I'd enter the Double T Sports part of this competition but the part stating "Rules can be modified and the OBF and Double T Sports can withdraw from the contest at any time" is pretty lame.

Also, what if all the users that use the Double T Sports product, doesn't place in the top 3/5, does that mean there's no winner?

imho i dont think DT is there to screw anyone, they however wanna make sure that X people do make progressive body changes.

i wouldnt wanna give $500 dollars for someone who doesn't deserve it. putting that void in their makes sure they get their monies worth. its a good strategy for any company. People who wanna lose weight, this gives them the incentive to work harder, as well as DT promote people using their products with effective results , ì lost XX lbs in 16 weeks on double T`

i just wished DT let more people know about their promo sooner, this really limits the amount of international people who could have went for this promo.

Ohhh gaad everything tastes better deepfried...
A typical night of munchies for me used to be a little bit of everything - chocolate, salty chips, chewie candies, (diet) cola, pita&hummus and ritz peanut butter sandwiches, and other things like mozza sticks and beef taquitos and pizza... I had/have some terrible binge eating tendancies and I really love everything that's bad for me... lol. It's hard to break.

FYI: Target has a natty PB w/ dark chocalate. They also have a bunch of other flavors as well. It's definitley a great option for those that like to have PB sandwichs pre-workout.

Finally got my starting pics posted, actually got that first week water weight drop and am already 6lbs lighter than I was last Friday. Not really any progress to speak of, but at least I have gotten that out of the way and can get to work.

i eat peanut butter all day every day

1 tb with my morning shake
1 tb with my egg whites
1 tb with my tuna straight from the can

on my other three meal is ether flaxseed oil or fish oil

You and me both! It took a long time for me to break free of most of those cravings, too....but now it's not *as* bad. Probably because i don't keep those things around. If there were a box of frozen taquitos in my house, I'd be chewing on a frozen one while the others cooked. LOL! And the 'oven fried' chicken does not taste anything like the real thing. It only makes me sad.

Dude, you need to get it looked at. You may be able just to brace it and get it feeling fine in no time. If it's broken and you make it worse you'll be down and out for sure. If you can move it around well enough it's probably just badly bruised. Better be safe than sorry because you HAVE to see this through to the end. :)

Your motivation is awesome, btw


On another note, I am very glad at this moment that I'm not a huge PB fan because that dark chocolate pb up there would be a big problem. LOL

i have roughly 500-800 calories a day from nuts (not cutting yet)

i dont like it or at least the kind i tried. i bouth a garlic one a while ago and the whole thing went into the trash

Not all of them are good. I'm a big fan of Sabre Spicy Red Pepper variety. Garlic can be a bit much with hummus, I've always thought. The sweet red pepper hummus, to me, doesn't taste good at all. But the spicy...oh yeah...that's the stuff!

It's kinda pricey so I don't get it all that much. New kicks are far more important. :D

I havent noticed anything with my bodyspace recently (though right now I'm at work and avoiding going to any place that has pictures of me partially naked), but whenever I hit reply and then have to log in, or something similar, I get this:

"Invalid Thread specified. If you followed a valid link, please notify the administrator"

Flawlessly, all day, and maybe yesterday too...
Not at serious as being unable to modify your own bodyspace, but still an annoying quirk being dealt with...

Rep points are, as you noticed, the red or green bar below the avatars. Green is good, red is bad and they represent ones idea of your reputation.

If you are inspiring, working hard, noticed for good qualities you will get repped with approvals, if you are the opposite you will be repped with disapprovals.

If you want to rep someone else, click on the balancing scale (under the green and or red bars - its red on the left side of scale and green on right side of scale) and click approve or disapprove and leave a note as to why you are repping that person so the person you rep can read your reason for approval or disapproval. A typical night of munchies for me used to be a little bit of everything - chocolate, salty chips, chewie candies, (diet) cola, pita&hummus and ritz peanut butter sandwiches, and other things like mozza sticks and beef taquitos and pizza... I had/have some terrible binge eating tendancies and I really love everything that's bad for me... lol. It's hard to break.

Is anyone else having issues with their bodyspace? I am logged in and I can edit my stats but I cannot edit my progress pics or upload anything new. Whenever I try it kicks me back out so I am looking at my profile like a visitor...

Could be I am just having a blonde moment :p but it has been that way since the 10th.

I havent noticed anything with my bodyspace recently (though right now I'm at work and avoiding going to any place that has pictures of me partially naked), but whenever I hit reply and then have to log in, or something similar, I get this:

"Invalid Thread specified. If you followed a valid link, please notify the administrator"

Flawlessly, all day, and maybe yesterday too...
Not at serious as being unable to modify your own bodyspace, but still an annoying quirk being dealt with...

I had that happen tons of times to me last year....It could be that bb.com is editing stuff temporarily, but when it happened to me, I was able to log in and make changes to my page, if I used a different internet connector like- I was on AOL, so I used IE instead to connect to bb.com, or firefox, or safari was a good one (never had issues with safari), etc... Hope this helps, its VERY aggravating to be unable to log in as a member, lol.

I'm reallllllllllyyyyy milking the "A calorie is a calorie" idea for all its worth. I mean, if I can eat total crap like that stuff, and still meet my macros (roughly), and stay in my calorie range, and STILL lose weight... I mean, it's hard to fault the idea eh?

Dude, you need to get it looked at. You may be able just to brace it and get it feeling fine in no time. If it's broken and you make it worse you'll be down and out for sure. If you can move it around well enough it's probably just badly bruised. Better be safe than sorry because you HAVE to see this through to the end. :)

On another note, I am very glad at this moment that I'm not a huge PB fan because that dark chocolate pb up there would be a big problem. LOL

Thanks I have been motivating alot this year already so I figured it was time I start putting some of my advice to work LOL. I have a few girls around here above 250 lbs that are needing help and motivation and are doing a local transformation contest and I have been helping them out and keeping them motivated. One of them told me she never makes it past her 3rd week and now she is on her 5th week and very proud of her for sticking with it.

I did have my hand checked out today by the nurse at work and I was told that it is just badly bruised but take it easy this weekend put ice on it and come back and see them monday and if it isnt any better we would get an xray just to make sure. I can move it pretty good but just cant tightly grip or even turn my key in the ignition, lol I have to wedge the key between my index and middle finger. The firefighter challenge that I did wasnt bad at all. There was other firefighters laying on the ground, some going to medical and a few of us that made it thought it was awesome and ready to go again, but the next day the hurt started lol.
The Challenge was walk up and down 10 flights of stairs with 2 inch rolled up hose on shoulder,

then move a railroad tie 1- 1 1/2 feet beating it with a sledghammer (thats what happened to hand) about 40 hits,

then run up stairs and pull up a rope that had a 2 inch hose attatch for weight had to pull up hand over hand and let down the same.

go down stair and grab a 175 lb dummy and drag it 60 feet

run back 60 feet grab a charged hose line and drag it 60 feet spray some water and ut it down

run over and lift a ladder off some pegs and put it on groun and then lift it back up.

Before I was too inconsistent with my dieting, I could never figure out how many calories I should be at, I changed up everything weekly if not more frequently,I was training TOO HARD, plus major binge eating problems, and I was dealing with a lot of depression and similar things the past couple years, but I'm pretty sure I finally got this.

Sorry to hear you are not feeling motivated. That happens though...you just gotta push through it. Good job on going for that jog, even though you aren't feeling it! Sometimes that is what it is all about...just going for it even though you don't feel like it! :)

is anyone else still bulkin/comping for the beginning of this? personally i cant cut for 3 straight months so gonna do 1 month bulk when my sponsored supps come, and then cut.. hope works out, i'm just hooked on gainin strength n a lil size right now, but i know when it starts gettin warmer ill be really motivated to drop the pudge :o

well 1) i kinda forgot bout pics n i finally have some free time and just happened to be after a giant steak/pepper/onion fajita... surprisingly good macros since its just a low carb wrap, 1/2 pepper, 1/4 onion, 4-6 oz beef/chicken, n 1 tbsp Greek Yogurt (0 fat n more protein) instead of sour cream, n low fat cheese

but yeaa love to eat and extending the bulk a little more works for me haha

lol maybe so. Motivated or not, I will keep going. The only thing is that I'm lacking the usual intensity. I havn't even forced myself up for the jog yet...but here I go lol. Good luck. Hope you find your motivation.

I've lost 6 pounds so far since the pictures I took a few days ago. Last night went to the Casino for the all you could eat buffet, mounded my plate with shrimp, scallops, prime rib, salmon and chicken.

Get home...notice I started feeling a little weird....20 mins later I'm in the bathroom dying from food poison.

Weigh myself few mins ago and I'm down 10 pounds since picture..

Rough diet strat...

OMGosh, food poison is terrible to have for sure!!!

Your body may end up replenishing itself with water, so you might see that water weight make a comeback on your scale. Its good to know this NOW so you are not discouraged when it happens. So plan for it.

If you get away with it, then whew! You got lucky.

According to my Omron body fat analyzer, my bodyfat is down to 15.2% and my weight has been relatively stable at around the 195-197 range since starting dieting around 2 months ago. So I'm very happy with the way things have been going and I hope this trend continues through out this contest. Hope everyone else has been having a good start to this contest and best of luck, just keep pushing no matter what.

Don't worry about it. when i started seriously dieting 6 weeks ago, i lost 5lbs in 5 days. Most is water. Promise.

I'll be happy with 1lb a week at this point.

BTW, don't weigh yourself daily. that is one of the worst things you can do. Make it weekly at the same time and same day every week...and if you cheated the night before your weigh in day, don't bother either. You'll most likely be up because of water.

Today was a great day in the gym. I keep it short and intense. Put on the IPOD and I hit it Super Sets with only 1 min rest between and no rest between stations. I am currently on dumbells strictly this week except for legs and triceps.

I haven't been doing any cardio I think I might had 2 days on Tues/Thursday next week. Since I take minimal rest between sets and exercises I am usually gased by the end of my workout anyway.

I really need to finish this thing so I don't want to burn myself out by spending too much time in the gym. I want my body to recover so I can go hard for each lifting session and keep increasing the lifts each workout.

The last few times I went down this road I really stressed myself out trying to track all the marcos, lifts, supps and over analyzing everything.

I am taking the Wavelength approach:

Lift Heavy - 3x a week
Eat 1 gram of protein per lb. of LBM
Eat less than I burn - I am keeping it pretty clean but if I want to eat something I eat it and just keep under my calories for the day. I am currently shooting for a minimum 750 calorie deficent up to 1500 on non-workout days.

Hope everyone else had a good workout!

thanks and don't know about the body fat currently. But 8 weeks ago when they did the pinch test for me, I was at 29%... Maybe less now. I will know again in less than 4 weeks!

Well, I guess the good news about hating your before pics is that it will be good motivation to work your butt off. But yeah, I hate my before pics. I've got some decent muscle, I know, but there's a pretty thick layer of fat over the top of them. I have started to see my quads a little, though, so I am encouraged by that.

I agree... before pictures are great motivation! To be honest, I didnt even realize I was that big until I took my pictures. I am definitely ready to have my body back and be in shape again. Never again will I be this big! Good luck to you!

Last contest i started at 188 or so..... half way through the contest i had only dropped a pound or 2.... BUT i was leaning out losing inches and i could tell i had lost fat....

After that i still ended up winning!!!

So, measure yourself by the way your clothes fit and a tape measure cuz the scale will lie to you!! Keep your work ethic up and your diet on point 100% of the time and you'll have no choice but to lose that fat!

There are a lot of exercises you may be able to do right on the couch or in bed that will keep you moving but will also NOT overwhelm you while you rest, use your imagination.

Drink 1/2 your body weight in ounces of water (since you should anyway and because you are sick) and dont cheat while you are sick/recovering. You can get thru this with no regrets or set backs!
Thanks! I've been doing a little bit more today than yesterday which is good. I plan on hitting it hardcore tomorrow though. Even though I am not 100% I still wanna get started for real. I am sure I will be able to handle it.

That sucks :( a few days shouldnt be too terrible tho. I'm sort of on the same boat, my thesis is due on the 29th of march, so there will be no going to the gym for me until after its handed in. I'm going to have to rely on diet and biking to and from school.

Haha, they aren't awful but the camera has a wonderful way of bringing out every dimple! Oh my. And you know you're no fatty! We all carry our weight in different ways. We also all have a common goal of getting fit and healthy... (and to look smoking hot in a bikini this summer!) .. So at the end of the summer we'll go to the beach and celebrate! :)

One week of workouts and cardio in the books. Diet has been spot on, only had a few cravings for fast food and nachos but other than that its been relatively easy. Cardio all five days ftw :D

BTW, don't weigh yourself daily. that is one of the worst things you can do. Make it weekly at the same time and same day every week....

You know what, you and I are alike there. I cant tell you how many years I went to bed at night thinkin..."when I wake up in the morning I will not be a smoker anymore." Just to wake up and have a mornin cig. It sucked. I was like, where was my confidence this morning that I had last night? I need it back, lol. Come back to me!

But you know what- my day came cause I never gave up. I have not smoked for 4 years now. I started when I was in 6th grade! I figure, If I can kick that addiction, I can kick the lack of proper diet and lack of exercise addictions as well... AND YOU CAN TOO!

Keep reminding yourself of what takes priority in your life and give it all ya got guy.

Yes. the green bar. I just remembered- I think you need to have so many posts or some other rule before you can get points. Ah well. And good attitude. Woke up in time, got everything ready, stepped outside..was soaking wet within 5 seconds. Turn right back around. This rain outside is not playing it was rainy and windy as hell

Just weighed my self this morning and Im 211.8 Monday I was 216.8 that equals 5 pounds in 5 days woot woot I cant wait till my official weight in Monday to really track how my total weight loss is this week!

Same. I had exams for the last two weeks so last two weeks have been really bad for me in terms of working out. But I'm done with exams for a while so it's time to go hard starting monday.

Also going out and buying a scale today. Don't trust the ones that my gym has. It's like a 10 yr old doctor office type scale. Don't think it's 100% accurate

The flu the is the WORST to have while trying to stick to any program, make sure your taking in calories, and drinking plenty of fluids. Get well and get back at it in a week!

Here is my update for the first week:

I lost 10lbs going from 232 to 222lbs. Water weight is gone and now it's time to burn the fat! I haven't slipped up on diet and making sure to lift and get my cardio in. I'm starting the contest out strong and will keep going til the end.

I hope everyone who is sick feels better soon! Everyone else...get in the gym! :)

It was a bit of a rough week, but I ended up being down about a pound and a half from a week ago. I'm not sure how, but I'll take it! My workout have been getting better. Today's was the toughest yet, but awesome.

Oh yikes. That was me just a few weeks ago. I spent a lot of time with my good friends Dayquil and Nyquil for a week or so...

Finally! I meant to do it earlier this week but kept forgetting to post at night. Starting weight as of this morning was 259 lbs w/43 in waist. Taking all my measurements and logging food on fitday and livestrong for a few days, not sure what I like better so I'll use both to figure it out. Would like to like to end up around 225lb at the end of this thing w/significantly lower bodyfat!

It seems like everything has been conspiring against me when I want to get to the gym.

Thursday I was dressed and ready to go, just wanted to upload my music to my iPhone (for the first time). It kept taking forever, for 45 minutes, I sat there saying "5 more minutes, if it's not done yet I'm going without music!" until it was too late to go.

Then Friday, I actually made it to the mall (gym is in the basement), but wanted to buy skates first. They were busy, and once I finally decided on a pair, they said 15-20 min to sharpen them, so I shopped around, came back.. they'd forgotten! So I had to wait another 20 min, and you guessed it.. by the time they were done, it was too late to go.

Now today, I had big plans to go to the gym after my son's nap and leave him in the child-minding area. I just checked the schedule to make sure they'd be open, and as luck would have it, the gym is open.. but the child-minding area is only open in the mornings on Saturday! And even worse, not even open at all on Sundays. Bleh!

On the plus side, a) my eating has been great and I've lost 2 lbs, and b) I can go skating on weekday afternoons now, fun cardio!!!

Think maybe EC for first 4-6 weeks of my cut, take a 2 week stim break, and finish with Cuts, or use cuts first and finish with EC?

luckily my son is in full-time daycare, and i have a pretty good schedule at school this semester, lots of time to go to the gym providing I actually MAKE it there when I say I will. Unfortunately, this week seems to be a bit of a scramble to get there and do my workout in time to pick him up! I'm chalking last week up to 50% bad luck and 50% bad time management, lol.

This week will be better, since at least now I seem to have worked the kinks out.

No offense, but the iPhone problem and the gym thing seem like excuses. I'm not here to comfort you, Im here to tell you that you could've gone and you found excuses not to go.

After 10 mins I would've left my iphone and gone to the gym with no music. Then when you went to the mall you were prepared to hit the gym but instead found something else to do.

Come on, you can do this! Don't make excuses, make results!

It I was in that case, I use cuts first.

But if were me, I might not use any at all. See how well you can do with just conditioning - and then start up one of them when/if you need to

Thank goodness, we can exercise at home no matter if the day gets in our way or not. There have been plenty of times (car breaks down, unexpected company, etc) that kept me from getting to my desination point and had to just walk laps around my own house (not neighborhood, but my actual literal house lol) get on the floor with my hand weights and lift my legs and my arms and whatever to get at least 1 hr exercise in for the day.

so far so good on 3 days with no food just protein shakes. cant wait to weigh in and take pics in a week. i feel great i have only been drinking water as well even with my shakes. no problems yet except for a slight headache here and there. the protein shakes seem to be keeping me full feeling or the ec stack not sure lol. still waiting for my order of double t product says it will be here on the 16th weather permitting.

Been keeping my weight steady for now as I'm waiting for a diet program. I'm deloading this week as well because I have been feeling really tired and lifting about 75% of maximum lately. I was on Layne Norton's 5 day a week program, it gets exhausting after a while!

GO binge the night before diet starts = ur up 4-5 lbs the next morning.
Start heavy diet that day and by end of week u lose that 4-5 lbs plus 5+ lbs of water weight/fat

Not discrediting him, I just dont want other people to feel discouraged because they didn't see 11 lb weight losses.

Hardly, but yes! My cals digested are a lot lower then the values I get from fitday, so I barely get in maybe 2400 cals a day.

I have been dieting for about 6 weeks now. I did take one week off dieting prior to the start of this contest cause I hurt my back and was laid up. Anyway, yes there is lots of water weight, but still I did damn good this week.

I am doing this because of the major storm, especially in the East. Some people have lost power and they do not know when it will be back.

I suggest you double check the picture thread to make sure your name is bold. If you have submitted pictures, and your name is not bold, that means they were not accepted, or I missed them.

The only reason, so far, that I have deleted pictures is because the paper, computer screen, etc was not in all your pictures. If you read the RULES, this is a requirement.

I don't want anyone complaining to me that I deleted their pictures. I deleted them because you did not read the rules.

The PICTURE THREAD will be closed at midnight Sunday and anyone who has not submitted the required pictures will not be in the contest. NO EXCEPTIONS!

Fhewww... just got my pictures up and come to find out theirs a storm that extended the deadline... I just got a workout running from one side of the house to the other trying to get my wireless to work. Upload pics... re create my PB acct and post them... Well. any and all results are now on me. No excuses... what I end up with at the end of this competition is purely what I put into it. Good luck to everyone!!

So here I go, about to make an @ss out of myself here on the thread..

I decided to try out Eviscerate for the first time tonight. After applying it I was walking to the bathroom to wash my hands and my eye started to itch(darn allergies starting) And, well, you can guess what happened next! OH MY!! the PAIN! I flushed out my eye for a good 5 minutes and now have a cold washcloth and ice on it to try and numb the burning. Easily the most excruciating pain I've ever been in!! My eye won't open at this point, maybe tomorrow!

On the bright side, I barely notice all the burning on my thighs.

I'm going down to visit my great grandparents who are getting older and I haven't seen in a while, and I'm taking it as more then just a physical vacation. It's also a chance for me to get away from all the nonsense I've had to deal with lately and just give myself a nice break to recouperate and recover. Just nice to get away yknow?

haha that's insane!! You gotta love that your giving us all an update even though your lookin like popeye! I bet your gonna be extra careful next time huh?!? Your a nut! In all seriousness though I really do hope you can see and the pain goes away sometime soon!

Thats simply amazing man, I have seen you post for quite a while. Your going to kill the competition, I remember you posting some lifts and being blown away. I have never really lifted and am straight up weak. Maybe in a couple of years I will catch up to you, but everyone has got to start somewhere.

Happy weekend!!

I've decided not to step on the scale for a while...I find that it can be a deterrant .... so I will use clothes, the mirror and maybe a tape measure....but that again will be later on. Im excited at the idea of stepping on the scale after some time and seeing a number I havent seen in a while :)

Sounds like a lot of you are doing awesome so far! -11 lbs! Wholly cow!

If anyone wants an idea for an AMAZING pre or post workout smoothie use mine :)

1-1.5 scoops of Your favorite Vanilla like whey protein
1/2 cup of frozen strawberries
1/2 medium banana
4-6 ounces of Skim Milk or whatever milk
Blend it with 4-5 big cubes of ice

300 Calories, takes me 15 mins to drink slowly, and taste amazing!

Good luck everybody. Whats your plan of attack diet wise?

I've been slowly cutting since the beginning of the year, so I'm not changing anything up dramatically. I'm aiming for 1,800 calories per day, including 150 grams of protein and 25 grams of fiber.

Today was cardio...I had a nice 30 minute run and my slow, shuffling pace.

Got in some great training yesterday. Scale is moving down, even as my diet is still out of whack from moving. Must do better. Planning to head back to the gym tonight.

Haha That is the exact 'recipe' I use, but use almond milk instead :)
