of 5 reps,
Rows: 3 sets 8-12 reps pronated grip; 3 sets 8-12 reps suppinated grip
Thursday: Military Press: 5 sets of 5-10 reps
Upright Rows: 3 sets of 10 reps
Clean and pres- 5 sets of 5
Friday- off
Saturday= repeat all over again
etc
I told her to do 30 minutes of cardio after each workout and have 1 scoop of whey protein (I got her to order Bioplex Pure WPI with her allowance) and a banana and some milk after each workout.
I've advised her on starting steps to eating healthy and making better choices when she can, although her grandma controls this.

-Cousin wants to lose weight, around 50 pounds (16yr old girl, 5'11"; 192lbs)
-Her grandmother wont let her join a gym
-Her grandmother wont consider buying healthy foods or letting her go to the grocery to buy her own food and forces her to eat junk such as tv dinners and such
-Has weight set in her basement with a bench, barbell, and 2 20kg (44lb) and 2 15kg, 1 5kg (11lb) plate, and 1 10kg (22lb) plates
-Currently doesnt have a place to do her cardio due to heavy snow outside of her house where she lives
-Is afraid of being kicked out and sent to foster home if she doesnt do what her grandma says
Any ideas? I'd really like to help my cousins here but I'm sort of out of ideas.
She also wants to try a weightloss supplement but I think she can lose the weight if she stops letting her grandma boss her around
