Day 1 is going good so far.
Breakfast - protein shake, coffee
snack = greek yogurt
lunch = talipia, yam
snack = protein shake
dinner = grilled chicken breast, salad
Workout: Lower body and abs

Got lots of good sleep last night. It's beautiful in NC today so I think me and the hubby will be hitting up a run.
I finally figured out how to post pics to the thread so I'll be taking care of that this afternoon.

Trying not to weigh everyday is a big deal for me. I hate being addicted to the scale!
Anyway, here's the break down so far today.
Breakfast: Strawberry banana protein shake, coffee
snack: cottage cheese and apple
lunch: grilled chicken breast and brown rice
snack: protein shake
dinner: stir fry and salad

Fat: 22.3%
Carbs: 40.8%
Prot: 36.8%

Workout: Run 4 miles, walked 1 mile at lunch

Should be a beautiful day to get out....70 and sunny! Finally the NC weather is changing. Starting to feel like spring.

Weighed this am...b.c I'm a scale addict....unofficial weigh in 156.6!!! Woo hoo. Granted I was in my TOM this weekend so my weight was up...but this is still down from my pre-TOM weight...I Know TMI.

Dinner: fish, veggies, sugar free chocolate pudding
Workout: Back, Biceps, abs....cardio

It felt like I ate so much more today then the calories show.

Weighed this am...b.c I'm a scale addict....unofficial weigh in 156.6!!! Woo hoo. Granted I was in my TOM this weekend so my weight was up...but this is still down from my pre-TOM weight...I Know TMI.

Scale is still moving down....155.5 today. Woo hoo! So excited. Granted I still count Monday's as my official weigh days so we will see.
Yesterday was good...ran some intervals with a friend on the treadmill (blah) and did back/biceps with some pushups and crunchs added in.
Breakfast: protein shake
snack: cottage cheese
Lunch: (met a friend) Chickfila grilled chicken sandwich and diet lemonade.
snack: yogurt
dinner: dirty rice (brown rice and turkey sausage), veggies
Workout: no run today...rain rain rain :(

Thanks. Mood is good. I have noticed that going to bed at the usual time is not sufficient. I need more sleep with all the exercise. When I'm hungry, I get cranky....but that's normal haha.
How are you? Making some progress? Are you keeping a log?

Glad to hear it. I know dieting can make it tough to focus mentally. Yeah, I'm keeping a log, but need to keep up with it. I tweeked my back in the gym last night. I also have some tendonitis going on in my right elbow, I'm guessing as a result of lifting heavier. Other than that everythings ok.

So Fridays are normally my cheat day b.c well....it's biscuit FRIDAY!!
My employeer provide breakfast biscuits from Bojangles every Friday, so it's easy to pick this day as a cheat day. :)
With that said, I'm still eating my healthy snacks and lunch. Tonight my hubby is treating me to dinner and a movie as well. I'll try to be good but I can't make any promises.
Breakfast: chicken biscuit (YUMMY!!)

lunch: tilapia and pasta
snack: protein shake
dinner:?????
Workout: chest and tricep

Weight update....down to 155!! Woo hoo. Ok so I ran a marathon November 1, 2009. My race day weight was 152...pre-race was 148. I was carb loading the week of the race hence the increase in weight. So I'm super excited that I'm getting close to race day weight.
I hope you all are doing well, TGIF!

Ran 7 miles this morning with the greatest bunch of running partners. They keep me motivated.
I won't bore you with the details of the diet today but here is the analysis.
Calories: 1740
Fat:42.3
Prot: 20.2%
Carb: 37.5%
High in fat today.
Burn meter: 2602....lots of running and some yard work.
