hi, this is my first training log so i will introduce myself. My name is Jay i am 14 years old and i have been lifting weights for a little over 2 months, i also have been doing kickboxing/Muay thai for about 4 months. i will write my training every day i hope so i can keep you guys updated.

starting stats
Bench 60kg 5 reps
squat 55kg 10reps
dead lift 70kg 1rep

goals
Bench 70kg 1rep
squat 60kg 10reps
dead lift 80kg 1rep

goals
run 5km under 22minutes
run 1.6km in under 6:30 minutes

I didn't go for my 2km run this morning i was really tired from last nights workout.
So i just got up and did a little body weight workout.
push ups 1x25
squat 1x25
crunches 1x25
dips 1x25

I have kickboxing tonight so before i will go for a 2km run then i will have my lesson, i never know what i will be doing in a lesson it has to do with how the teacher feels so one lesson you could have really stuffed legs or arms or abs. and the rest is just sparring and or pad work. i will post what i can remember from tonight workout after.

Just got back from kickboxing.
2km run 9:51minutes to get warmed up
started the lesson with 20 push ups and 20 sit ups
we did laps it is about 20 meter long i did 17 in 60seconds
knees to the chest for 20 seconds did 25 jumps
heels to the rump 20 seconds did 26
wide squats 35
narrow squats 35
ab work
60 crunches
20 in and outs
30 side crunches each side
Pad work
3, 1 minute rounds kicks punches everything
3, 1 minute rounds just kicks
3,1 minute punches and knees
sparring
2, 3 minute rounds lesson was running short s
stretched out end of lesson

Wednesday is my day off for my morning run so i get a little sleep in lol.
7:00am morning workout
Push ups 1x25
sit ups 1x50
squats 1x25
dips 1x25
I plan to up everything by 25reps starting Monday
4:30pm weight lifting
squat 2x6 1x10 50kg
military press 2x5 1x10 30kg
rows 2x5 1x10 30kg
chest fly's 2x10 7kg each dumbbell
wide pull ups 2x5
chin ups 1x5
kettle bell swings 1x25 10kg
crunches 2x25
in outs 1x25
Sprint work 6:55pm
1 warm up 20meters
10x20meters 41.2seconds average is about 4.1seconds
Easy jog to cool down
500meters 2:30minutes

6:45am Body weight workout

6:40pm kickboxing run
2km run 9:50minutes
3 rounds 3minutes skipping
pad drills 6 rounds 3minutes
5rounds 2minutes sparring
stretch to cool down end of night
weights tomorrow Yea

I stayed up late to watch kickboxing fights on tv. so i didnt get up early enough for my morning run.
4:00pm weights
Squats 2x7 1x10 50kg
bench press 2x6 1x10 50kg
dead lift 1x5 60kg
curls 2x10 15kg
military press 1x10 15kg
crunches 2x50
7:40pm
skipping 5minutes

There is a long sparring session on Saturday at 10am so i am going to run to the gym which is about 4km then spar for as many rounds as i can. I will write on here tomorrow after the sparring to let you guys who read my log how i went.

Sparring went well i went 15 rounds it was awesome. today i jumped on the bench after a quick 2km jog 9:40minutes and thought i would try a max rep. .........65kg once yea baby almost ten kilo's over my body weight so happy i remember like 15weeks ago i couldn't even do 50kg once. next month i will try 70kg.
