Today was'nt a good day for me. I had to take off today, because of my groin. This injury sucks like no other. I've been dealing with this for awhile. I thought i had it beat once i started taking better care of it, by icing and stretching it. However, a couple of days ago after doing legs as well as cardio, i felt that nagging pain again. I refuse to stop training legs, after all...legs is the core of what makes a bodybuilder. I will however, have to make adjustments. Its hard for me to not do certain exercises and not feel that i cheated myself. But in order for me to continue to be in the gym...i have to take the proper steps to ensure my longevity. I have until monday to do everything possible to get ready for another week of training. I just hope i'm a quick healer.

well after my knee surgery minus physical therapy I could not lift legs for a long time.. The advantage was I still found the energy to crutch into the gym everyday and shred my upper body. When I was on crutches my bench went up dramatically I think because I concentraed on each muscle a little more.
So let yur injury heal and work on everything else even if u have to do machines.
Good luck

Hey Dan,
I understand dealing with injuries and it sucks! Tore my hamstring in june 07, couldn't train any legs for a year (including calves). Slightly tore the top of my pec and minor tear in that left side labrum in my shoulder, took a year off there. Just started training upper body again on jan 1st 2010. And im feeling decent, but now i did something to my right knee, don't know how it happened, might just be from wear and tear, i think i have a small tear in one of the tendons on the inside of my knee cap, VERY frustrating! Im trying to get back on that WNBF stage possibly late this year.

Wow, you've been through alot. It's a true testiment of your character to come back from all of that.
I wish you nothing but the best this year, and years to come! Thanks for sharing that.
