Once a month??? lol... I've been meaning to, I just can't be bothered... my core gets worked really well from most of my other exercises.
haha, awesome. I think i'm going to go to once a week from now on. I just don't see the benefit too working them more than that.
btw, you're getting close to your surgery. We're not going to see you for a couple of days eh?...but i bet your recovery will be quick because of the shape you're in. I think that will be a huge help.

Things have definitely been hit n' miss over the last two weeks while we had company over and will probably continue for the next 10 days until company leaves. I've been getting some workouts and some cardio in, it's just the diet that's been taking the biggest hit.

Another one of my new favorite recipes. The cake portion was taken from one of the recipe threads and I added chocolate pudding b.c I found it a little dry. It came out amazing!
Chocolate Lava Cake
.5 scoop chocolate whey
1 tablespoon cocoa powder
1/4 tsp baking powder
3 tablespoons egg white
1 tablespoon apple sauce
Combine ingredients and mix until smooth. Pour into a cup and microwave for 1 min. Will come out like a little cake. Remove from mug and slice in 2 or 3.
Take fat free/low sugar chocolate pudding and put a little on top of each cake.

I don't know if these chicken legs can lift any kind of weight that would justify saying they have been hammered ;). But I am slowly dinking away at them! I certainly will...
I'm gonna use an entire scoop of protein and a whole egg, and maybe throw in something else if I need to change the consistency... don't have apple sauce so i'm gonna try a tsp of olive oil instead i think... Going to test it post-workout in place of my protein shake (it's hard for me to be experimental sometimes due to small calorie intake lol)

LOL considering it is 4 weeks longer this year than it has in the past, be thankful for that! :D
2 more weeks of dieting and training hard wouldn't hurt ;)
You'll only be healthier and you'll have a chance to WIN!
Did i mention more skinny and more toned? or more muscular and irresistible at the beach for the entire summer.
Another option is to give people the option to diet 2 weeks longer and post pictures 2 weeks after OR just post pictures on the original end date. That way for people who are a bit more motivated have a greater chance and for the people that believe are ready and think they have a chance to place by the original end date can also post then.

Yes, those are great benefits of working out. So does that mean that after the contest is over you are going to stop working out? I'm in this for life. There will be other contests.
Anyways if there is a poll I vote for no extension.

I have a question for everyone, how often does everyone work their abs? I'm curious because a lot of training programs will call for 2 days or more a week and i don't think that's really necessary.
I do crunchies about 3 times a week, does that count? If I am sore, I do a few just to get them in.

I'm all for longer contests. But in this case I say the rules were already set and some people plan their entire plan of attack for when to peak based on a 16 week program.
If the contest were extended I would probably just find more opportunity to cheat on my diet and just procrastinate the serious insane workouts.
**I think the extra 4 weeks was a great idea/ 12 weeks was over too quick**

I went to bed/woke up with a giant headache. I'm wondering if it's from the less than 30 g carbs yesterday. Seems awfully quick though, I just started this keto thing. Maybe it's just something blooming. Last night I did a quick lower body workout and did Week 5 day 1 of the Couch-2-5k program. I massively skipped ahead because I haven't been able to get in running in a couple of weeks. I was pleasantly surprised. The last 5 minute stint I had to make 3.5 minutes because I ran out of steam. I'm proud of myself though.
I'm still really not sure how to consume 150g of fat a day. I don't know if I will be able to do this keto diet exactly as written. Might have to add in more carbs and less fat and hopefully still get the benefits.

I'm not a keto expert, but from what I understand, they are pretty inflexible about the min carb part. You could prob get away with adding more calories from protein, but I think it would not be a keto diet if you substitute fat for carbs.
FrmrHoss
05-19-2010, 12:54 PM
Oh, also to answer your question - yes. If you have not been doing low carb before, going to 30g of carbs will most def give you headaches, made you feel tired and groggy for 4-5 days, maybe even a week, before your body gets used to it.

On keto I had the hardest headaches in my life for at least a week. But I studied the diet well and I knew what the possibilities were to side effects. What you are experiencing are withdraws, its a good thing-believe it or not.
Use good fats. Add coconut oil to as much as you can. I buy the Spectrum Organics kind with no taste no scent and I love it. Use it on as much as you can even in iced smoothies. Use olive oils too. Eat whipping creams, cool whip is a great ice cream substitute. Only thing is I hate to see a person on a non organic keto diet and who can afford one that is organic?
It takes at least 2-3 days for your body to switch from using foods as fuel to using your own body fat as fuel. You will know when this change takes place when using the ketosticks. Everytime you consume too many carbs for your bodys personal preference, the ketosticks will show you that you have exited the keto and are back to using food as fuel again. It takes a lil practice but if you are careful and creative you can do it. Once your ketosticks help you understand what it takes to stay in or out of keto, you wont need the sticks anymore. Cut the sticks in 1/2 to save dollars and cents.
I'm not a keto expert, but from what I understand, they are pretty inflexible about the min carb part. You could prob get away with adding more calories from protein, but I think it would not be a keto diet if you substitute fat for carbs.

Yes, I think that's correct: July 3rd
but you have the option of taking them sooner on 6/23
the first date that you can actually post them is on 6/26
My understanding is, you have the option of finishing up by taking your final pics with a newspaper anytime between 6/23-7/3.
This may/may not be accurate

Thanks for the info, guys. I already have such a problem with headaches that I'm thinking this might not be the dieting style for me. Especially a cyclic keto, I'm guessing I would get headaches every time I switched back to the keto diet. Perhaps I will switch to a diet consisting of whole grains...in moderation.
Most of the time people start a new diet they stop drinking soda, tea, coffee or whatever else they may have been getting a large dose of caffeine from. So, have you had any yesterday or today? Just a thought. :)
Good thought, but no...I've been on a diet this whole contest. I don't drink much of any of those things, anyway. Maybe a tea every couple of days but I mostly try to shy away from too much caffeine.

Well thing is once you deplete your body of that need for a certain number of carbs on a daily basis your stamina will improve- it wont be yo-yo like forever. BUT only YOU know what you should do or not do. I do my own thing, I am not following a fad diet of any sorts. Listen to what your bod says and you will be ok.
Yes yes I know I am losing slowly these last 10 weeks at only 13 pounds lost, but I am losing.
So I am a winner too "sticks tongue out!"

Well the way History in Effect put it I will forever remember this contest ends right on time for a HUGE carb up on the 4th. I never thought of that, but now it's marked on my calendar.
I will hit up The Gators Dockside and have some beers and a Gator Tail Burger with extra hot sauce and a salad with chunky bleu cheese dressing then run over to my cousin Joys house and ask her to have a Lemon Zest cake with glazed icing ready for me to pick up!
Oh boy.

Hey isnt there an option for mobile bb.com?
Alright so I'm coming to the conclusion that my training needs to be revamped. Instead of 5 high volume days, I wanna do 3 higher intensity days with just compound movements. This will leave me with way more energy to do cardio which I think could make a difference.

do what you gotta do man, its all about finding that nich that will make you want to workout. I do 3 day splits and dont think I would have the energy to go do weights 5x a week.

Yeah it gets rough. By the time I'm done lifting I don't wanna do any cardio. I feel like 3 great lifting days would give better results than 5 average ones

Would probably help a lot. I've been doing 5/3/1 this whole comp and I was under the impression it wouldn't be enough volume to lose weight but its worked great! The military press day is almost like another rest day really, not nearly as taxing as the other big lifts.
That being said, I have tons of energy to do cardio :D

Keto (CKD). Carb ups are great for replenishing your glycogen stores if they've been completely depleted which is how the CKD works.

Yeah, carb ups/refeeds are fine for people that have been in prolonged deficits but if memory serves me correctly, she already has a cheat meal/cheat day built into her diet on a weekly basis. Also, she's not on a carb depleted diet either, so a specific CARB-UP doesn't have the same kind of benefits that you might have/get on one of those diets.
I agree that free meals are good for your sanity and I have one per week too, but I don't go crazy with them. Just worried it may hamper her progress which, as she has said, has slowed lately.

Wow, I can't even imagine the terror you must have been feeling after that. You know what, tjwoody, this is a contest. While it would be cool to win or place and so on, you know that you're family comes first. He needs you and it's so great to see that you're aware of this fact.
Keep on top of your diet, and get in what you can. Obviously you have a scared and confused little boy who just needs your support. It will get better, and when he's all grown up, he'll understand just how much you love him and how much you were/are willing to sacrifice for him.

There is NO plan for a OBF Cool Down, it was only an idea I threw out there for the mods to think about and suggested tossing in some Black Cats for the incentive to do a OBF Cool Down.

Hoss, as you said I have had a cheat built into my diet, and its called a BBQ ;) Your memory did serve ya correctly.
I dont like meat and some peeps try to get me to increase my protein, so I eat BBQ chicken breast on the weekends as a way to get that increase and I do love the smell. That is my cheat. Nothing big.
My diet is NOT carb deficient by any means.
I took a 5 Foot fall about a month ago that STOPPED my weight training and slowed my cardio way down, which is one reason why the weight loss slowed. I am STILL healing from that fall but my exercise has increased.
So due to the lack of exercise and recent change in my diet I am reconfiguring my meal times and readjusting calorie intake, etc.
Now, my cheat will be a HUGE one on July 4th and I will not be concerned with it as it will not threaten my progress for this challenge. I will cheat and I will move on- like I do every weekend.
TY Hoss for keeping watch.

I totally understand that void you are experiencing. I am unemployed and I exercise about 2 hrs a day as dedication to my fitness. BUT the rest of my time seems wasted once house work is complete. I mean- I could exercise all day long (if I wasnt still injured that is) like they make the Biggest Losers do, but I just dont. Is that a lack of motivation or laziness? I dunno. I dont have kids at home either so Im totally disturbed by this.

Today I did my workout in the AM to spend more time with him every day. I still dont know what hes looking for but he comes first at this point.
I feel bad for neglecting him.....and we explained how things are in life and why he needs to be disciplined sometimes. I saw the warning signs early with grades slipping very bad and we just met with teachers and are talking to someone to set up times he can talk to. Hes really a good kid....I just think almost being 12 is he getting very confused about life.

how long are people working out per day? I feel lazy since I dont work often and cant find things to do around the house.
About 90 mins a day.
4 days a week lifting 3 days a week cardio
On lifting days around 1 hour of lifting with 30 mins of cardio (10 min warmup and 20 min cooldown)
On Cardio days, Abs + 1 hour of cardio

Havent run for a bit....shin is killing me. ran outside other day... brutal.
I used to workout aprox 1 hr 15 mins on average per day...4 days lifting. On cardio only days another 2-3 times per week...with stretching and maybe some abs like another hour. With trying to do these morning workouts I will be trying to keep it to 1 hr max.

OMG torture. Seriously, I could super pig out on cake about now. Months of dieting is pretty torturous! I've been saying for a while now I want to become a marathon runner so I can eat whatever I want, lol.
I just got my final grade in my super hard exercise testing class....I GOT AN A-! I'm so freakin' happy. I worked my BUTT off in that class. Tons of research and studying. So happy.
Now, to celebrate, I'm going to do an intense hour and a half of cardio. Woooo...oh yeah and I lost a few fractions of an inch off of some places, pretty happy!
So starting monday I'm switching up the routine. I gotta pull it out for these last few weeks :)

How many hours apart do you guys eat and do you have a certain "cut off" time where you do not eat after a certain hour?
I try to eat about every 3-4 hours. Breakfast being the most important time wise. I try to make sure and eat within 1 hour of waking to get the body burning. I find if I miss breakfast my day is very sluggish.
I have no cutt-off and don't believe in it at all. I think most people do that to just reduce their total calories eaten but I don't find it neccessary. I actually try to make sure and eat a slow digesting protein such as Casein or Cottage Cheese about 30min to 1 hour before bed to keep the metabolim going and to repair from lifting. Eat the muscle if you like!

My morning breakfast is amazing.
Pancake with blueberries topped with peanut butter and marshmallow dip. Of course with healthy macros :)
305g Egg Whites
Tad of Cinnamon
1 packet of splenda
1/4 cup of water
99g Blueberries
20g PB
2 tbsp of Psyllium Husk
*in the vitamix*
Walden Farms Marshmallow Dip
Naturally More PB
Was it just the psyllium husks and eggwhites that made the pancake consistency..? or am I missing something? lol

effffffff lol

OOPS, I forgot to mention 1 Whole Egg. The fat in the egg and the air blended into the egg whites make a fluff. Add the water then the husk. The husk will absorb the water and make a thicker consistency.
1. Spray PAM on a pan
2. Set stove to Medium High heat
3. Pour batter
4. Wait for bubbles to form. Should rise a little bit.
5. Get a plate and slide the baked pancake onto PLATE.
6. Hold PAN with L hand and PLATE with R hand.
7. Slowly FLIP the PLATE with the unbaked side of pancake onto the hot pan.
8. Wait for more rise.
9. Spread the PB and Marshmallow Dip.
10. Scoop of Blueberries
11. EAT AND ENJOY.
12. *Disclaimer* Feels like a cheat meal, but body keeps shedding fat.

out of curiosity u ever figure out the macros?
300g of egg whites ~ 180 cals, 30g protein
100g blueberries ~ 60 cals, 15g carbs
20g PB ~ 120 cals, 10g fat, let's call it 4g/4g pro/carbs
fiber - don't care
So let's say roughly 360 calories, 34g protein, 20g carbs, 10g fat. There's an estimate for ya. Adjust accordingly based on marshmallow dip used.
You guys are lazy :P

You rock and deserve a girl scout cookie! Marshmallow dip is from Walden Farms and is 0 calories. (trace calories, but if you walk around the house, you'll burn it right off)
I'm going to take some pictures of me making it tomorrow and the end product.
BTW. For those carb conscious. Take out the blueberries! WOOHOOOO!
**This is a breakfast for a 2,500 calorie diet**
If you're on a lower calorie diet, just use LESS Egg whites, but incorporate the Whole Egg.

So at the time, I was pretty sure my ankle and knee would feel better by the next morning. I think maybe I didn't pay attention to how I was feeling enough.
My knee is still really tender, and my ankle hurts whenever I try to roll it.
I'm gonna give it till monday, and if it's not better by then, I'll probably go see my doctor to make sure I didn't make it any worse.
Good workout today, motivation is back up for sure

Have you ever considered trying some sort of sleep aid? Not necessarily a sleeping pill, but somethign like Melatonin?
Yes and yes.
Can't say that I have... I still have to try the almond milk and some of those coconut things you mention lol
Ok lol- well you are on such a low cal intake that Coconut oil might not =money. LOL My gosh but you have to experience Almond Milk.
Not sure about gym and my son.....guess I could ask them. I do see some younger kids going..but they look 14+. he was in TKD (karate) for years and he didnt want to do it anymore. Guess its time to see what he wants to do again. hes really not to interested in much atm....besided tv and games.
Yeah if there is an issue with him parents need to step up like you are already doing. Tell him to get back to you about what his activity desires are and if he doesn't respond its all about earning his game time until he does. :(
I had this at Longhorn steakhouse a while back. It was so awesome! Enough for 4 people was crazy!
http://link.photo.pchome.com.tw/s08/cafesea/71/123721604828/
Licking the computer screen proves contagious.
So starting monday I'm switching up the routine. I gotta pull it out for these last few weeks :)
I added 15 extra minutes of cardio. Possibly more as the days pass. Good job, Hangin there. Be creative.
Yup ate every last drop of it all and it was great! Didn't gain 1 pound either!
:)
I dont practice a cut off time, but I did consider it this week. I chose against it for now. I read that we should jump start our mornings by chugging water BEFORE we even get out of bed. I have spaced my meals further apart this week. So I am doing every 3 hrs now.
just came back from my physical. guess im going to live....
:) Congratulations.

I will answer for myself, lol. My daughter called me with an emergency to pick her up from work early.
See about 2 weeks ago her dog, Trixy died suddenly.
Then about 5 days ago her other dog, Cocoa was sick- so Cocoa has been in the hospital on IV fluids and was treated for parasites but we went to visit her today and the Dr gave us bad news. Since a dog typically bounces back to health a day or two later after parasite treatment and Cocoa didn't and is vomiting, etc. we were not prepared for death.
They did xrays and there is an obstruction and I wont go into gross detail but my daughter already paid $300 for the last few days of treatment and is now told Cocoa needs surgery and still no guarantee she will survive. The hospital doesn't do financial aid or payment plans and She cant afford to pay any more money so she had to ask them to put her to sleep. Her BF showed up and we gave him the news and they just cried like they were losing a child. We were gathering our belongings to be with Cocoa as they put her to sleep when...
The Dr returned and said don't tell anyone I am doing this for you two. I will get her into surgery at 8am, if she makes it I will allow you to make payments if she dies there will be no charges. She said the dog has a slight chance of making it and the dog shows he cares for Lacy and Mike, so...
This was quite a surprise! They have a 3rd dog at home that is experiencing emotional detachment from having two dogs away from home, so now he is sleeping a lot and not eating. Man. So I have been at the vet all day with Cocoa.

This week has been really busy for me. Stuck to my new diet well, down to 151 lbs (-20.8 lbs) and waist is at 31.75" (-4").
I've been working my ass off on a new website that I'm almost ready to launch. I will be announcing it very soon. It's a sweepstakes & contest site that will be giving away supplements and more. Bonuses for any OBF contestants that register! :D
I went to bed/woke up with a giant headache. I'm wondering if it's from the less than 30 g carbs yesterday. Seems awfully quick though, I just started this keto thing. Maybe it's just something blooming.
It may be the diet. There are a few things you could try. Go up to 50g of carbs including fiber. Most people can still hit keto just fine at that level. The other option is try a targeted keto diet (TKD). You take in more carbs but focus them around your workout. I was doing TKD with 75-100g of carbs and was still in keto.

But Imma thinkin it was recently cause when I was doin my eyebrows, lol, I held my mirror up to my face and noticed my jaw was showing more definition. It was shocking.

:) morning.....
Thats good news....progress is always progress.
Myself...up 1 lb from last week....its not official weigh i day till tomorrow AM....when I can get a lil more sleep. I am convinced as others said that lack of sleep, stress can mess with the lbs.
Diets been pretty solid this week. Got all my lifts in...cardios been lighter this week as I shift to morning workouts.

I just realized bb.com had them on special (25% off), and I picked them up at the VS for $28. :(
If anyone wants a delicious bar that can be used as a MRP with a solid profile, I'd definitely recommend Zero Impact. PB&J is quite moist as opposed to the other flavors that are very dry.

Ok here is my update for the week. I havent been on at all and I am sorry for that. I am sorry to my body for the hell I put it thru this week also. This week has been busy and no time for myself. Alot of overtime and alot of time working on things for family and everyone else and it isnt going to stop till about monday. I only had time this week for about 2 30 min cardio sesions. Oh yeah lildude that was my workout partner at the beginning of this competietion but disqualified went to the hospital his blood sugar he said was 1200+ and his potassium was 6.5. he is doing better now and out of the hospital but on bed rest. Next week has to be slower for me. I feel like I am burning my candle at both ends.

I was down .8lbs this week, no change on the waist. Brings total for the competition to -10lbs, -1.75" on the waist. Not quite as impressive as some of the other numbers being posted, but I'm doing work dammit!
Next Thursday however, I leave for Aruba for 5 days so hopefully I can just maintain while I'm there *crosses fingers*.

Morning everyone,
Weigh in tomorrow. Hope to see it down to 304 at least.
Not feeling to great mentally. A lot of stuff going through my head. I am trying my best to concentrate on the positives and not dwell on the negatives. I have my grandkids coming this weekend to our place as their parents have to go to a funeral so they will be keeping me busy. Lots of playing at the park (if its not raining).
Hope everyone has a great weekend (and for my fellow Canadians, a great long weekend! :))

for the nasal polyps that are blocking the airway and preventing me from breathing properly.
I'll get some cardio in this weekend, but won't be able to lift or do cardio for a few days after (maybe even a week, not sure yet).
So I'll consider this my "Deload week"! LOL!
I'll just keep the diet tight and work on my off-white tan if the weather is nice. I'll keep posting so I don't miss a week.

Everybody is doing so well in this contest. I know this contest has motivated me to goals i never had before. I'm looking to get really lean, even when the contest is over i'm still going to keep going.
Hey, just thought of something, we should start another thread when the contest is over so we can all keep going together. It's an idea?...or has someone else thought of this already? lol
So last week i was up a pound and the two weeks prior to that i didn't lose any weight. That's 3 weeks with no results with one of those week's going the wrong way. This week i'm down 2.5lbs from last week and 1.5lbs...well, you get what i'm saying.
I've lost an inche in my mid thighs which is a big loss for me. Half an inch in the waist, and nothing in the hips.
I lose fat in the strangest ways and it's never consistent.

Well so far in this competition I've been sick 3 different times. Lol this is getting ridiculous. I don't get sick but maybe once a year usually so I guess it's just my bad luck that's helped make me sick 3 times in a short period. Ugh. Anyway, I'm just about over this current sickness so yay! I hope everyone else isn't getting this stomach bug that's going around. Keep up the hard work you guys! =)

Refeeds really depend on alot of things. Your training, bulking, cutting and how you feel. Also, I'm assuming you're doing the CKD?
Refeeds can be one meal to 2 days. I usually do 36hrs. Friday night to Saturday night.

I refeed when i start to stall which is about -5lbs from my last stall. So, if i get stuck at 230lbs...i'll refeed and be up to like 235lbs...then i will lose all the way down to 225lbs or something less until i stall again. Seems like i stall every 2-4 weeks. I do not plan my refeeds unless it's been a month. I just go by what my body needs/wants.
When i do refeed it's only for a day. If i do two days worth of carbs i'll gain like 8lbs and feel horrible and bloated. Tried it...sucked
Been working for me. Lost over 70lbs so far doing it that way. :)

There has been a few us us that have tampered with the idea of a continuance some want an extended competition transformation which was out voted as well as dismisssed by the Mod and I threw out an idea to do an OBF Cool Down with Black Cats offered as a incentive to the last men/women standing.
MsTropix_ll, my daughter, lost her dog Cocoa this morning. She isnt answering her phone and hasnt called me or returned my text messages. Im giving her space though. Cocoa had swallowed something that got lodged in her and turned her intestines inside out. She didnt make it out of surgery. :(
I had an eventful day. I went to Chipotle in hopes of being one of the first 100 customers for a free t-shirt and burrito- but traffic was at a stand still so I missed out. So sis and I bought one. I am proud to say I cut it into 3rds so it took all afternoon-night to finish it off.
After Chipotle, we went to PANERA for tea and cards, lol.
After that I went to the beach and watched E.T. Its so cool to just pick a spot on the grass and get snuggled into a blankie and pillow for the night. I admit I was a lil sad cause so many people had their dogs with them. :(
I also had to walk 3 blocks to get to the movie, then back to the truck. I think its called the "Moonlight Movie"-anyway, I was ecstatic! to notice (even though I am still obese) that my thighs were NOT fighting one another as to whose turn it is to take the next step. If my ankle was not all jacked up- I would have walked further than just back to my car after the movie.
By the time I arrived home, after midnight it was C H E A T day ! ! ! My sister had bought me Reeses Pieces for E.T. but since it wasnt cheat day yet, I saved them for NOW!
I tried to post this before midnight, but was too late so this is yesterdays loss- (-2 lbs in last two days)

There's no reason to. Some people are insane... you have to live life too. I'm still eating carbs although small amounts... so I'm content. I feel good, and I deal pretty well with dieting. Must be my obsessive nature lol
Keep truckin!
Ive recently had good progress with low-mod carbs (<80g/day). Here next week Im going to drop them real low and see where it gets me. Ive very carb sensitive, so should help shed a couple stubborn lbs.
Just got done with 52min of cardio. Rode my bike to my state park, around the lake twice, back to town to the track and walked/jogged a mile for a cool down. Total of about 9 miles.

I'm still here...had to go to dc for work for a week, then I go to the beach next weekend. Was hoping to have better progress before then but slow and steady wins the race.
I love to EAT and Cellucor took that away from me :(
I guess it's for the best...I have to force myself to eat.

Congrats hun!
I hope your daughter feels better soon. Sending her good vibes. :D
...and a big congrats on hitting the 30 mark.
That is so awesome!! Great job!
Sorry to hear about your daughter's loss. Prayers being sent your way.
I'm down for continuing...or at least keeping in touch. :) I've enjoyed having this support system. Sometimes it feels like we're on a team since we're constantly cheering each other on, something that's hard to find in a competition.
MsTropix, I'm sorry to hear about your dd's dog. Congrats on your weight loss! :D

THANKS to all of the doggie comments and if I missed anyone that left a doggie comment, my apologies and I THANK YOU TOO!!!.
Lacy, my sister and myself took Cocoas brother out to play ball today. He has been depressed without his Cocoa and Trixy the other dog suddenly died only two weeks ago- but she was very old. So Fat Boy, the only dog of the 3 is left, so he needed to be forced to play and be active. Last thing we need is for him to get a broken heart and be heart sick. :( I am not the one that takes Fat Boy out to play, but I have made a vow to pick him up from Lacys house once a week now to play. I love him so much.
I totally love this OBF Family and there will be no probs with having an ongoing thread for us after this challenge is over. We should stick together, since we all know each others goals as well as we do now and are aware of each others injuries and have a sense of when one is feeling less motivated and such.
BUT it would be nice if we could have that OBF Cool Down thread with the Black Cats as an incentive reward, lol when this challenge is completed. If I mention this enough times maybe it will happen for us! :)
Just fuked my back up doing light warm up squats. Perfect form and all...WTF?!
What exactly is wrong with your back? Age...lol. Jk Jk.
i woke up at 6 am, no idea why, usually dont wake up till 9, meh
Great, its the sleep thief bug. I have had this for weeks now. Up all day and night too. So not like me and it interferes with my diet and exercise.
refeed today, havent really cheated too much yet.....but tonight I dine in hell.
muhahahaa
I cheated today. All of my meals were about the same as they are everyday, but I didnt worry about how many times I ate or how often I was eating, but the one thing I did do is, LOL, man...
Made TWO shakes with a scoop of NesQuik.

Its a great feeling to have an obbsessive strength where it counts to need one! I am very cool about sticking to what I want and I see people all around me so unsettled with the choices they make because it doesnt come naturally to them and they constantly make excuses to justify why they cant seem to stick with a plan. KUDOS for you chica.
Hello everyone,
FINALLY off my plateau got down to 196 today!!! That is a 2 pound loss for the week.
I Have been reading daily (I know it don***8217;t count) but haven***8217;t been able to post much. First let me say you guys are so mean! Ya***8217;ll keep posting all those food pix!
Getting to the gym has been a issue. With all the yard & house work been going on only made it there one day. Also been doing well on the diet. Mostly protein shakes and bars. I know it***8217;s not the best way but it has been the best way for me. Still trying to learn all the portion & mostly portion control!!
Congrats! Those stinkin plateaus are ridiculous, lol, so IRRITATING!
Portion control was my MAIN focus when I began this weight loss plan in February. I new beyond the shadow of a doubt I needed to master that one HUGE issue. AND I did too. Its no longer an issue and it comes naturally now. THANK GOODNESS because I of all people needed a reality check.
Had a great week here. I'm now sitting at my lowest weight ever.
I cant wait to be in your shoes. GOOD job! I NV you.
I'm still here...had to go to dc for work for a week, then I go to the beach next weekend. Was hoping to have better progress before then but slow and steady wins the race.
I went to the beach last night and watched E.T. under the stars. Next week is Top Gun and just before the movie starts they are going to fly a pack of jets over us!!! I cant wait.

Looking good, from what I can tell!
(must be shaking from the low carbs...) LOL!
Thanks, yeah, it can get tough without carbs but that's the point. lol I'm used to the "lack" of glycogen in my muscles so it's nothing new to me. I usually do 260 reps with 4 exercises for each set of muscles in 20 min. When it really starts to burn this is what i think (me counting my reps):
.....20, suck it up, 21, suck it up, 22, suck it up, 23, suck it up, 24, suck it up, 25, suck it up....2....6... SUCK IT UP!!!!! 2.......7....... SUCK IT UP!!!!!!!!!!...
