oasis... bought mine for $49.99 + tax this weekend.

But I have to admit they were on sale (65% off) and usually goes for over 100+. I say look for the good sales or sales period, you might be surprised;)

That 5k training plan is solid, we used that a couple of years ago and it helped us out a ton.

Anyone else love cardio? It wasn't the same about 7 weeks ago lol but now I'm really enjoying it. Got to tell myself to not do too much so soon though, try and save that "weapon" for the end

I hate cardio, I just do it to burn another few 100 calories and sometimes have to force my self lol. No matter how much I do it I hate it.

On another note, another awesome work out today. Worked on my back today. Ever since I stalled i'm more motivated than ever to go to the gym. I already cut my cals by 350 and added two more cardio sessions to my weekly routine and I know if I bust my ass this week that three week long stall will be gone.

Was pretty tired after I got done lifting and all I had left to do was 15 mins on the elliptical at high intensity. I really did not want to do the ellipticals because I was exhausted and my lifting session was about an hr and 20 mins but I told my self I'm not a pussy and got on the elliptical and burned off 180 cals in 15 mins..felt great

Sorry for not posting.

Just trying to stay healthy and be constructive.

Still under eating and forcing meals. Gym weight has been a bit lackluster...

I'm still pushing though, gotta keep on keeping on.

Weight is around 175 right now, which I was targeting at the end...I need to do a short recomp I think.

I'm still losing inches on the waist at least.

But if you are posting more often you contribute to the support of "others" efforts too. Just sayin. Hope to see you in here more.

i'm too tired, but I will make it.lol

That's the SPIRIT! "Just Do It" NIKE.

No slacking, no excuses, no 'I'll just have one slice of pizza', let's do this!!!

I ditto that!

Good morning all.

I can't believe how many people have been disqualified. :(

here's an outlook on how long we've been at it and how long we have left.

http://i167.photobucket.com/albums/u159/kudos2jen/2010calender2.png

WOW! Thank you for that visual! That really brought me back to reality. Reps on recharge.

Getting dressed this morning and it took me a second to realize I'd just buckled my belt one notch tighter!

I did the old double-take and thought "well waddya know! I must be doing something right!"

CoNgRaTuLaTiOnS!! I too have noticed the smallest differences in the way my pants are fitting. Isnt it a great feelin? !!!

Hey everyone! A new week! Wooo!
I haven't been feeling super duper the past few days, and I took today off work too. Gonna try to get some stuff done at home while I'm under the weather.
Morning cardio soon... and breakfast!

Awww. Get well soon, Beefie.

guess I missed a week of posting, but dont see how I did unless I didnt post enough during the week I was away.

GL everyone!

Good luck to you too. Try to keep one foot in the thread at all times. Dont wanna lose you!

Cake was good and gifts..-> new running shoes
-> new workout clothes
-> supplements
-> CASH

Good grief. I wish I was you that day! I need all that, LOL.

Thanks! It was actually a blast, I miss living there. I'm not missing another week don't worry, I'm actually kind of upset that I missed one to begin with and didn't get it taken care of ahead of time. Trust me, after putting on 3 pounds over the vacation I won't be taking another one!

I'm back on track today taking my supplements, about to head to the gym and eating right so far!

Well welcome back, again! Now whoop some butt.

how many of members still in the contest actually drink on a regular basis? i am really interested in knowing how many of us don't drink at all in efforts to improve results

I am a whiskey drinker, but I refrain from it at all costs. My health is more important to me than drinking. Besides, what good does it do us to diet and exercise when your liver is dissolving from alcohol? No sense at all. I had some bears at the fights the other night, but I also took my own gallon of water and drank that between beers. Anyway- that was my two sense.

No ya don't! ;)

It's better sober! Then you can laugh at all the silly drunk people! :D

Hi there B.

wow, i am such a newb sometimes! I found out I am supp to be posting in THIS thread each week! I TOTALLY misread it as needing to insure I posted in my log each week! argh! least Free Weight Friedel clue'd me in before I disqualified myself!

Youre lucky FWF had some mercy, LOL. Get plugged in.

Anyone recommend some decent running shoes? Something under $75 bucks.

My daughter MsTropix_ll works for Walmart, and said that once in a blue moon they will draft name brand shoes temporarily and their current shoe is Shape Ups for 25.00. As soon as they sell out they will not go back to Walmart again. You might wanna call your local store to find out if they have em, but hurry!

The best running shoes i've owned were Dr. Scholls and they were reasonably priced, around $50. I've just purchased a new pair of Nike Air (i LOOOOOOVE Nike) and i've only had them 2 weeks so their still breaking in.

I used Nike Air's before but they were a bit defferent. I've used Puma's too and i've tried other cheaper brands but Dr. Scholls have been the best so far. I'm hoping my new Nike's live up to those standards. If not, i'll go back to Dr. Scholls.

I don't drink at all. I'd much rather eat something bad for me than waste my calories on a drink. I'm not a big drinker anyhow. I never built my tolerance up. I can still have plenty of fun without the alcohol. :D

for running its hands down Brooks or Asics for me.......comfortable and will go forever. I do like Nike's but they just don't hold up compared to these brands. I put over 300 miles on my Brooks and they're still in perfect condition

see if there's a running store near you, normally they'll do a free gait analysis and get the best shoe for your running style. Its very important imo to be using the right shoe. Obviously at 3 miles its not as crucial but if you want to keep progressing and get to 4, 5, and even 6 miles a good shoe is a must have

Whew the past couple weeks have been crazy!! Finals are coming up next week, so professors are cramming everything...as am I :)

I've been doing full body 2x a week and tri training has been going well. Though I feel I haven't spent enough time running, but am set as far as the swim and bike go.

If I can make it through May 8th alive I'll be doing alright :) and will hopefully be posting in here a lot more!!! and my log

hehe im such a tool sometimes.

did chest today...felt good, but chest ran out of steam about 1/2 through. rep started going down quickly. maybe a lil bit of jet lag, to much sleep last night, slightly lower carbs...who knows! lol.

good being back. I think I may at the point in my life style change here that I am dedicated to this. In the past when i went to vegas I would sometimes be miserable. being 56 lbs heavier will do that. the plane, sitting, standing, walking, going to bed, waking up....everything was that much better! I am excited to be part of time community and part of this contest! Its all very motivating! :)

I'm exactly the same. I'd much rather eat my calories. Come to think of it, the last time I drank was on an all-inclusive trip to Cancun about 3 years ago. And as much fun drinking is, I just feel horrible the next day.....not like the old days, lol. Ahhh, to be young again....:)

Same here! Eating calories is sooooo much better. Not too mention you can actually remember the wonderful experience!!!! LOL

--------------------------------------------------------------------------------

So week 7 was not very lucky for me... I put on just over a half pound and sadly I know why! I could not keep myself away from the carbs last week! I was right on track for workouts, which I am very thankful for... I would hate to think what I would have gained with no workouts.

With this week marking the half way point, I am bound and determined to be back on track 100%! The power rack will be here this week, so my trainer will be updating my workout YEAH!!!!!

Good luck to all to the half way mark!

All this talk about the couch to 5k program makes me want to try it again! I tried it before and it seems like every time i try to run I get the WORST shin splints. Like, for days...but I have been working out my calves regularly the last couple of months and I've lost a bit of weight, so it may be time to try it again. The only problem is that I will be SUPER busy with school for like the next 3 weeks or so...the end of the semester is always so tough!!! Then I have a summer class and then I'll FINALLY have my Bachelor's!!! Then I just gotta figure out what's next....

Okay, time for morning cardio on my elliptical. Hope everyone has a great week!!!

If you are always getting shin splints when running more than likely it has to do with the way you are landing on your feet while running. If you are going to do a program to Run a 5K then it would be a good idea to go into a running store and let then custom fit shoes based on how you run and land on your feet. They have specific shoes that will help correct the way you land on your feet while running and will reduce or totally eliminate shin splints. Worked for me and the shoes didn't cost much more than what I would have paid at a regular store, if at all!

Good Luck!

Haha! Why not? 8 weeks is a good amount of time! It's all about diet! I know, it totally sucks. I start my diet back up tomorrow. I took this past week off...I'm feeling the bloat! :D

no way man you got this...unless it comes down to you and me to place haha

bull. if anyone has the motivation, its you.

You never know what can happen in 10 (9?) weeks dude... keep at it strong and anything can happen! Just stay active in the forum and do you best, all you need to do.

Thanks guys, sorry for late response but my diet is so bad I'm eating like a fat boy loves junk food. I tried running the last week or so and the day after I my legs were dead. I'll get back on it on running in the mornings. I love working out but I hate dieting! I'll probably start again but this time jogging/mostly walking.

Also... When you're posting try to be as active as you can. Posts like "posting" once a week won't cut it this time. Be active, participate, and motivate. Coming in and saying, "here is my post for this week" does absolutely NOTHING for your fellow competitors.

Part of the whole intent of the OBF is the support and motivation of others. I'm guilty of not doing my part to help motivate and support as much as I can- it's a busy life and all that. But kudos to everyone who has really stepped up and supported and motivated others in this thread- some days it's hard to keep up with the thread because of it.

p.s. - I'm at 34 now :)

So I caught a cold over the weekend that ruined my eating for two days, but stepped my game back up today and had diet on point, not to mention one of the best workouts I've had in a long time. Did an hour and a half of basketball before Upper Body Heavy day and still managed to hit all my reps, as well as getting an amazing pump after totally draining myself with cardio. No idea how considering I've felt like death all day, but this workout definitely improved things and I feel a little better too.

Hoping this cold goes away soon, makes eating a bitch..

Look into Umcka...literally cuts cold duration in half. Get two boxes, well worth the $20!

lol hey man, just think of it like this, all good things must come to an end...so maybe my good things ending!

Or think of it as, I lost way too much weight too quickly, and now I have stalled(which I have been for 4 weeks), so now I have to work WAY harder just to lose little bits....while others still may have lots of easy weight to lose!

And lets just say this, I try to be a fairly modest person...add to that the fact that I have high standards and set my goal high, thats why I wont say I've done an amazing job.

I have had so many cheat meals that were unnecessary! I have drank alcohol probably 10 times...yes very moderately, and with diet soda, but still, I have not done everything I could have done to get to where I am at. I should be 5-8lbs lighter right now, can you imagine how good I'd look then? Yeah, THAT, would be A FRIGGIN MAZING!!

You've made some good points bro!

But we all could have done better, we all could have pushed a bit harder... You know I could have been 15-20 lbs lighter by now... imagine how good I would look.

Sometimes, we just need to appreciate how far we have come and keep pushing harder!

lol I was 21 years old! I really was still just a kid. I dont feel like I became a real man ti l I was about 23. Thats when i stopped growing up and just started becoming wiser, if ya know what I mean. Body building was definitely the MAIN influence on this. I didnt start training like a real body builder until about a year after that before picture. I just got like anorexic and obsessed with losing weight for almost a year. Then I figured out how wrong I was after losing all my muscle. Then i started over, and built back up.

Got chest in and did some running late last night! Felt good. chest is sore today. Going to see how those size 36s do me today all day at work.

I also work a desk job and morning cardio does wonders for me. Prob add it back in sometime in the next month.

Final thoughts on Jack3d

I had posted some initial thoughts on Jack awhile back and today is my final review.

The first week it was great, tons of energy. Over time the energy decreased as I became tolerant to the stim.

Recently I have had pretty bad crashes during the day. This morning I took Presurge which doesnt have as much caffeine. Ill see if I crash today.

Most likely I wont be getting Jack again.

Thanks for the feedback. Wonder if the crashes can be attributed to the 1,3 Dimeth? The supp kiddies love this stuff....looks pretty basic, stims with a dose of creatine and BA.

Do you cycle pre-workout products to give your body a little break from the stims?

Presurge is good stuff.....Beast Predator is my favorite for energy, great value too. Vengeance is the best for pumps/strength w/little caffeine

I was using Jack on my cardio days and presurge on lifting days. So kind of alternating. The days I take surge I feel much better during the day.

Yesterday was a horrible crash day after Jack. I could barely stay awake. I really take the pre-wo supps because I workout at 5am and it gives me a jolt of energy.

...On another note, I think I need new pants... No, I really need new pants. My old pair of comfy pants (size 34 mens) are basically hanging off of me, I'm at work and I look ridiculous. I don't think I have a single pair of pants that fit me well anymore... I got 1 pair I'm still okay with, and that's cause I bought them a lil tight (AE Men's 32s)...

I need money for new clothes! This weight loss thing is ridiculous! :D

People either love 1,3 Dimeth or hate it. Personally, I like the addition of it in small doses, but if I take too much I definitely have a harder crash than if I just use other stims.

That's using it too often imo....You could probably easily cut it out on the days your doing cardio. When was your last break from these products? Maybe its just me but I like to cycle off as much as possible so that I don't lose that effectiveness. Usually use them 3 weeks then take a full week off. Or sometimes even a full 2 weeks. Just my .02 as I see alot of people becoming dependent on these products. I work out at 5 AM too so I do understand how much they can help on those days your just not ready to go.

I would have to say the opposite for my experience. I was on jacked for almost 2 months straight and always had constant energy from it with only 2 scoops. However I became extremely caffeine addicted because of it and would crash hard 8 hours into the day if I had forgotten to take my dose.

Just signed up for a new membership at a second gym. It's more of a "fitness center" then "gym" but they have lots awesome cardio machines and keep them in working order. The gym that I lift at has only a few cardio machines that are old and often "out of order". The fitness center is much closer to my place and they open at 5:30am so I'm able to get there do an hour of cardio and get home with lots of time to get ready for work. I was hard pressed to do the same at the other gym. I figured I'll primarily be just doing cardio there (still lifting at the other gym) but will probably do the odd workout there as well. The main reason I did this is that my GF has had a membership there for awhile and now through her work the cost of her membership was basically cut in half. Family members are eligible for the same rate so basically we both have memberships there now and are paying the same amount that she's paid for the last couple years.

It is easier to push yourself when there is someone working out with you. The problem is though that that person has to be as motivated as you or it can have the opposite effect. We got 9 weeks brother- with or without a workout partner you can make it happen.

Yes it is easier but I think I will be ok. I just got to remember to keep it going to the next level.

Damn I have a Bahamas Cruise in June, guess you guys will have an advantage.

I buy BCS's 1,3 and now mainly use it for studying for big exams. It helps me to stay awake and get really good focus. I gotta take 50-75 mg though but haven't noticed any crash.

I really can't wait for finals to be over. Classes and studying are cutting into my workout time.

I had the same issues with Jack3d, White Flood, and Vasocharge. I pretty much swore off pre-workouts/energy supps for the past 2 years simply because I seemed to become "immune" to them after a given number of weeks.

Cycling them seemed to help, but then that 2-3 weeks off every other month was sheer misery.

But I Scivation has changed/improved/updated/etc the formula for Vasocharge and it has become the Holy Grail of PreWorkout Supplements. I've been using it for going on 6 weeks and have had no problems. I'm still taking the recommended dosage and haven't had to up it like I did with all the above after only a few days of supplement.

My energy for my 5am workouts are through the roof!! My lifts have all gone up, despite being in a caloric deficit, working out on an empty stomach (big dinner), and the large amount of time I spend in aerobic training!!

There is no crash from quake, my energy levels stay the same throughout the day!!! This is my next favorite part...my focus during my classes/study time have even improved :D

GettingFitAgain: If this sounds like something you'd be interested in, send me a PM when you get a chance!

Glad to hear you are enjoying Quake... I got a sample with my last box of Scivation whey but I haven't tried it yet!

I've been using SuperPump... which I love! No "crash" like I've had with other pre-w/o supps.

My apologies for my lack of posting. I fell over the weekend and ****ed up my shoulder; dislocation, possible tear. I may be dropping out pending the results of x-rays/mris when I get those down. Hopefully it is nothing serious.

This is good infos on pre-workout supps... thanks guys. I now have more things to look into!

...On another note, I think I need new pants...

I can't wait to see your progress pics. are you going to post any before your surgery?

I understand it really sucks, and I can sympathsize... but you can still diet and do cardio, and leg exercises (with exceptions), and work your left side... just be careful with that hurt shoulder. (And be sure to rest it and not strain it anymore...!!)

I'm currently making a few exceptions for my bad leg, and I can't run at all (or do heavy legs), but I'm still progressing, and even after surgery I'm still going to be doing everything I can (I'll be on crutches for 2+ weeks and not allowed to move my leg - you can bet I'll be using my stationary bike with 1 leg).

Persevere man!

I do them every 4 weeks, so there will be some this week (April 30th), and then the next set on May 28th (3 days before surgery).

I'll likely take a few pics after surgery when I'm all drugged up for sh*ts&giggles.

My only issue with Quake (if you call it an issue LOL) Is that it lasted too long!!! If I take it as a pre-WO around 5pm before hitting the gym, I am still feeling the effects of it when I am trying to go to sleep!

Haha I know exactly what you mean!!! I take it around 5 and am in the gym by 5:45am and I still feel energized and ready to go even 12 hours later, but don't know that I would love it if I was working out at night and wanting to be a sleep a few hours later. Have you thought about taking it a couple hours before your workout? Maybe something to try on your next workout to see if you are still seeing the same effects in the gym without taking it directly before your workout?

If you do try this, post how it works for you!! :)

You will love Quake too!! I can't give a fair review of superpump's actual pump/energy benefits as my tummy was not a big fan of it :o :D But I'm happy to see it is working for you!! And I agree with you in that the "no crash" is one of the most important factors I take into account with PreWO's. That and how long it takes my body to become tolerant...

i had same issue just starting. make sure u stretch those shins more and go bit slower during both ur run and walks. ur shins need to adjust. if needed to, u dont need to do it 3x per week. take more days off for recovery if needed. during week 5 i took a week off and came back stronger. u could also look into forefoot running if ur a heal striker.

I couldn't run outside for the same reason. Shinsplints. I HATE them. I started on a treadmill and started using the incline while jogging. It works the shins and will likely cause shinsplints but you can adjust it to condition your shins. My only recommendation is to not push it too much. You can cause micro fractures if you do.

Good Luck!

Thanks for the advice, everyone! I may just start up the running again...I've been a bit hesitant but I think I should just go for it. I think if I could run for a few miles without dying it would really help me feel good about myself. Last week I did some HIIT sprints (going 9.5 mph! which is super fast for me) and the week before I did some sprints and neither time I had pain the next day. I think it would be really cool to go running in the park but I fear the heat would kill me. It gets so damn hot here and I'm sensitive to the sun (skin cancer runs in my family) I'll probably be stuck on the treadmill. But that's okay, I will give it a shot.

I don't know this would help with any damage already done but maybe with slowing down any further degenration- but I have a problem with my hip from misalignment of a vertebrae in my lower back. I bought an inversion table and 20 seconds on that and my hip feels great. Visits to the chiro don't even give results that last as long anymore.

I was in Boston from Thursday to Sunday for a wedding. Had an awesome time, ate a lot of food, drank a lot more alcohol than normal. Back on my diet now.

how many of members still in the contest actually drink on a regular basis? i am really interested in knowing how many of us don't drink at all in efforts to improve results
I don't drink on a regular basis when I'm not dieting. I tend to have a few beers a month and very rarely drink enough to even get buzzed. That said, this past weekend I was in Boston for a bachelor's party & wedding. I drank more than I had in the past 2 months :)

Look into Umcka...literally cuts cold duration in half. Get two boxes, well worth the $20!
Umcka is homeopathic fraud. The label doesn't say how much of the main ingredient is in it but 1X means it's diluted to 1/10th concentration. Not much more in it than sugar and water. It's possible there's enough of the ingredient to be active but it's impossible to know without them listing it.

Finally back from Toronto. Sadly that meant missing my posting last week as I had no internet access. We were suppose to fly home on Sunday (so I was going to post Sunday night) but we heard of all the storms in the US and didn't want a flight full or turbulence as my Aunt and I already hate flying enough (even though we do board planes a least a handful of times a year).

Anyway, nothing much is new. I did a lot of walking while I was in the city as always, but I usually had to eat out (all the appliances in the condo were turned off and unused for showings) , so didn't eat great all the time. Slightly too many carbs, but I never pigged out or anything. For dinner tonight I had a nice chickpea salad with cucumbers and tuna. It felt great to eat some real food!

Anyway, now that I am back and treated myself to a new ipod I hope to start jogging this week. I intend to up my weights in my strength workout as well.

I will update the rest once I finally weigh myself tomorrow and take measurements. I am hoping no damage was done!

Awesome visual! Much needed as it's been a rough week. I've not treated myself well at all, been stressing out and eating more. Luckily, I haven't gained weight.

So I think my dog is loving this OBF contest much more then I am. He's going for more runs then he ever has! Except when I had my horse!

Keep on keepin' on.

And remember - If your dog is fat, you're not getting enough exercise.

I'm seriously hoping I have the same problem :p
I'd love to look (be?) taller!

And gymratluke - you have done an awesome job man, keep it up!
(& strong nip rings lol)

Oh I was thinking cause in his younger picture he was missing some legs, but in his update picture he had some, lol. Thus, looks taller...I fainted when I got my nip rings, lol. I got mine done in a car at the park, in 2002 lol.

My apologies for my lack of posting. I fell over the weekend and ****ed up my shoulder; dislocation, possible tear. I may be dropping out pending the results of x-rays/mris when I get those down. Hopefully it is nothing serious.

I fell thru my moms porch a couple/ three weeks ago. Jacked up my ankle, knee, back, ribs and shoulder (still cant hold my arm up in the air)...I have not missed a beat in this challenge from my accident either- what was your excuse again? Stick with us bro- you got this and remember it is a challenge, so why quit when it gets challenging?

Well I do not have sound on my computer, but I will admit that the picture and the entire title was enough to know it must have been a hilarious vid- thanks for tryin. OK OK OK (Pesci- Lethal Weapon) OK OK OK

I know the ladies were looking for the female version so here you go:)
Posting both in case someone wants the male version too:p

My best friends dad died. She lives in another state but I feel so terrible that I cant be there for her. :(

I had a trying day. I was having light headed spells and was afraid I would pass out at the grocery store. Unfortunately there is no seating near the isles, lol, but I barely made it home without passing out. I grabbed a sweet n salty protein bar to split with my daughter before I drove.

When I got home I ate a cream cheese topped English muffin with a large glass of grapefruit juice and waited to see if that would help me feel better. 30 minutes later I was still in a daze so I ate a BIG salad, still 30 minutes later I was in and out so I ate 1/2 of a PB&J, then gradually felt better thank goodness. I am pretty sure the lights almost went out on me.

Diabetes runs HEAVILY in my family on BOTH sides so I had no doubt this was at least a hypoglycemic issue, so I ate but was careful not to pig out for speedy relief, I just took it easy and kept balance thru it until I felt better. Scary to feel outside of yourself.

Really?! I thought it REALLY helped me! Im normally sick for weeks when I get a cold. Both times I took the Umcka ALL symptoms were gone within a week! No joke...
There MAY be enough of the ingredient to be active, 1/10th dilution isn't that much if they put enough in before diluting it. Then again, there are plenty of other reasons you could have recovered more quickly. Perhaps you had a disease that was easier to recover from or maybe your fitness level assisted in faster recovery. Maybe you ate better. Who knows, it could have been anything.

My gosh that's terrible news about your friends dad :(

And good for you for taking care of your light headed spells the way you did... good way to do it. I've never had to deal with anything that bad, but before when I felt as if my blood sugar was crashing - I totally pigged out.

Day 3 Week 1 of couch to 5k done!

1.79 miles 25 mins.

Real running shoes make a HUGE difference. Like running on pillows compared to my cross trainers.

208 lbs (19 total from start of OBF). 200 lbs you are in my sights!

That's amazing progress!!
I wish I could run right now cause it'd be awesome to follow along and do that running program with the rest of you guys!

From my pictures (taken in an evening) I'm down ~18lbs... But to be fair, since the start of the contest I'm just a little over 16lbs lost. Still pretty stoked about it :D Hoping to make it 18-20 by the end of the week!!
If i do that, I reward myself with vodka (or tequila, or rum, or whisky, or maybe brandy)

I have no doubt the couch to 5k program will help accelerate your weight loss Carl. Its an awesome high when Im done with each day. Going to do Week 2 Day 1 tomorrow.

My friend likes to run also, he can do 3 miles in like 20 mins or so and we decided to try a 5k this year once I get my endurance up.

I did week 2, day 1 of the 5k program last night...felt way easy which was great. This morning my legs feel great, no shin splints or knee pain. Pretty excited! I might skip ahead a week or two since it felt so easy. Or I guess I could run faster (I was only going 6.5 mph).

This morning I weighed in another pound down despite starting creatine up a couple of days ago. When I first joined BB.com I set my goal to be 150 by May 29...don't think that's going to happen, I would have to lose 24 pounds in a month. That's okay, it was kind of an arbitrary number. I will just try to get as close to that number as possible.

Now it's time to do some morning cardio while studying for my sports nutrition exam this afternoon!

Hope everyone has a great day.

Good job! My suggestion is to not skip ahead. the program was built to help reduce the chance of injury. Like you said, speed increase or maybe even stick a 4th day per week with your runs.

I took it as, start taking your pictures at the "official end date", and they must be posted by the 3rd, so between the 26th and the 3rd take ur pics and post em... kinda like at the beginning we had from the 4th to the 13th or something like that!

I wasn't online the last couple of days so there were about 12 new pages to read through. Holy Cow!!
Gymrateluke---I also thought the two pics were of different people. I hope your progress made all the guys pee their pants. GOOD JOB!!! Now that's what I call a transformation...in progress. Can't wait to see your ends pics and your placing in the contest. It just goes to show you what hard work and determination can do for you.

I took the last week to maintain my weight so I could stabilize. I've been pretty hardcore on the dieting since about January. I only went up 4 lbs so that's great. Now my body is ready for dieting again.

I'm also happy to say i was able to really up my weights this week. I had a great lift on Monday and I'm feeling a bit sore. I can't wait to get done with work and lift tonight. I'm going to hit it extra hard. I love how good my abs and back are looking. My core is really strong and my arms are coming along nice. I keep pushing it on the legs but should probably up my cardio to burn some more fat.

Everyone that's taking it seriously really seems to be coming along! Good Job everyone!!!

For the Double T does taking it for this contest in any way interfer with doing their other contest. I'm assuming it doesn't, but I'm just checking. I originally thought about the Double T Challenge but got frustrated that BB.com didn't have KetoCuts. I mean what's the point of offering a contest when you don't have the product? Also if I understand it right the overall winner can only be a man. What's up with that?

Non workout days I miss approx 342 cals cause minus PWO energy, intra and post shake. Guess it makes sense since im not lifting. I will try to hit 1900-2100 cals today.

seeing and reading some of the progression in this contest I just hope to make some visual improvements! lol. lots of people doing so well!

Super excited to say that this morning i saw 210.5lbs!! I haven't seen 210 since after my shoulder surgery about 6 years ago. Topped the scales around 277lbs christmas about 2 years ago and now i'm about to hit the 65lbs loss mark!

I lowered my calories which is what helped to bust through my weight stall of 211lbs. LOVIN IT!

Will be in the 100's before this contest ends for sure!

My gosh that's terrible news about your friends dad :(

And good for you for taking care of your light headed spells the way you did... good way to do it. I've never had to deal with anything that bad, but before when I felt as if my blood sugar was crashing - I totally pigged out.

Get this, after finding that out about my friends dad, I got another two death notes in a row by different people. Freaky. They say it always happens in 3's- was a full moon last night or what, I dunno.

Sorry to hear, that sucks :(
Replied above.

UGH! If I don't lose weight this week, I am going to scream. Woke up last night puking my guts out, and then woke up and couldn't get off the toilet...blech...

LOL isnt it fun to be sick? Try being sick like that at my house with the plumbing out of order. Yeah- we are all using buckets and have been for a week. SUCKS! Get well, B.

City said the prob is on their property, so they dug out our yard, sidewalk and road today. They fixed everything plumbing wise, but they are returning to replace our front yard lawn, sidewalk and road.

I couldn't imagine being sick without plumbing. I remember the days of using buckets when I went to the cottage, and that wasn't fun.

I am feeling better this afternoon thankfully. I just feel like I have to go all the time and when I try to, it doesn't. GRR

Hope you are doing well Ms. T! :D

I feel like its gonna be something I notice more in a weekly time span unlike everything else which I can notice getting better. I just gotta step my game up a little bit.

On a good note: For my school we get to intern wherever we want for the 4th quarter instead of going to regular classes. I'm interning at my gym which should keep me much more active all day instead of sitting on my ass at a desk. Should help keep my mind of food too.

I'm sort of dealin with the same thing man!
I lose fat in the middle last, it's kind of ridiculous, I can see how the fat stores are like... moving up. Inching up the quads, thinning out a little in the hips/ass... and then from the top I can see the tops of my abs starting to be uncovered... but then there's this big blob of fat around the lower part. My pear is turning into a tiny apple?

Congrats on the progress! Weight doesn't matter, it's fitness and fat that you have to worry about :)

What you may want to do instead is measure your waist and thighs and track them getting smaller. Then you'll know if you're losing fat.

My shirt was resting well under my lower belly fat roll!!!! INSIGHT:Plus size shirts are NEVER made properly. Fat people HAVE to have their shirts made LONGER to hide all "hanging" belly fats. I stopped and stared at how my whole belly was hiding under my shirt for a change and gained instant relief and satisfaction and renewed hope. Progress is moving forward for me.

Well, I weighed in today just to see what is going on with the new diet and all... three days of perfect eating...

DOWN 6 POUNDS IN THREE DAYS!!!

Gives me confidence that this is working and I am going to continue doing this.

Got my hair did girls and it looks fab! Did a milk chocolate all over then applied beige streaks all over and I'mma hawt mama now. My daughter did it for me. My baby.

My weight is on the move. I hope to wake up tomorrow at least one pound less! I have said this before and woke up one pound more, lol, but I have noticed a pattern on how my body reacts on the scale, so it helps me predict my following mornings pretty much on target. We will see!!!

Thank you everyone. Never mind that for the 7.5 weeks that only puts me down a pound, but I know if I stick with this diet great things are going to happen.

I can see that 299 on the horizon now! :)

I'm sure you'll achieve it soon, it'll be here before you know it, as long as you stick to your plan and stay positive :)

If I can get it before the end of the OBF, I'll be extremely happy. :D

The staying positive part is my biggest obstacle... :o

Congrats Brian!!

Thanks alot George. But in reality it's not that great as it is really only 1 pound from the start of the contest. But I am on the right track now and ready to make a huge difference.

a little disappionted with my chest/tri workout today.my shoulder still is hurtin i went from repin 185 to just barley reppin 160 on last set my max was 255 i know im no where near that right now it sucks. i have been doppin weight slow and steady but i feel like not bein able to lift heavy is hurtin me.any ideas

you may have lost some strength due to the weight loss.

Try switching to DBs and machines for a while just to take the stress off the shoulder joint from BBs.
