Ok here goes, a second time... not sure what happened but last one i did is gone.

My name is Paris, i started working out at a gym 8/08, before that i had a home gym and kept fit. 4/09 i went to a local show here in Fresno, CA and that is where i met Jay Cutler (my profile pic) i was inspired to get on stage at that show and so i have been looking forward to doing the show this year.

I love the idea of having huge arms and since the Triceps make up a majority of the arm i think I gonna like this workout! I really want to have a nice horseshoe!

i love all the workouts in the Thrashing Triceps routine and use them regularly i just don't hold for a PC... that is where the magic happens so i can't wait to try it! Especially with the NO-Beta... i was in the Bulging Bicep contest and that pump is muslce blowing!

I'll be doing the workout tonight Wednesday 3/3/10. Wish me luck!

ok tonight i did the thrashing tricep workout and boy was it awesome!

Here is the link to the excercise...btw you can't just show up and do this excercises you have to read carefully the instructions its important to make sure you know exactly how to do each rep or else you will miss out on the most extreme pump you have ever had...

I took 6 NO-Beta with some Lemon Lime CreaDyl as i was leaving my house, i only life about 5 minutes away from the gym... once i got to the gym i was kind of thrown off cuz the equipment i needed to do the excercises was in use and so i quickly banged out a set of Bi's til the equipment was clear... once i got to the station i was starting to really feel the blood flowing and the BA tingling...

ok so for reference... i normally do 3 sets of skull crushers 8-10 reps starting with 75, 85 and then end with 95 pounds

so the workout says to start light... so i go to 45 and do my first set of skull crushers or Lying Overhead Cable Extensions w/t EZ Bar as they are officially called.

so i go up 1 then count 2,3 in my head as i squeeze the life out of my triceps then down and up 2 - 2,3; 3 - 2,3 and so on until 8. to be totally honest at this point i am thinking i went too light.. well just wait cuz you will be in trouble if you start going to heavy too soon... after my 8 PC (peak contraction = holding it and sqeezing at the top of the rep) reps i did 10 Full Range of Motion reps (called FRM reps)

next was Triceps Pushdown w/t EZ Bar that was good and i started to feel a burn but it wasn't too bad 1 - 2,3; 2 - 2,3 all the way to 8 then i did 10 FOM reps. i was feeling a good and still thought i should up the weight untill i got to the next one... WOW!

Triceps Pushdown w/t Rope these ones are what put me over the edge... i did them where they were close at the top then i pulled them at an angle until they were at wide at my sides so i pulled them like a triangle. 1 - 2,3; 2 - 2,3; 3 - 2,3 i was really starting to feel the pump here and wasnt sure i was going to get to 8 let alone do any FOM reps... well i focused in and went to the happy place in my head and got through it but as i hit my 8th FOM rep i was about to explode and let out an "AHH!" then walked away shaking my arms for relief... my wife who i workout with was like are you ok? i was going to live but my arms didn't feel like it.

well that was the first set!
I rested while my wife did the workout right behind me only she didn't do the PC like i did.

2nd set was actually more intense i tried to be strong and uped the weight from 45 to 50 on the 1st and 2nd excercise... that almost had me feeling burned out before i hit the rope pull down... when i did the last rope pull down i was squeeling a bit it was dang hard... I'll be honest on the rope pulldown here i went back to 45 i was dying it was serious work...

I read a blog that Jay Cutler did and he shared a workout that he did it was seriously intense... when someone said to him "bro that workout made me sick just watching it" Jay responded "thats what it takes to make a Mr Olympia body" i certainly felt like, if i want the arms i say i want, i have to keep going... this workout isn't for pansies... it isnt for people playing patty cake in the gym this workout is for people who want results and want to get the job done!

anyway i walked away shaking my arms for relief the pump was intense i could hardly move my arms i just wanted to rest them but i couldn't stop there i had one more set to do.

as i watched my wife do her set... i was like dang i feel like i just did some cardio i was feeling sweat down my back and around my temples this was a serious workout... i was feeling real warm not just in my arms but all over...

the last one i felt the pump on the first excersise and hardly made it through my FRMs i really felt it. i then jumped to the EZ-bar push downs and reped those out... finally the Rope pulldown this one had me dancing to get through it... i felt like i was gonna blow... i had to stop tbh cuz the pump was too much and shake it out but i only did that for like 2 seconds cuz i wanted to experience as much as i could still it was a major pump... as i felt like my arms were going to explode the reps were done and i walked away shaking my arms for relief... i just let my arms hang at my side i didn't even want to move them... if felt REAL good.

I love this excersise for several reasons 1 cuz it was an intense pump and i am sure its going to stimulate some growth... 2nd, cuz it was FAST i got a better pump in the 15 minutes or so doing this than i usually get in 30+ mins doing tri's the other way...

well i'll be in here tomorrow to let you know how it feels the day after... btw i got my GlutaCene today so i am thinking with a recovery as good as this i'll be looking forward to how i feel tomorrow.

Haha. Great description! I particularly like the "dancing" reference to the pressdowns. You're right - this workout is FAST AND BRUTAL!

That was a great description and I totally can feel your pain in this routine. I did my NO-Beta workout today and it was pretty brutal but bro it was good. Can't wait to do it again next Thursday.

Seriously bro you should it def stimulates the muscles... there are a few workouts like this and they are all brutal.

24 hours later... i feel like the guy on Sponge Bob... that voice that comes on and says "2 hours later" LOL... anyway...

My Triceps are feeling sore when i flex them and i do "feel" my arms a bit more today than usual... I think the Glutacene has helped keep them in check though... so far no DOMS. /crosses fingers; /knocks on wood.

woke up this morning and my tri's are sore but only when i flex them... so i think that Glutacene is really doing its job!

Your experience seems to pretty well match mine with the soreness and DOMS. Mine was a totally different experience in using the NO-Beta and Glutacene than it was without. Nice job and details on your logs. Keep it up!!

Man, that's how your triceps look now! They're gonna look way better than that when you are finished. Haha.

Ok i did it again last night and i was having some comupter issues cuz i took a video and my comp was lagging big time in upload to Youtube. anyway i hope you enjoy the vids.

Ok set one this one i did at 50 pounds the whole way through... if you look back that is a bit higher than what i did last week. i feel like i am getting stronger with this and will probably be able to do more next week. although only like 5 pounds.

My wife is the camera girl and she has a couple pieces of commentary... lol she did great except what she calls "singles" are my full range of motion reps.

There are a few folks in the background that big black dude is Marcus he and i are buddies we joke about a lot of stuff and have some good fun.

ok 7 (yeah i took 7) NO-Beta last night about 10 mins before the gym so about 20-30 mins before i actually got to hit Tri's... some dude was using the bench i was on when i first got there.

as you can see that rope pulldown is where it really gets the burn going and man o man is it a burn!

Ok here is set 2 definatly started to feel it here and on the rope you see me go down from 50 to 45 after a few... i just wasn't going to get it done if i didn't.

oh and yeah i forgot to turn on my music so i had to get it turned back on right before i started lol!

the third and final... i am really jumping and dancing at the end of this one to get that rope pulldown done. my burn starts the first few reps laying ont he bench and then the 3-4 second rest between as i am putting on new attachments is only enough to calm the fire... by the time i am hitting rope pulldown i am a full blown blaze in my muscles!

ok here goes!... btw i did a quick commercial for CreaDyl and GlutaCene before i start lol!

hope you enjoyed it... my arms are were burning bad this is one of those serious workouts that you have to incorporate or you are really missing an intense burn.

I took 7 NO-Beta because i think i have a bit of a tolerance to 6 don't really feel the tingle much anymore using only 6 but i felt it tonight again... although it was mild... i feel it in my face and upper body the most... its a warm tingle almost like super powers are being downloaded into my head HAHAH... because i feel like i can lift more for longer... anyway... maybe i'll try 8 next week, although i don't want to OD.

As a side note .... although i have done commercials before this was my first acting job from the gym sorry if it was a bit boring i'll get better as time goes on! heheh.

Thrashing Tri's gonna take me to Lee Priest horseshoe status! woohoo!

Looks like a great workout. I went up in my weight today and took 7 NO Beta like you did, I thought when reading your log here we must have been in the same frame of mind. I also like your description of how the rope pulldowns burn, amazing that so light a weight can burn sooooo incredible.

laid down to relax tonight and reached my hands behind my head and i felt like i had to stretch my Triceps out just do get my hands behind my head... Triceps were tight but felt good.

Triceps are loosening up ... however when i reach to my back i still need to go slow as my Tri's start to stretch cuz they are still a little tight... feels good to feel them back there.

You have to love that tricep burn!! This routine really isolates the tris and allows you to burn them good. I love the Glutacene here, it really makes the recovery period quick. I have increased my dose to 3 scoops this week and the recovery is amazing.

Tonight's Thrashing Triceps workout was intense...

i took 6 NO-Beta and 1.5ish scoops of CreaDyl before i got to the gym... when i hit the gym the station where i do my workout was taken and so i did Bi's first... once the station was open i took 2 more NO-Beta for a total of 8 NO-Beta... I am still feeling the Niacin lol

Ok so the first set i noticed i actually went up in weight 5 pounds
so i did:
55x8pcx8frm for each...

I really concentrated tonight and noticed i was very warm around my face and head... it was nice... i really felt the burn tonight.

TBH i only did 55 pounds on the Lying over head and the Pushdown's i had to go back to 50's on the rope pull down...

so you know i workout with my wife and we trade off on a I go, she goes cycle. Well as you know the full workout is to superset the 3 excercises Lying over head, Pushdown and Rope pulldown then rest the do it again 3 times total.

After the 2nd time i was so spent i thought i was done... i went first and then when the wife was done i was packing up and ready to go cuz i was spent and she said what are you doing we got one more! i was like... oh snap! i was already feeling like i did all 3 and yet i had one more to do HAHAH.

Well i again found myself doing the the first 2 with some intensity but that darn rope pulldown at the end is the killer... i hit my 8 pc's and was done my arms wouldn't even move so i quickly shook them out and hit my 8 frms but at about 6 i was done i was screaming at my arms to push/pull down but nothing was happening my triceps where not listening or responding to my demands... so i dug deep and for the sake of getting the 8 frms i sacrificed some form and put my body into it to get it done.

one thing that i noticed verses the other 2 times i did this excercise and i noticed this on all 3 sets... in the 2nd excercise, the pushdowns, i went numb... i wasn't sure if i was even peak contracting i couldn't really feel my triceps... it was crazy i only new i was doing a pc because i was holding for a 2 count... and i really tried to squeeze but just felt numb... i think my arms were in shock! lol

anyway good workout tonight... i had my GlutaCene so i'll let you know how i feel tomorrow for sure!

one of my buddies was doing triceps tonight and i told him about this workout... i am going to get it to him he was interested in trying it.

ok this is the last of 4 workouts...

I was a bit dissapointed it seems like i get to the gym ready to hit my tri's only to have some one using the station i need and so i have to to some bi's first... anyway here goes

I am getting to like this workout...

all sets were at 55 pounds unless i mention otherwise.

So i get ready to go this time my wife isn't doing the workout with me so i don't rest as long and i think that made a difference.

1st set... i lay down and get ready to crank out my 8pc reps and no prob then 8 frm's no prob... standing pushdowns are good starting to feel it burn... then ropes the key i think to the rope is not to let the handles touch... its easier if you do that so keep the handles seperated the whole time and pull down and out at the same time forming a triangle... if you pull down all the way with the handles touching and then pull out at the bottom it isn't the same excercise... its way easier that way.

so once again the rope pulldown is the burner i can barely make it through on my first set...

2nd set... remember i told you i had a buddy i was telling about the Thrashing Tri's w/o....well he was in the gym today and i called him over to watch my 2nd set. so i was a little pressed to be on my best behavior cuz i had an audience... lol.

well i lay down for the overhead presses and i am feeling the burn by the frm's and it isn't funny this is a serious w/o... i stand and do the bar pushdowns and i am burning up... in fact i am starting my dance... if you've done the w/o you know what dance i am talking about... my buddy is just standing there and he says bro you are wearing me out just looking at you... lol...and by the time i hit the rope pulldown i have to lower the weigth 5 pounds just to survive... i get through (barely) my 8 pc's and i have to take a quick shake out break cuz i am about to pop if not... so i get through about 5 or so and i am just staring at my arms wondering why they won't work... i have got to find some way to get 3 more of these done... i am thinking there is no way... well i actually cheat a bit and get my body into it and my buddy is coming over to help me out... and i get the 3 out. (barely)

i tell him that was 1 set and you have to do 3 total, he says that is way to intence bro i couldn't do that workout...hahah! Just scored some respect! i told him he could and to start light and work your way up...

well that was only set 2 so i rested up and got ready for #3...

it was intence but no more eventful than set 2 other than i forgot to count my final rope pulldown... i know i got 8 pc's but i have no idea how many frm's i got cuz i was just out of it... my arms were burning so bad i might as well have lifted the whole gym... i was numb.

i really like the way this w/o makes me feel like i have accomplished some huge task... its a great feeling to know that i spent it all on the weights and that i had nothing left to give... i love that feeling and the thrashing triceps work out does just that for your tri's

Double-T has some great w/o's and all of the leave me feeling like i have nothing left to give... i know that is the only way to grow and get big... thanks Double-T for running this comp... i am looking forward to utilizing this w/o and others you guys come out with regularly.

If you wanna get big and ripped this is definately one workout to add to the list of the best in the business.
