I affirm that I am a healthy individual and I acknowledge I have been told to seek the
advice of your healthcare provider BEFORE using this or any other supplement.
I will be doing a single entry. My main reason is that I will have minor surgery and
have been told to not exercise - even running - for two (2) full weeks after, to allow
the dissolvable as well as external stitches to heal.
#1 A paragraph about you, your training, experience, expectations from this workout /
month, anything you want to say about you.
I am 47 years old and have been training since I was 13. I originally saw Arnold on TV
with the debut of "Pumping Iron" when I was around 9 and the image of him and
then Lou Ferrigno in "The Incredible Hulk" left a lasting impression on me.
I've been to a couple of Weider's Training Camps, where I've trained with the stars (Cory Everson, Bill Pearl, Lenda Murray, Bob Paris, Jim Quinn, Bev Francis, Shawn Ray, Berry DeMey). I tried this routine first to get a feel of what weight I should use before
actually doing it for the contest. Super pump! Can't wait to try it with No-Beta. That
stuff has the most pump of any NO product I've ever tried!
#2 A statement about Triceps ? your current goals ? your triceps deficits anything
related Since triceps are the larger of the upper muscle, approximately 3/5, more size is attainable by concentrating more on that muscle than the Biceps. My current goal is to build them back to where I was during my "peak" - near 17 inches, flexed. I
think that the lateral head is extremely hard to over-develop. In fact, IMO, Kevin
Levrone had the best/largest lateral head I've ever seen - freaky.
#3 A statement about your first workout and when it?s going to be.
I plan on doing my first workout this weekend. As I stated before, I did a first, intro
session using this routine to guage where I should keep the weights. the 2.5 peak
contraction definitely makes a difference. Workout to begin ain a few minutes on March 7, 2010.
#4 A statement about the workout itself particularly about the techniques to be used.
As I stated here as well as posts on bb.com. This is a great routine. I personally
feel the difference between a V-bar cable pushdown and one with a rope (with a twist) --
it affects the lateral head more because you are pushing out more. The [decline] Lying
Triceps Cable Extension is an excellent choice because it keeps continuous stress on
the triceps, especially the long head. I add the decline, specifically for that added
benefit. Another way to add keeping continuous tension is to push out, and not direct
overhead, where overhead ends the same as a flat bench. In that case, the weight is
not support by muscle, but the bones; however, that does allow blood to flush back
into the area. But we want maximum pump and pain, don't we?? The concept of
three trisets of PC/FRM sets is quite sound and I've used this pattern for virtually all
other bodyparts and have had great success alternating short periods of these with
regular heavy sets.
