would taking carnitine while bulking [with a little bit of cardio] be benefitial to keeping my body fat percetnages down? If so, will it affect my muscle gains in any way?

I don't know if this helps but I am supplementing with L-carnitine and I have been able to pack on weight and keep my BF% down. I don't see any problems with it. Any other opinions??

I was just reading about L-Carntine, appearntly the available research on L-carnitine supplementation does not appear to support claims of enhanced aerobic or anaerobic exercise performance.

This is worth reading:

Thanks for the link,
ive decided to give it to my mum who is currently suffering from cholestrol and trying to lose weight.

I also found a study that showed it didn't help obese women lose weight,
so ive decided to perhaps switch to a R-ALA supplement.

Is this ok when bulking?

Oral L-carnitine is absolutely worthless. Injectable is a different story.
