OBF Conestants. Simple straight forward challenge...All of us combined, 1 million push ups by the end of the contest. You need motivation!? HERE IT IS!!! DROP DOWN AND GIVE ME PUSH UPS!!!!!

Rules:
One rule and one rule only...Everyday, get down and do as many push ups as you can. Then post em in this thread and add em to the last person who posted.

For example this is what a post should look like

Total push ups done today: 50
Total to date: 500


Then the next person will post

Total push ups done today: 20
Total to date: 520.


DO THIS UNTIL WE REACH A MILLION. Contribute to this. But please BE HONEST. If you did 1, or 100, it doesn't matter as long as you contribute. We can do this. I will d my set tonight before I get to bed.

If you want keep track of how many you do through out the contest and we'll know who contributed the most by the end.

Now get down and GO GO GO GO GO GO.

Hmmm.. Going to exercise now.
Do you only count perfect form pushups, or are ones from the knee's valid as well?

Correct form brah. You can do it! Even if you cant do a lot together right, if you take part in this contest you should be doing a lot more by the end. The more you do daily, the more you can do in one go

Dont have push ups in my routine :( and max OT is kicking my ass so highly doubtful to incorporate..


could we perhaps do 1 million Calories or minutes cardio challenge?

^^ dont really understand.. was thinking calories burned during cardio, or time doing cardio..

Time doing cardio could work. Calories burned isn't 100% accurate all the time so time would would be better.

Just because you are doing max-ot doesn't mean you can't do pushups...You can do 10 pushups as a warmup on your chest day or your shoulder day, or you could just drop and do 10 pushups right infront of your computer, 10 pushups isnt gonna derail any training program

Can we make a more realistic challenge?

Right now you are looking at 75 pushups a day per person with no one dropping out, and EVERYONE making daily updates in this thread...

It doesnt matter to me what the outcome number is at the end of the challenge, as long as we are all goin for it!

Right now you are looking at 75 pushups a day per person with no one dropping out, and EVERYONE making daily updates in this thread...

You may be right, but I have a theory that I always go by whether it's in school or whatever. The higher I set my goal to something I dedicated to, the more results I will provide because I have to work harder to achieve the higher goal than I would to achieve the smaller goal, I don't even think about me not getting there.


Ok this sounds reallly cool, but can ya give the girls a 2 for 1 on the knees? I know for a fact I cant even do one, but I can do knee ones til I get stronger PLEASE!! This will be the only way I can do this challenge.

Yes sir. I'll definitely be doing them now. Good idea with the challenge. I'm shocked at how much I felt it in my tri's. Especially off just 25. lol

Just because you are doing max-ot doesn't mean you can't do pushups...You can do 10 pushups as a warmup on your chest day or your shoulder day, or you could just drop and do 10 pushups right infront of your computer, 10 pushups isnt gonna derail any training program

a little over 10 weeks to go before the end of the contest...
I think we need to recruit some more folks to make this work!

...And I need to do more pushups apparently!

I think from now on every morning when I wake up I will try to do a minimum of 10 pushups, outside of my workout routine... Should help get the thread moving??

I do these on my workout days...I'm in. Does it count as 60 if I do three sets of 20? Is it just how many you can do in one set?
